My iPhone was stolen today from my locker at the gym and I went home and used [URL] to locate my iphone but it keeps saying my phone is offline and that it needs to connect to the internet. I have always had the location service enabled so I dont know why this is happening. What can I do? Whenever I call my iPhone it goes straight to answering machine too
My iPhone was stolen yesterday, buy I fear the person who stole it already took out the sim card. Does that mean i cannot locate it using find my iphone?
My son lost his iphone4 on school bus and the finder has turned off the device itself. The GPS was off when it was stolen. Is there a better technology than icloud app to locate this device? How can I make it impossible for the thief to be able to either use it or sell it?
I was testing out the Find iPhone app from my iPad and I get "location services disabled" next to the iPhone in the app. I am able to send texts (messages) to and from the iPhone. What's up?
I got my verizon galaxy s5 stolen last week Monday and I'm wondering if there's any way to locate and wipe the phone? I know it's been over a week, but any way to locate and wipe the phone?
Last Monday night, I called the phone not too long after it was stolen and it went straight to voicemail. Later that night I suspended service. I went ahead and called the insurance I have for the phone and got another s5 delivered on Wednesday for a $99 deductible. I activated the phone that evening and it's been working fine since then.
I tried installing android device manager app on my new s5 and it wasn't able to locate my stolen s5 and my current s5.
I am using a blackberry for the first time.Device GPS cannot locate, I called up my service provider it says that the blackberry maps are not supported download google maps, which I did. But apparently even google maps can't locate me. I have put the location on in the options. Still nothing works.

I've recently had my iphone stolen, it was prepaid so he probably took the sim out. I am pretty sure I didn't have any applications as it was brand new is there a way to track the iphone any other way? Most suggestions I've had is no use because you need your phone infront of me which I physically cannot do to use applications. I have a serial number?
I have an iPhone 3G, running 3.0.1, jailbroken with redsnow. I have SBSettings installed and obviously openSSH, amongst other things.Whenever I switch my phone on SSH and location services seem to switch themselves on. This particularly annoying as it then burns through my battery life, which is bad enough already, if I forget to switch them off.
Location services suddenly only works when apps like Maps are used - Otherwise the icon disappears from menu bar. Find my iPhone in iCloud sees the device as 'off'. Have rebooted iPhone4, re-inserted SIM card (which Location Services doesn't need), turned it on and off several times.
an iPhone 4S running iOS 5.1 confirm whether the iPhoto app shows up in Settings > Location Services? I'm sure it used to appear below iMovie, but I might be mistaken.

I'll be traveling to Europe in about to weeks.I would like to know if saving the locatioin for where pictures were taking would increase the bill for when I travel to Europe.
My iPhone 3GS is telling me location services are off. When I go into settings it says it is on, but it is not responding, i.e. I can't change it from on to off.
