I have a CURVE 8520.The device is wiped and I lost all my data. I have installed BB Protect but there are no backup files, how can I find the old backup files from this software BB Protect.

I didn't notice that it started to proceed to wipe the phone! How/can I restore my data and contacts? I don't use BB Desktop Software much so I don't have a backup. I really want my contacts... are they linked to my email (hotmail) account at all so that when I setup my phone my contacts will be recovered?

Ok, i have updated my phone so many times and nothing has ever gone wrong, i have always backed up my files in the "Backup and Restore" App and there has never been a problem. I have just updated my phone with latest update and it has wiped my Apps including the "Backup and Restore" app! (My files are always sent to my memory card with no problem) Now i cannot restore any of my files and its really F***ed me off, The Xperia 10 has to be the faultiest phone i have ever had, even when the phone is locked and in my pocket it manages to change my settings and forwards messages to random people!

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Blackberry Bold 9900 with IMEI 35856604xxxxxx, I did an update for the software version 7.1.0 Bundle 2061 however I entered the password 5 times due to a non functional button on my keyboard and all data was wiped. Unfortunately I do not have a backup and I lost all my contacts and media files. Is there a way to rollback knowing that I did previously an upgrade for the software version over the air, so probably my data is stored somewhere on RIM servers.
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo I've just got around to updating my 9360 to what I think is 7.1 After I deleted the unused languages and created space for it, the phone started a data back up But when it got to 15% it just stopped and didn't move, I left it all evening (so about 4hrs) and still nothing, so I turned it off and took the battery out. I put it back in again and the back up started again, but this time it got to 8% and stopped , I left it over night but nothing. Because the phone is rendered useless until this is finished. I would like to import only the Contact List contained in that back up data from the stolen device to a new Curve 8520. However I do not see any method to do that other than to "Import Files" to the new Curve from the backup data via Desk Top Manager from PC. View 4 Replies View RelatedI reflashed all the factory images to my Nexus 6P (except userdata), and then restored a TWRP backup of the data partition. This worked, my phone boots up and obviously has my installed apps, etc. But... on the Nexus 6P when you restart the phone you have to enter your lock pattern or PIN. My phone was previously configured with a pattern. It seems the TWRP data backup didn't backup the lock pattern, because it doesn't recognize my pattern.
My fingerprint is recognized, but on the Nexus 6P you still have to enter the lock pattern or PIN when you first reboot. So, I have no way to get into the phone. I tried setting a new lock screen password with Android Device Manager, but it doesn't work. I still get the screen asking for the lock pattern. Is there any way I can get into my phone without blowing away all the data?
The part on my BB Curve 8330 where you charge/sync it is loose and starting to fall out. I'm unable to charge/sync my phone anymore. Is there a way I can save all the information on my phone without syncing it?? I don't even remember the last time I did it, so I know there's a lot of new info on my phone. Also, does anyone know if this is covered under the Verizon Warranty?? I would appreciate any help ya'll could offer me! Thanks so much!!!
View 10 Replies View RelatedI have been religiously doing auto-backup on to a remote hard drive. But now I cannot seem to access any of those files at all. It keeps saying I have no administrative permission to view the files. Even when copied to my desktop, I can't use them to restore.The issue that started this all is that I switched computers. And every time I sync, the desktop program wants to add or delete about 1200 past calendar items. I have been reticent to allow the sync to continue because I did not want to lose data, but today I said, "what the hell" and let it continue. It deleted everything from BOTH the handheld and computer prior to May, when I started using the new computer. So when I try to reinstall the older backup file to retrieve the lost data, now the program won't let me access the files I saved so religiously.
