Apr 25, 2012What is the deal with animated GIFs via iMessages on the iPhone? Does it work? Is it supposed to? Are there any limitations? I tried sending an animated gif to a friend. Both of us are using an iPhone 4S running iOS 5.1. On my end, I see the animation playing on the iMessages app. On her end she just receives a still frame. Why?
I tried it two different ways. First I tried it by simply copying the image from Safari and pasting it into the message. Then I tried it by saving the image to my camera roll and adding it to the message that way. Neither worked. Both times I could see the animation on my end, but the recipient only saw a still image.

Feb 7, 2010There is no choice of call forwarding options in the N900. For example one can't forward all calls unconditionally to voicemail or another number and leave your phone on. This is the least expensive option when roaming if you want to leave your phone on, because it doesn't involve paying for two calls when a call is diverted to voicemail.
If you have call forwarding on, you can't stop it from forwarding calls received while busy speaking on another call. I prefer people to get a busy tone.
GSM standard manual forwarding codes (eg *#21#) produce an error message - incorrect number.

Jan 25, 2010I am considering purchasing a BB Tour 9630.I use the Notes field of MS Outlook contacts extensively.Some of my notes per contact are over 10,000 characters in length.My Palm Treo 700p allows me to view/edit these long notes.Can the notes field of the BB contact manager handle this many characters or will it be truncated to a shorter length? I am a small operation not using an Exchange Server.Also, do I need any other device software than what comes with the BB to sync with my PC's local Outlook PST?

When I go into GPS it does show the very general map of the area (major highways only), but if I do a zoom no street view, nothing...and it definitely won't search for anything (streets or driving direction). One reason why I was so excited about this phone was the Turn By Turn Navigation feature. No where does google say that the turn by turn feature is restricted to America.Lets shine some light and get this fixed.
