The track Pad of my BB bold 9700 doesn't work. I can click but I can't move the cursor. I just can see the first option in the menu but I can't move to another options. I changed the Track Pad and It doesn't worked. I think that maybe the problem is in the main board, I don't know.... Is there another way to move through the menu without using the trak Pad? I have tried taking the battery and sim card out and pressing metal plate.
View 3 RepliesI have read some of the other posts related to this issue and I seem to be running into a wall. I just bought a "new" unlocked curve from amazon. I get it and the track pad doesn't scroll. I can still use it to click on an icon but I just can move it. I work in Afghanistan and I can't mail stuff outta the base i work at. Oh and i put "new" in quotes for the fact that when i started it up I got a Tmobile message.
View 6 Replies View RelatedThe track pad on my new 500 does nothing. I'm using a Photon. Everything seems to work fairly well, except for the track pad, which doesn't move the cursor. I can use a USB or Bluetooth mouse and they control the cursor fine. Swiping, dragging, scrolling, clicking, basically any form of movement on the track pad you try does nothing.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI've come to dread restarting my phone (after deleting an app, to free up space). Every time I pull the battery, it's like playing russian roulette with my phone. When it restarts, it goes back to that original wallpaper that my bb bold2 had, and then the trackpad won't work. Even if I click down once to activate the trackpad, nothing moves on my screen. It almost always ends with me having to do a second battery pull, which is really nerve-wracking. It's like there's some sort of SEVERE lag going on. And if it does begin to work after a battery pull, it takes like 6 minutes to begin working.

The Z3 connected successfully and i can play the Audio Files over my Sony XAV-602BT. But it doesn't show any Information of the Track. The Sound played and on my Radio are no Information about Title and Artist. Before i get my Z3 i had used an Iphone 5 with the same Radio and this works perfectly i had seen the Artist and Track Information on my Radio. But this doesn't work with my Z3.

View 2 Replies View RelatedHave had the Bold for a couple yrs. Was missing App World icon for a while, then upgraded to the latest OS. Had the icon back for about a week, then it disappeared again. Battery pull doesn't help.The camera stopped working before the OS upgrade, and still doesn't work even after that. When I try to open it, I see the controls at the bottom of the screen for a while, it sits for a few minutes, then I get an error message "Could not start the camera. Close other applications and try opening the camera again." This happens even when I've closed everything else. Battery pull doesn't help this either.Tried the Device Self Test & the camera failed.

1. Ever since the upgrade from OS5 to OS6, I've been getting memory issues when simply browsing the internet. U get the message "The memory available on your device is low. Please close some tabs." just reading the news.
2. This is urgent. I just updated my OS6 and now my e-mail doesn't even work. Whenever I try to set it up under e-mail accounts "internet mail account", it just freezes or closes.
I've looked at the possible go to "mobile.blackberry.com" and go to communications but I don't see that option available. I also tried battery pulling many times to restart my e-mail service. This is coming close for me in drawing the line for BlackBerry phones.
I am using bb Curve 9300 right now but when I insert my card in bb bold 9780 (which I just bought, emails don,t work. It just asks me the passwords for my existing emails but when I enter my passwords, nothing happens. It asks me to log in again. I can't set up new emails on this phone. It doesn't give me option to set up new emails.

I've updated to the OS 6 and now I cannot setup my email accounts. Can't add or delete any account. Our mobile signal is extremely limited since we're out in the country so wifi is essential here.On my 9700, wifi worked perfectly with all applications but that doesn't appear to be the case with the bold 9900. Several apps are extremely slow or don't work at all. I think the reason for this is the 9900 isn't using wifi for some apps. I believe some apps are using wifi such as the browser and facebook but app world, google maps, scoremobile, whatsapp and tunein radio to name a few don't appear to be using wifi at all.

So i then saw the alt+aA+del option this worked too temporarily so now i will take out the battery it will work for about five minutes and then you will not be able to use the touchscreen (everything else is fine)?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a New Bold 9700, Software version 5.0.0.405, Carrier AT&T. The "Return Key" Between the Red Telephone end key and the Track Pad, doesn't always work on the first push, sometimes it requires multiple pushes to get it to work.
Example, In the Home screen area, if you hit the home key it lists all your icons, if you hit the Return Key, it works most of the time, but many times it will require either another push or a push and hold to work. I went into the About, Applications, 3rd party apps listing I pushed the return key,, and it required multiple pushes to work-, ( It should return you to your starting point)
I have already done a Battery Pull while the device was on, I thought it got better but, no such luck, same thing again.
I also thought that maybe the button or pad is "Stiff" and just needs a break-in period? I don't know.
yesterday my phone switches off automatically at battery level 15, and today at battery level 25 the phone switches off again... Then at the moment I plug my charger cable into my phone (at battery level 15) it reboots and after the reboot the touchscreen no longer works. Then I upgraded Whatsapp and rebooted my phone again to see if it is fixed, but it still isn't the touchscreen simply doesn't work... It doesn't respond when I press on screen icon or scroll or whatever I do.
