I’m using HTC One M9+, and using mobile internet connection. If I’m using Wi-Fi connection there is no problem with google chrome & Facebook. but only when im using mobile internet, in the google chrome said err_timed_out & Facebook can't refresh to latest news. I have no problem with other apps in my phone. only google chrome & Facebook.

Yesterday I synced my bold for updates and now facebook doesn't on my mobile network and only on wifi. How I can change it back so I can use my mobile network rather than wifi.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a nexus 5 and when Facebook updated yesterday it quit working. It says setting up Facebook when you launch it after awhile it says just a moment. While this is happening my phone gets hot and it drains the battery.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled with no success.
Hopefully someone can help me here. I have just received a brand new nokia 5800 chrome edition from T-Mobile. From what I can tell I think it's running version 31.0.101 firmware. One of the 1st apps I want to install is the BBC iplayer one. I browsed to www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer on the phone which prompted me to download the software. Downloaded and installed fine.
Now when I go to open the app it pops up with "Allow connection to network" message. I click ok it instantly connects via T-Mobile internet. As the iplayer only allows steaming via wifi (for t-mobile anyway) obviously this connection method is no good.
I have ready that RealPlayer basically controls the back-end of iplayer so I have turned the default connection in their to my wifi connection. Still does exactly the same thing (tries to connect via T-Mobile). I have also put the wifi as the deafult connection in settings>connectivity>destinations and it Still automatically tries to connect to T-Mobile internet with no other options.
I've unistalled and re-installed the app many times. I've also moved my WAP connections to their own seperate folder and just left the wifi as the main option, but still it tries to automatically connect using the T-Mobile WAP.
I've also tried putting the phone in offline mode and then opening the app but it just says connection unavailable in offline mode in an endless loop that is impossible to stop without turning the phone off.
This is really frustrating. All in all it seems like a great little phone, just a shame I'm having such trouble with the 1st app I decide to put on it!
If anyone can offer any help I would be most grateful.
How whenever you're surfing the Internet on chrome, and you go to zoom in a little bit on a webpage, and then you click on a link? You get a bubble magnifying that link so you can see it better? Is there anyway to turn that magnification off or disable it?

But something just does not seem right while using apps that require scrolling up or down. EX: Facebook, Twitter, Play Store and especially the browser. Just to note Im on TMobile and am experiencing these after an uodate and factory reset after the update.

I've looked under the help section in Chrome, but there instructions to change my homepage don't show the same settings that I have on my phone. What Chrome shows me is to go to "Settings, under Appearance check the box "Show Home Page' button, click change, On my phone I have 3 vertical dots and I select Settings, then there is "Home Page (off or on), click on that there is a box for default and I click the large dot at the top of the screen for on or off and the url is showing: sprint.com.How do I change that?

Then, a couple days ago I went to open chrome and a pop up came up saying I had a virus. I backed out of it, downloaded AVANT and it didn't find any issues. Now when I go to chrome, the phone randomly redirects to the play store trying to get get me to download all kinds of different apps. Remove Google account and log it back in. But still nothing so i manually downloaded from apk mirror and even that way says not installed when trying to update.

I have a lower android version in my tablet and it still holds my last pages so I suspect this is an upgrade "improvement". The tabs do remain in my history but that means going to my history and opening from there. I wonder is there any way around this - I use specific pages every time I open and this is adding unnecessary steps.

It seems to be picking up Rogers network, when I am on the Telus network. It will not find the Telus network at all. I've tried pulling out my simcard, and resetting it. I've tried to manually select Telus, but it will not come up, it says: Mobile Network: *none* or Rogers.
