I lost my phone the other night, and tonight we turned off the service so whoever has it can't text/call. Will this effect the app "track my phone" so that it won't be able to track it?

I've come to dread restarting my phone (after deleting an app, to free up space). Every time I pull the battery, it's like playing russian roulette with my phone. When it restarts, it goes back to that original wallpaper that my bb bold2 had, and then the trackpad won't work. Even if I click down once to activate the trackpad, nothing moves on my screen. It almost always ends with me having to do a second battery pull, which is really nerve-wracking. It's like there's some sort of SEVERE lag going on. And if it does begin to work after a battery pull, it takes like 6 minutes to begin working.

View 6 Replies View RelatedThe phone shows 3g and full bars of service, but whenever I try to call with it, there's no sound until the "call failed' tone goes. No ringing, nothing. The tone plays fine, as do music and videos, but texts and calls cannot be sent or received. Considering it got wet recently (I stuck in rice for a few days), there may be some corrosion or something.
View 4 Replies View RelatedUp till a few months ago I regularly used TrackID on my Sony Ericson W580i to identify tracks on my local radio station (DJ's are USELESS they never say what the tracks are called!) But the last few months I keep getting the message 'Service Not Available' after the sound sample has been sent to wherever it goes. I understand the service itself is free, but in order to use the service you need to send the sound sample to get it analyzed and you have to pay a 'data transmission charge'. Has Sony discontinued the service? Or have they updated the Track ID system and I need to update my phone? Would save me having to text the DJ's for the track names.

View 3 Replies View RelatedThe track Pad of my BB bold 9700 doesn't work. I can click but I can't move the cursor. I just can see the first option in the menu but I can't move to another options. I changed the Track Pad and It doesn't worked. I think that maybe the problem is in the main board, I don't know.... Is there another way to move through the menu without using the trak Pad? I have tried taking the battery and sim card out and pressing metal plate.

I get it and the track pad doesn't scroll. I can still use it to click on an icon but I just can move it. I work in Afghanistan and I can't mail stuff outta the base i work at. Oh and i put "new" in quotes for the fact that when i started it up I got a Tmobile message.

I can use a USB or Bluetooth mouse and they control the cursor fine. Swiping, dragging, scrolling, clicking, basically any form of movement on the track pad you try does nothing.

I check the signal which has 5 bars and AT&T then an "E".. I expected to see a 3G so I reset the system and still received an "E".
