Unfortunately I didn't get around to starting an iCloud account so It's definitely not coming back (Fingers crossed though) I was hoping if there was some way of removing all my data to stop my thief from accessing it. The app I have problem with is Find My Friends. I updated my phone (iphone 4) just a week ago to the newest version. After the update, Find My Friends worked as usual. But just 2 days ago when I was trying to launch the app and typed in my password, the app suddenly quit. Is there a way to delete the diagnostics and usage data from the iPhone 4S? If so, I don't see it. Seems to me that if these diagnostics and crash logs just continue loading without being deleted, they'd eventually eat up memory? I have it set to NOT automatically send to Apple, since that probably uses up more battery power. Even after sync the iPhone with the iTunes, the logs are still there!

I admit that I am having the hardest time learning how to use this phone and the user's guide is useless. My phone would not let me to a text today because I have too much stored data. I don't get it. I made about 4 texts since I got the phone and my contact list has about 20 contacts. Clearly something is downloading and saving, but I can't even find out how to delete old texts? I can't tell what application I actually need to be working or on, and there's a ton of them that I can't figure out what they do. From what I can tell, the app that is taking up the most internal space is MotoNav at 17.73 MB (= 17.49 MB of data and 248 KB of app). My trial period has already expired though it appears I can still use it now (I'm assuming with its existing maps).I've read it's hard to remove MotoNav from the phone because it's a system app. That's fine but what happens if I just want to delete all the data from this app? Is that ok? Are there any long term ramifications to do that? What happens if say, I chose to buy an activation key for it at a later date? Will I be able to redownload all that data (the maps, etc) again?

I have a Blackberry Curve 8330. Yesterday the buttons stopped working. I could use the phone only through the Bluetooth. Based on the information from this forum I tried a number of hard resets and updated the OS. Neither worked. Verizon is exchanging the phone, but I don't want to send the phone back with all of my info on it. I have gone through the steps here - [URL] .... however i am unable to switch the phone off completelly - only a soft restart using the power and volume up key - the phone then restarts before i can go to step 4 where i connect the usb holding the volume down button. By that time the phone has restarted.

Allowing the phone to completely run out of battery is not an option as the above requires at least 80% battery even when plugged in.

This needs to be done, occasionally, in order to freshly repopulate the contacts, and not end up with duplicates in the phone.
