IPhone :: I Thought I Could Have It Shipped To My Office?
Jun 15, 2010
I got through to the pre-order, but then it said that all orders have to be shipped to the billing address on the account. I wanted to have it picked up by the receptionist at my office. Was I mistaken when I read about people having it shipped to their work? Did all those people have business plans?
have just got a Samsung Galaxy S2 and created my first document on Polaris office, saving it as a .doc file. But when copying it to my computer and trying to open it, up flashes a Microsoft Office File Validation security alert, saying that a problem has been detected in trying to open the file and that opening it is probably dangerous and may allow a malicious user to take over my computer.I'm aware that there are issues with MOFV over reading some file formats -- has anyone come across this? Is it that MOFV can't read Polaris files, or is there the possibility of something sinister going on? I've run two different antivirus programme scans (installed on two different computers) on this file, which haven't flagged anything.
I'm trying to preorder on the apple store website. I normally get hung up on the "processing information" screen after picking which data plan I want. The one time I did end up getting past that screen it asked me which apple store location I wanted to pick up from, there was no option to have it shipped. Any idea what gives?
Phone was shipped so excited to get it! What will be the first thing you will do with it?
I just cant wait to see this display with all the good things iv heard about it really excites me having this on our new iPhone! also iMovie will be real sweet.
I am now considering having my iPhone 4 shipped to my house, but I need to have it by 12pm, as I am leaving til late that night then.
When you got your 3GS were you guaranteed to have it by a specific time? Like I know FedEx and UPS have a specific overnight that but be there by 10am or something like that. Do you get this option in checkout? Or do they just send it how ever they want?
All pre-orders for iPhone are being shipped by Apple. However both ATT and Apple are fulfilling and taking the orders. They do not ship to ATT first then ATT re-ships to end user. The only reason ATT gives you that "based on available stock" crapola is because they are not in control of the actual shipping and thus do not have the actual visibility into stock as apple. Thus if you get an order confirmation from either site, you are just as likely to get it on the 24th. Same shipping method. Time of day is simply dependent on the FedEx route.
I just checked my bank account and it showed apple charged for my iPhone which is supposed to ship the 21st. But when I checked my order status my white bumper (ordered two days after the iPhone on a seperate order) had shipped and has tracking info but the iPhone isn't even prepared for shipping. Also they haven't charged me for the bumper.
Just an FYI for anyone still wondering on these ship times. My original order, placed the day they announced it, said it would not ship until the end of August. I just got an e-mail from Apple stating my order shipped, and will be delivered by August 3rd. Cool news, but I probably won't even use the thing as I don't appear to have any reception issues, and really like the look of the naked phone. The only real reason I'm thinking of using it, is to help protect the back a bit when setting it down on certain surfaces.
My iPhone 4s won't connect to my car head unit it comes up connected and then half way thought it comes up as not connected and when I try to connect again it come up as device is out of range even when the phone is right next to it?
I lost my phone the other night, and tonight we turned off the service so whoever has it can't text/call. Will this effect the app "track my phone" so that it won't be able to track it?
I was wondering if you you pre-order the phone through Apple and have it shipped to your home, is the box already opened? I'm assuming they have to open the box and activate the phone via iTunes before shipping it out.The reason I ask is that I love Apple's packaging and I kinda wanted to open the box myself when it arrived and be the first to hold it
I purchased office plus app. And after that I had to erase the all apps and re-installed. But when I re-installed the office plus app.and when I want to save any thing it says that you cannot save this file unless you buy upgrade. But As far as I remember before erasing the office app. I was able to save any thing I wanted. Is ıt normal?
I have just updated my iphone software and now I have problem to download my email from microsoft exchange outside my office. The email will be automatically updated when I am in the office (using wifi) but will stop connecting outside the office even though the wifi or 3G is available.
When I do software update on my Nokia E72, I get this optional download item Microsoft office Communicator(1.0) for download . Can someone please tell what is this application about and how is this different from Nokia Messaging?
