My iPhone4S was stolen yesterday and I wiped the data off the phone using my iPad. Unfortunately this wipe of data seems to have beed synced via iCloud to my PC and iPad and I have lost all calendar and contacts details. Is there a way for me to recover this data?

iPhone gets stolen, thief takes out SIM card to prevent remote wipe (not sure that would even help), thief jailbreaks iPhone and accesses entire file system via SSH.I thought this was ironic, but would it help if people jailbreak their iPhones and change the root password to prevent a hacker from doing this first?My company is thinking of deploying iPhones and from all the articles I've read, the iPhone's security can be bypassed in comparison to the Blackberry just by having a paper clip.Not sure if anyone has ever given it too much thought but maybe we can start a discussion on how to protect the data on your iPhone in case it gets lost or stolen.Anyone else worried?

I'd recently went to a gathering and had my iPhone stolen. Unfortunately I didn't get around to starting an iCloud account so It's definitely not coming back (Fingers crossed though) I was hoping if there was some way of removing all my data to stop my thief from accessing it. Unfortunately I do not have a backup and I lost all my contacts and media files. Is there a way to rollback knowing that I did previously an upgrade for the software version over the air, so probably my data is stored somewhere on RIM servers.

I was using Blackberry Desktop software with my BB Curve 8530 and could not remember the password for my BB... I entered it many times unsuccessfully. I didn't notice that it started to proceed to wipe the phone! How/can I restore my data and contacts? I don't use BB Desktop Software much so I don't have a backup. After the update, I noticed that I have lost all of my contacts on the phone, so I plugged it back in to the computer and went with "Restore from backup", which was dated just a few hours prior to updating the firmware.
After it finished restoring, my contacts were all back but half of my apps are missing. I tried redownloading from the App Store as well as syncing from the computer, but the data (game saves, etc) are still missing. How do I get them back?

Over the weekend my Bold 9700 was stolen and I did not have it protected with a code. So now that all my contacts and such are out there I'm hoping there is a way I can get the memory wiped. I recently lost my iPhone.It was a first generation that I had managed to hold onto and keep working for years. I left it in the back of a cab and despite all my effort to relocate it, it appears it's gone for good.I had AT&T deactivate it 20 mins after I lost it. I also had the passcode feature active. AT&T has assured me that the combination of the two will pretty much render the phone a paper weight unless whoever found the phone restores it. I've never had to restore the phone, so one question I have is could whoever has my phone gain access to my data after restoring it? Like will iTunes back up the data for them and then allow them to download it again to the phone?Is my data safe? I work for a media organization and I had some very sensitive and valuable data on that phone. The kind of data I could lose my job over if a third party were to somehow access it. Not to mention the countless phone numbers and the huge log of text messages that contained sensitive personal information. Also, please spare me the ridicule of asking why I had so much important information on the phone.I've spent the last week beating myself up over it, and needless to say have learned my lesson. When I restored the phone to the 'most recent' back up, I lost ALL the data on my phone after Nov 20, 2011. All my texts, all the data about my baby that I have been keeping in a baby app - basically any app info. Even my camera roll reverted back to the way it was on Nov 20. (fortunately I had saved my pics to iphoto - so nothing really lost there)
I don't understand where all the info went when I backed up RIGHT before I went to the apple store.
I have looked on my computer and found the back up file, but I don't know what to do with the info in there. Oddly, I can't find a back up for 4/2/12 - the day I did the back up, but there are several back ups in March.. which would be better than the NOV back up.

I have reformated my computer , installed iTunes again, i connected my iPhone 4 to iTunes and synced my iphone. Because my iphone was having problems, i need to restore it to the original settings.
I connected my iPhone to iTunes, i hit the restore button, then after restore was done, i restored the backup that i have done, but i have lost all my songs, apps, videos, and tones that i have both from iTunes. Only the photos and contacts and settings ware restored. What can i do to restore my iphone with all my data?
