Jul 5, 2012I live in China and have a China iPhone 4S Model MD242CH currently subscribed to China Mobile. I will be going on vacation in Canada and I want to be able to take my iPhine 4S with me and change out my China Mobile MicroSIM card for a Canadian carriers MicroSIM card (Rogers Wireless, Fido Solutions, Bell Mobility, Telus Mobility, ???). It would also be nice if the 3G (or 2.5G GPRS/EDGE) works. What about my iPhone 4S WiFi ??

Anyone have any info on US packages or know if they would even work on my phone that's connected to a Canadian carrier (Telus)? I've heard that roaming fees are outrageous! If I don't get a US package, can I use my phone to call, text or surf the Internet at WiFi spots without incurring roaming charges (or any other charges)? I'm a bit new at this as I only recently bought my Iphone.
