Apr 7, 2015I've rebooted, even did a factory reset and still won't rotate..

View 4 RepliesFor no apparent reason my screen won't auto rotate in apps. It does auto rotate when docked. I've switched the auto rotate in settings on and off several times, pulled the battery, even installed an auto rotate switch app...nothing. It's really tough to read my news feeds when I can't rotate and zoom.
View 2 Replies View RelatedFor the last few days, my phone will not rotate. The only app that is rotating is YouTube, but even gmail and the stock message+ is not rotating to landscape. I checked all the settings and everything is correct from what I can see.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI think I've noticed it a few times before, but tonight I've been able to replicate it on purpose. I have my brightness at close to it's dimmest setting, yet in direct sunlight the screen goes to max brightness; hold it in the shade and it goes back dim.
View 1 Replies View RelatedThe auto rotate stops working on my RAZR I.I have it checked all the time but the screen just stops auto-rotating. The only way to fix it is to turn it off and back on.It is very annoying and I really want it sorted out.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got this phone yesterday (6/19) and there is one thing that I cannot figure out. When in sound setting there are check marks next to audible touch tones when using dial pad, audible selection when making screen selections, and screen lock sounds, but I don't get any sounds. Sounds work great for everything else. Volume is up.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI cannot stand Lollipop, so I returned my phone to Motorola and received one that has KitKat on it. If I can turn off auto-updating of the OS, I will be good to go. I do not want to root the phone as that will mess up my warranty and insurance. If I cannot avoid Lollipop, I will get an Iphone or go back to a flip phone. Lollipop is the worst user interface ever. It is like the "New Coke". You cannot turn the phone to silent with the VOLUME button, how counterintuitive is that!? Also I don't want to see every update on the locked screen, the little pictures are fine. However with Lollipop, it is all the alerts or none at all.
View 24 Replies View RelatedFor some reason my Gmail auto sync keeps turning off.
View 7 Replies View RelatedFirstly, The Voice talk section just keeps popping up, also a disclaimer from Samsung about Vlingo comes up quite a bit! Also even though I don't have auto rotate on, the screen keeps rotating around which is quite annoying! It freezes quite a bit as well. And the battery doesn't seem to charge as well. Also when I lock the screen and write in the pattern to open it, it has stoped working on occasion. Now the main difference I've noticced is that ther seem to be loadfs of apps afrer appearing on my phone which I never downloaded suchas:ChocoEUKorcom.samsung.app.playreadycom.samsung.InputEventAppcom.sec.android.app.Icdtestcom.sec.android.app.screencom.sec.android.app.smtsetEncryptAppAnd more and more!!!!! I have tried to delete or uninstall them but they won't let me! And I am worried because it says these can access all personal data such as services that cost me money as directly calling pone numbers, sending texts etc!

View 1 Replies View RelatedI use the default email app for my corporate Exchange account. It works great. I also have a Google Apps account for which I only sync Google Drive, so that I have access to my Google Drive at work. However, everyone in my exchange Active Directory has a duplicate account in Google Apps.
In my google apps account settings, I have contacts and Gmail set to never sync. Sync is off. However, whenever I am typing an address in my email app for exchange, all of me Google Apps Active Directory email addresses also come up, which is problematic because they are all duplicates of the exchange email addresses, since the directories are linked.
For some reason my phone is all of a sudden sending auto texts out to people when I don't pick up the call.
I just noticed it started yesterday. On my phone settings I don't have auto reject as an option. I have the quick responses but that is just where to edit them.
Where to turn this on and off?
"Okay Google" not working from locked screen or timed out dark screen. I noticed this befoer the update that it stopped and didn't work after update either.Under Language and Input >Voice Input>Enhanced Google Service>OK Google detection>... I have all 3 options on - 'from google app', 'from any screen', 'Personal results'
View 4 Replies View Relatedit is not a part of "Moto Display", it is actually the screen after it where you have to press the power button.
see attached pic
how do i get rid of these "notifications"? (text messages, e-mails, etc..)
they just suddenly appeared after the 5.1 update.
Yes the auto rotate box is checked and I tried rebooting the phone and it simply won't work this is really pissing me off
View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter updating to Lollipop my screen keeps getting brighter by itself. One minute the screen is at the brightest setting, then all of a sudden it gets even brighter. This happens whether or not it's plugged in. Phone seems to get a little hot but that's usually normal for phones these days.
View 4 Replies View RelatedSo since this phone does not have an LED light, the only way to know when you have a message is via Moto Display, right? Well, now the display comes in anytime there is any vibration, its diving me nuts. The MotoDisplay has no options other than on/off? I really just want the screen to turn on when I either have a new message or when I wave my hand over it, NOT when it senses vibrations. If the phone is on my couch, the display comes on all the time. Even when its on my desk, it can sense when i drop a folder or book on it and the screen turns on. Are there really no ways to turn off the vibration sensors?????
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have it set to keep the screen off during sleep mode, bu my screen still comes on. Audio stays off, but not screen.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI usually disable my pin when I am on my bike so that I have easy access to my tracking app. Today I encountered the screen here and cannot choose None or Swipe for my lock screen. How this was disabled.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI cant find the setting that locks the icons so that they don't get delete from the screens. I have had the phone for 5 weeks and it seams like very couple of days there are icons that are deleted and I have to re add them to the screens.
View 8 Replies View RelatedOn two occasions now the phone has been making an odd 'alert' tone both after unlocking the screen and while the phone screen is active.
It's not an application doing this because they are all closed. The phone is only supposed to make a click sound for locking and unlocking as per sound settings.
My phone's screen is flashing when in sleep mode. I thought that it might be caused by notifications, but I cleared them and it still flashes.
View 5 Replies View RelatedCan you add home screens so you have more than 3?
View 6 Replies View RelatedWhenever you turn on the phone, or whenever you come back from a blank screen, my Motorola Droid Turbo always starts at the default Phone app. This is really frustrating because you have to close this screen before you can get to the Home screen to do anything else. It also has been the cause of a number of accidental dialings since it defaults to the Speed Dial screen and all the dial buttons are there ready to use. Is there any way to change this? I want to just boot to the home screen, like every other phone I have used.
View 6 Replies View RelatedNoticed some lag or stuttering on the recents screen? Mainly when swiping away open apps, I've noticed a hesitation before it slides all the way off the screen.
View 7 Replies View RelatedHow do I remove an Amazon ad from my Turbo main screen? Tried removing but still on and annoying....
View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter updating to Lollipop 5.1, I noticed my screen is blank after using any app (messaging, GMail, etc.) and it won't come back. Calls and texts and other notices come (can actually answer calls and see the call screen) through, but home screen and any adjacent screens are all black. The status bar and icons are visible though and I can use the pull down menu. It's as if it is refreshing but never gets to the end. I installed many apps, even used a stock wallpaper), but it still will do this. I have to keep rebooting until it eventually stops; I check it by using a random app and seeing if I can see the screen by pressing the Home button. I also wiped the cache partition after the OS upgrade.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI love this phone, but the screen dimming in the sun makes it unreadable. Any way to stop it? I have auto bright turned off.
View 7 Replies View RelatedWhen navigating with Google maps, my screen turns off when time out expires, even when charging from my car power adapter. Is there a way to keep the display on while navigating and charging? 64 gb Droid Turbo.
View 10 Replies View RelatedWhen outdoors, the screen dims and then brightens randomly. Attentive display settings have battery saver mode disabled.
View 18 Replies View RelatedIs there not a way to remove the horizontal Google search bar from all, or even some of my screens? All the other widgets and items on our main screens can be long pressed and removed, but this one just opens no matter how I press it.
It is odd because there is an option to add it as it is showing with the other widgets in the widget menu, but no way to remove it. I just find it an annoyance that you can't move it or delete it. I had the same search bar on my S3 and could delete it.
