BB Curve :: Out Of Office Being Ignored Once Checked Email On It?
Oct 16, 2012
If I set out of office on using outlook, the automatic replies will only work until I check mail on the blackberry then after checking mail the out of office is ignored and no automatic replies are sent until I turn off out of office replies then re enable them. The Blackberry curve 9300 shows the out of office as being switched on and has the message I set in outlook showing.
Is there a setting to adjust how often my email is checked? I sent myself an email from one account to my other Hotmail account which is setup on the BlackBerry, but it did not appear for a while.
I bought a new blackberry curve 8900 just 3 months back & trouble with it is that whever a new SMS arrives & I check it after say long time (15-20 mins)...the phone goes off - and on after few seconds.
Has anybody faced the same issue? Is it a known problem? If yes, does Blackberry has it posted on their official website? Please let me know what could be the problem. Thank you & if you have more info..pls pass it on.
I have recently had my blackberry stolen so I rang up my sevice provider which is Vodafone to lock the phone to prevent others using it. However, I just discovered you can GPS track your mobile and when I checked the staus of my mobile it said active. So I was wondering will i have to unlock my phone and then try and locate it by using GPS
have just got a Samsung Galaxy S2 and created my first document on Polaris office, saving it as a .doc file. But when copying it to my computer and trying to open it, up flashes a Microsoft Office File Validation security alert, saying that a problem has been detected in trying to open the file and that opening it is probably dangerous and may allow a malicious user to take over my computer.I'm aware that there are issues with MOFV over reading some file formats -- has anyone come across this? Is it that MOFV can't read Polaris files, or is there the possibility of something sinister going on? I've run two different antivirus programme scans (installed on two different computers) on this file, which haven't flagged anything.
I have just purchased a BlackBerry curve and have problems connecting to wifi the wireless network is connected yet I cannot get it to work, get the message "unable to connect to the Internet, please try again later. If the problem persists please contact your service provider". In manager Connection the WiFi is connected but no tick on the right hand side box?
I had the Focus prior to this using Office 365 for our corporate mail. When I got the new phone for some reason deleting mail on Office 365 locks the phone for probably 5-10 seconds per mail item. This probably happens 8/10 times, and then the other 2/10 times it goes lightning fast like it did on the Focus. I thought it was a connection issue but I tried enabling and disabling the Wi-Fi so it forces it to go off 4G LTE, and it also the reverse so it goes off Wi-Fi, but for some reason it still does the same thing.
I can delete like 5 emails hanging on each of them, then on the 6th for some reason, runs really fast, then 7th-9 slow and then 10 is fast all in rapid succession.
ive had my BB BOLD 9700 since 2 years and never had the need to link my office email to it till now so i tried to follow the setup

I am using an unlocked Bell Optimus Quantum on Rogers. I checked in via the people tile, but i can't fugure out how to check-out (I don't want people to think that i am at the local Starbuck's 24/7)?
Is there a way to to make the iPhone vibrate over and over until the SMS message is checked? I couldn't find it in Cydia, can someone point me in the right direction.
I have iphone 3GS 16 GB, currently on 3.1.3, jailbroken by spirit and unlocked. It is one month old only. I noticed that the battery drains so fast (3 hours of listening to music through earbuds and 30 minutes of wi-fi and that's all, I have truned wi-fi off, push notifications off, location off, EQ off etc). Since this battery life is not typical for iphone 3GS, I am planning to get it checked by Apple. But an employee there told me they will not touch it as long as it is jailbroken. I downloaded 3.1.3. and tried to make restore through itunes (click restore while holding shift and browse to 3.1.3) but it does accept and it gave me error # 3194. itunes asked me to upgrade to iOS 4.0 but I don't want to do it now becasue I know there is no jailbreak. So, is there anyway to un-jailbreak and restore to 3.1.3 so that it can be checked by Apple?
Ok I've noticed and I have my auto brightness checked off and my brightness level at 70 percent.. Why is it that I notice on home screen and while using apps that my back light dims just a tad every so often.. Its like the screen dims about 10-15 percent quite often.. The first phone I exchanged for another one and this one does the same thing. Only thing I did n changed on the phone is that it's running Art.
I turned on my phone (Xperia X10/mini pro running Android 2.1-update 1) yesterday and found a message saying, "SD card being checked for errors". Turned off the phone and removed the card, checked the contacts, put the card back in. Turned the phone back on. Then got a range of errors. "SD card removed" "Insert SD card" "SD card being checked for errors". At the same time, the phone started turning itself off, a blank screen would appear and disappear, etc.
During the day, it would display an error saying that the SIM card couldn't be found. After removing the card, the battery and the SIM card several times, the phone started behaving normally but it now it can't see the SD card. I replaced the old SD card - which has been working fine for months - with a new one. Both are 2GB Sandisk cards. The phone displayed two messages: "Blank SD Card Found" and then "SD Card Removed" and now displays "SD Card Removed. Insert a new one."
The calendar on my Iphone is using GMT instead of EST when I enter an appointment. I have restarted, checked for software updates, checked under settings/general/date&time. I've also checked under settings/mail,contacts/calendar. I basically went through everything under settings looking for anything that related to time. All seems to be appropriately set. Why it is using GMT and how to stop it? I have obviously missed something.
I have a user (I'm their IT support) who has a BB Curve 8350 (?) and when they try to sync to office 2010 (calendar and address book) it lets me configure it in Intellisync but then gives me an "Microsoft Outlook Not Installed" error directly afterwards. Office is very clearly installed because I can open it up and check email etc. I'm using Windows 7 32 bit OS, Office 2010 32 bit and BBDM 6.0.1 B21. Phone is also updated to 5.0.
My BB Torch 9800 will no ring, have checked that the profiles are all on normal - which they are, volume set at 10, but no ringing, phone will vibrate only?
I'm having trouble syncing my iTunes library to my iPhone 3GS with only the checked songs.I went through my library and checked the music that I want. Plugged in the phone and went to the home summary page and checked "sync only checked..." I'm still getting some songs that aren't checked in my library and some of the songs that are checked aren't syncing. What am I doing wrong?
I've just installed iOS 5.1.1, discovered that not all photos that I checked in iTunes had been synchronized to my iPhone, noted that Other was taking up lots of space, restored the iPhone from a backup, discovered that it still did not subsequently sync all requested photos, selected to sync no photos and delete those on the iPhone, and am in the process of once again syncing the photos that I selected.
Now I notice that I selected 25,287 photos, but iTunes is reporting "Copying photo ... of 13,320". Why just 13,320? I elected to erase all the photos on the iPhone, so I would expect that iTunes would have to copy all 25,287!
Maybe Apple would be wise to invest some cash in software quality control. iOS 5 and iPhoto '11 are seriously flawed.
