IPhone :: Stolen 4 - How To Track It By 'Find My IPhone'?
Apr 4, 2012
I have a iPhone 4 which was stolen from my bag three days ago. The robber managed to switch off the iPhone as it went offline when I tried to track it using 'Find my iPhone'. Is there anyway to get my iPhone back ? I selected 'remote lock' and 'email me when the phone goes online' but not remote lock as I was afraid I can't track it in the future. The phone is passcode locked, so, I bet he can't use it. The iPhone was running iOS 5.0.1 and I'm living in Saudi Arabia. It was officially unlocked and I was using the STC carrier. And 3G was on when the phone was stolen.
My teacher had her iPhone stolen right out of her purse today and I was wondering if there was any way to track it without the use of MobileMe or any other software. I was thinking that maybe since it has GPS it can be tracked down.
My iPhone was just stolen a few hours ago. Unfortunately there was not yet a tracking app installed as it was brand new. I NEED to find a way to atleast see the location. I have already tried checking the recent calls, texting the phone, offering a reward, even contacting At&t - all to no avail.
So I am wondering if its possible AT ALL to Track this thing down.
I requested remote lock my lost iphone through find my iphone. Can I still track my iphone through icloud if thief restores or formats it or syncs with his itunes account.??
I got stolen my handbag in Istanbul. My IPhone 4s was in my bag. I need to block all service and all my information and also I tried to find my IPhone but I couldn't because they may did something.

I've recently had my iphone stolen, it was prepaid so he probably took the sim out. I am pretty sure I didn't have any applications as it was brand new is there a way to track the iphone any other way? Most suggestions I've had is no use because you need your phone infront of me which I physically cannot do to use applications. I have a serial number?
my bb got stolen n it had no sim at that time!! is there any way to track the phone or locate it using its pin or mac address? i've already reported to the police about the loss!
My iPhone was stolen today from my locker at the gym and I went home and used [URL] to locate my iphone but it keeps saying my phone is offline and that it needs to connect to the internet. I have always had the location service enabled so I dont know why this is happening. What can I do? Whenever I call my iPhone it goes straight to answering machine too
So i was at the gym and someone broke into my locker and stole my phone and wallet and 4-5 other people got their stuff stolen. I just care about getting the phone back.
My iPhone 4S has stopped holding a charge overnight. I've wiped it clean and reinstalled the software. What could be running that would cause this to happen? Bluetooth is off and a few location services are on but nothing that hasn't been on the last six months before this stared happening.
My iPhone 4 was stolen out of my hand earlier today. My iPhone was turned on and in use at the time it was grabbed. The 'Find my iPhone' app was installed on device and GPS was turned on (was looking at a map at the time).
The police asked for my apple id and we logged into 'find my iphone' application shortly after the incident. My 3 devices were listed and iPhone was displaying with 'No location' status. Approximately 2 hours after the incident my iPhone device (1 of 3 total devices) simply disappeared as a device from the interface. If the device was only turned off by thief my understanding is that it would simply show 'No location'. Does anyone know what could have happened or how the thief has removed my device from my 'Find my iPhone' application?
My iPhone 4 was stolen in a bar in Boston last weekend, together with my jacket. I had Find My iPhone installed on it, but the phone has not come online since I lost it. I am just visiting the US; I bought the phone unlocked in Belgium and it had a UK simcard in it at the time of theft. Is there anything I can do to stop the thief from using it with his sim card? I have done some research and have found that I could ask my provider to blacklist the IMEI number. But what's the point of doing that in Belgium as it got stolen in the US and is probably still here... Can't I report my serial number to Apple and will that then stop the thief from using the phone when he syncs with iTunes?
Ok so I had my iPhone stolen last night.I'm pretty sure I set up "Find my iPhone", anyway how do I actually go about using it?Do I have to use another iPhone or can I do it anyway through my laptop?
Had my iphone stolen recently and i asked other ways to find it i finally had more success. Ive used someone elses iphone app and tried to locate it, but im assuming either they have location off or arent connected to any internet access, in this case is there anything you can do to help locate it? Is there a way around it my device has sent through a message assuming it has being viewed i wouldnt know and it also has been locked.
