My teacher had her iPhone stolen right out of her purse today and I was wondering if there was any way to track it without the use of MobileMe or any other software. I was thinking that maybe since it has GPS it can be tracked down.

I have already tried checking the recent calls, texting the phone, offering a reward, even contacting At&t - all to no avail.
So I am wondering if its possible AT ALL to Track this thing down.
I was wondering if I would be able to track if my stolen iPhone has been activated by anyone, I have my box with all serial numbers, etc

Last Monday night, I called the phone not too long after it was stolen and it went straight to voicemail. Later that night I suspended service.
