I purchased office plus app. And after that I had to erase the all apps and re-installed. But when I re-installed the office plus app.and when I want to save any thing it says that you cannot save this file unless you buy upgrade. But As far as I remember before erasing the office app. I was able to save any thing I wanted. Is ıt normal?
have just got a Samsung Galaxy S2 and created my first document on Polaris office, saving it as a .doc file. But when copying it to my computer and trying to open it, up flashes a Microsoft Office File Validation security alert, saying that a problem has been detected in trying to open the file and that opening it is probably dangerous and may allow a malicious user to take over my computer.I'm aware that there are issues with MOFV over reading some file formats -- has anyone come across this? Is it that MOFV can't read Polaris files, or is there the possibility of something sinister going on? I've run two different antivirus programme scans (installed on two different computers) on this file, which haven't flagged anything.
my airtel networks acees point "mobile office " used to work in nokia 701 for a week now its not working it has been 7 days whever i try to connect i just get this message "connection failed, connection unavailable"
I got through to the pre-order, but then it said that all orders have to be shipped to the billing address on the account. I wanted to have it picked up by the receptionist at my office. Was I mistaken when I read about people having it shipped to their work? Did all those people have business plans?
I have just updated my iphone software and now I have problem to download my email from microsoft exchange outside my office. The email will be automatically updated when I am in the office (using wifi) but will stop connecting outside the office even though the wifi or 3G is available.
When I do software update on my Nokia E72, I get this optional download item Microsoft office Communicator(1.0) for download . Can someone please tell what is this application about and how is this different from Nokia Messaging?
Just got a BlackBerry bold 9700 smatphone (on O2 UK). (nice phone!) I'm tryng to syncronise my phone with my work PC so that I can access my Outlook calender at home + put my Outlook contacts on my phone. I have instaled BlackBerry Desktop manager then I went to "syncronize" on the main menu. On the left had side there is a tab that says "syncronizatin" (i cliked on it). I then hit Synchronization. I have selected ALL the device applications i.e. calender, memo pad, address book and tasks then hit OK. I then get an error measage as follows: "Synchronization is currently unavailable for: Address Book because the application(s) is (are) configured for wireless synchronization. Desktop synchronization for the above application(s) will be disabled. Please click on "Help" for information on how to disable wireless synchronization on your device."
We just migrated to Microsoft Office 365. All smartphones connect OK, but now I need to connect the BB. I understand there's a service for businesses, which acts as a connector to 365. Can anyone point me to the service registration or purchase?
If I set out of office on using outlook, the automatic replies will only work until I check mail on the blackberry then after checking mail the out of office is ignored and no automatic replies are sent until I turn off out of office replies then re enable them. The Blackberry curve 9300 shows the out of office as being switched on and has the message I set in outlook showing.
When trying to start Officesuite or open a document using same, the following error occurs:'An update is available. To continue, the application must be updated.'Continuing via wireless or data traffic gives an immediate 'Installation failed' error.
I am not able to get through with the installation for Microsoft Office Communicator on my BB Curve 8520. I am not able to decide as to which version to download.
There is a bug between BIS and Office365 and Exchange Online that causes the email record ID to get corrupted when using IMAP to retrieve your mail. The cause is old email messages will be pushed out to your BlackBerry. Not sure it the problem is on RIM's side or Microsoft's side as other IMAP clients work with both products.New BlackBerry smartphone phones automatically connect to the IMAP service when setting up Internet email so there is no option to use POP.So the only reliable method to get email from Office365 or Exchange Online is to use the Outlook Web Access (OWA) service. Alternatively, you could also use BlackBerry Enterprise Service (BES) or an ActiveSync client like AstroSync for full email/contacts/calendar support. To get Outlook Web Access (OWA) working use the following settings:[URL] Outlook choose OptionsThen select Settings for POP, IMAP, and SMTP accessLook under the Server name for POP, IMAP or SMTP accessPOP settingServer name: podXXXXX.outlook.com (XXXXX will show your actually POD number)That's the setting you can use for Outlook Web Access (OWA) in the following format:[URL] is [URL] (domain name is your email's domain name)Mailbox is firstname.lastname
The installation log shows both these programs installed on 18/08/11 when I upgraded to Symbian Anna but their icons don't appear in my apps.ACTION TAKE SO FAR
1) tried reinstalled firmware through Ovi suite - failed to have programs
2) advanced date on phone to 22/10/11 and using software update on phone... updates appeared for Symbian Anna 1/2 and 2/2 and installation appeared to take place. However, no icon for Quickoffice or PDF.
3) If I go to settings > application manager > installed apps then Adobe Reader LE version 10.00(245) is listed as being on C: phonememory and Quickoffice 6.04(460) on C: phonememory
I just installed and tried the Picsel Smart Office for the Nokia E7-00.I am impressed. It is far faster than the Quickoffice. It also has a nice user interface.I spended 8 months thinking that Quickoffice was the best office suite for the E7.Too bad I did not learned that before.
My connection account has been changed to office 365. I have altered the settings to pop.outlook.com, port 995. smpt.outlook.com port 587. I need to set security to SSL and TLS but I can only find the option to tick security, not change them How do I set up my phone to receive e-mails?
Has anyone successfully used the new native OCS client for the E72? Mine won't connect to the OCS server with a not very helpful "-20" error message. I've looked at the details in the McsService0.log file but nothing obviously wrong jumps out.
I just want to know if i can get a free documents editor for the n900.i like it how i can overclock the n900 from 600 mhz to 1000 mhz in less than 30 sec.
