If I don't get a US package, can I use my phone to call, text or surf the Internet at WiFi spots without incurring roaming charges (or any other charges)? When I go into GPS it does show the very general map of the area (major highways only), but if I do a zoom no street view, nothing...and it definitely won't search for anything (streets or driving direction). I have turned on A_GPS but it does not seem to help. I am wondering if it's because I am in North America and this phone is still not widely in use yet? I also have a incoming SMS time problem.

One reason why I was so excited about this phone was the Turn By Turn Navigation feature. No where does google say that the turn by turn feature is restricted to America.Lets shine some light and get this fixed. They now ship the phone to Canada and this feature should be available in Canada too.
