i got a blackberry Curve 9300 there are some problems with it.i can't read my memory card..so i want to send the phone in.now i wanted to take a back-up they asked my password, i didn't have any.sudenly after few try's, i thought it was alright.i got a white screen and after i take a back-up with nothing in.i've seen he's got wiped.nothing's there, all my contact's, emails, notice's,everything i've lost.

View 7 Replies View Relatedi own a 4 and half month old curve 9300, it came with os 5, in starting its back was around 15 to 20 hours . but last month i upgarded to os 6 its wonderful, my phone works smoothly on os 6 but my main problem is with battery back up which is reduced to 8 to 12 hours..my normal use of phone:-*i usualy recieve 10 to 15 mails daily *send 10 mails*facebook app running all time with 30 min of use..*facebook messanger running all time with occasionaly use..*2 hours chat on gtalk app and bbm*2 to 4 hour web browsing *100 txt message daily..*20 to 40 minutes of calling* network mode 2g n 3g*os version 6 bundle 2475* all apps are latest versions*gps off*wifi off*bluetooth off*free memory 55 mbback light 10€ and for 10 seconds only.. questions1 what is normal back up of a bb 93002 is my bb's back up is normal3 if not then what should i do4 is any batteries with good backup for my bb?

View 2 Replies View RelatedOk, i have updated my phone so many times and nothing has ever gone wrong, i have always backed up my files in the "Backup and Restore" App and there has never been a problem. I have just updated my phone with latest update and it has wiped my Apps including the "Backup and Restore" app! (My files are always sent to my memory card with no problem) Now i cannot restore any of my files and its really F***ed me off, The Xperia 10 has to be the faultiest phone i have ever had, even when the phone is locked and in my pocket it manages to change my settings and forwards messages to random people!

The problem was I needed my contacts and I had very very valuble photos on there that I can't have back now I also bought stacks of ring tones and now they are gone too so I wasted money. View 2 Replies View RelatedMy daughter forgot her password (repeatedly) and the handset has now been wiped. It's a Curve 8520 and I've looked on-line for a way to re-install but it's not working. I've downloaded the BB desktop software and the OS but when I plugged the handset in via USB it's not recognised by anything. Is there anyway to do anything to it at home or will I have to 'bite the bullet' and take it somewhere to be repaired? Also if so where would I take it?

I uploaded an update of the Facebook App, now all of my entries are gone in the calendar that were in sync with my gmail address. I have the 8350 model and prior to this all calendar entries were saved to my email for gmail- this gmail option has disappeared in the CICAL drop down the only option available is Facebook. I tried to uninstall the Facebook App however that leaves no option for Default Service for the calendar, so the option for default service for my calendar is completely removed.How can I go back to the original settings for my calendar and is it possible to retrieve prior/future entries from the now blank calendar?

With this set-up she has a password lock for the screen, which works fine and she knows exactly what she's doing with. Then about four weeks down the line she tells me she woke up one morning, typed in her password but was told it was wrong and she had 9 attempts left. After looking more closely at it, it was actually asking for a device password - which neither my girlfriend nor me has ever set up on the Blackberry.After doing some research the first time, we tried everything - connecting it to device manager, inputting letters instead of numbers, etc. but eventually had to wipe the phone.So then after setting the phone up for a second time straight after, this morning she tells me the same thing has happened again and she's had to wipe her phone.

After deleting the e mail account, her contact list stayed (all1700 of them) swamping my contacts.I read on these forums that using RSET in Address Book Options would remove the list. It did but also removed all my contacts. There is no back up on a PC or on my SIM. I can't even add contacts manually as they refuse to save. how to get my contacts back or at least to allow them to be re-input manually?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI bought a Sprint 8330 from a guy on Craigslist, and it worked fine until my girlfriend freaking wiped my phone trying to guess my password. So I got on crackberry and followed the instructions from Lecture 12 of the BB 101 and got it up and running again. Or so I thought.. Now, I have no browser icon whatsoever, and all of my MMS options are gone. I believe the phone had OS4.3 before because now all of my home screen stuff looks different along with my inbox. I just wanna have my MMS and Internet back. Should I go back to 4.3? Or is this something really easy that I just don't know because I'm a first time BB user? Help pls?
Also! I had the phone flashed over to work with Cricket Mobile. I doubt that has anything to do with it though considering my MMS and internet still worked then.

I bought the device a month ago and had a brand new battery installed in no later than yesterday.Battery life is about 3 to 5 hours at the very best, whilst I am not using any specific 3rd party application.In addition, the "clock" apprears on a very frequent basis, slowing the system dramatically.I do not have any files saved on the media card ... Wi-fi has been disabled already as have Bluetooth. LAt, connection the mobile network is fine so I do not believe it has to do with the device desperately seeking connection.PS: I am based in France with SFR being my provider.

However,Things I have tried so far: I have used the desktop software's upgrade function to upgrade but every time I get the message that, there is no upgrade available. I also downloaded my carrier (MTN - South Africa) specific software the "9300M_PBr6.0.0_rel1879_PL6.6.0.124_A6.0.0.448" file and installed it onto my computer. I then connected my BB and tried to upgrade but was still unsuccessful.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've a 9300 on T-Mobile UK with BB Worldwide booster, which I thought was for email. At the top right is "3G BB (icon)". I think the BB refers to the BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS)..I'm in France and have used by BB to connect to the internet directly and also using it as a 3G modem via Desktop Software to my netbook. After downloading several MBs of data, I am relieved to find that although all the MBs of data appear on my account, using Orange france, there is not a single charge for the data. I am assuming that using the BIS also includes www data as well as email.
There are also some BlackBerry.net entries - which I assume are for the GPS maps etc.
I bought a blackberry curve 9300 4 days ago and today it fully ran out of charge. I put it on charge and now it won't charge or switch on. If I take the battery out and put it back in and then put it on charge, a red light comes on for about 10-15 seconds and then nothing else happens. Ive only had it 4 days and this has never happened before.

View 2 Replies View Relatedmy b.b 9300 has been switching off on its own for the past week and then reloading. today, it did it again, got half way across and then the screen turned white. it has now gone into squared off bits with a black splodge with green edging around the splodge. what is it and how will the shop react to me taking it back. it does look like it has been dropped but, i know it hasnt. It this a regular problem with the 9300's?
