IPhone :: Can't Get Hyphen To Work On Keyboard
Jun 16, 2012I'm trying to type 123-4 and can't get the hyphen to work on the keyboard. What am I missing?

IPhone :: 4 Keyboard Doesn't Work On Vertical
Apr 23, 2012Have updated the firmware version a few days ago. It was running on 4.X(?) and updated to 5.1.
2 days ago, que screen misunderstood some touchs, and yesterday the first row of the keyboard, when in vertical orientation, just stop working.
Had to restore, in order to access the phone, once I couldn't type the password (althogh all keys worked well on emergency call).
Now, keyboard is fully functional in horizontal orientation, but the first row doesn't work on vertical.
More information: the screen has been replaced and it has emoji installed.

Jan 25, 2010My Curve 8900 is less than 6 months old, and suddenly the keyboad will not work, so I cannot make/receive calls, and although the trackball works, it will not "click" to unlock it. Seems to be an intermittent fault. As I own the Blackberry (it is not bought through a service provider), I tried to contact Blackberry customer services UK, who seem to be reluctant to deal with consumers. My service provder, O2 were much more helpful. How can I get a replacement/repair under warranty, or fix the problem?

Sep 3, 2011i woke up to my blackberry curve 3g not turning on, i plugged it into the charger then unpluged it and the screen was on. The trackpad and the keyboard was not working at all. i have tried taking the back out whilst the phone is on, however this worked once and has not worked since.

Jul 28, 2011My BB Torch keyboard suddenly stopped working and cannot even input the password to unblock. I found out after several trials (don't ask me how many) that if I slided open and closed 2 times and then I press twice the "alt" button the keyboard starts working. Also the side button that I had for the camera is not working. Digital keyboard works fine. When the keyboard does not work, the outside keys (call, back, BB, touch pad, hang up) do not work either..

Jul 3, 2010I have owned 2 Apple phones and have jumped ship to Android and to Sony, having purchased a Z5 Premium. My issue is this: I have read several articles where it explains in full how to make keyboard shortcuts (for like your address for example) and I have followed the instructions to a "T". It doesn't work. I go into settings->Language & Input->Personal Dictionary->English(Canada){I've also tried it using the US setting}->add->type a word->shortcut. When I then go and try to use my shortcut in email, text or notepad, nothing works!

Aug 26, 2011I am the owner of a Blackberry Torch, and all of a sudden today my keyboard and buttons ( back, red, green, and the blackberry button) won't work! The only way for me to do things on my Blackberry is if I pull the battery, put it back in, wait for it to load, then enter my password ( using the on screen keyboard) then click one app. And once I am done with that one app, I click my red button, and nothing happens same if I click the back button!

Jun 22, 2011Just bought the nokia E7. Well had little problems with it but have been solving them bit by bit.The problem that I haven't solved yet is that when locking the phone and creating the password to unlock it, it doesn't seem to work.
I touch the power button to lock and it locks. A screen with number appears so that I can put the password and selecting any number or even pressing cancel unlocks the phone.

Dec 17, 2015I just got my Lumia 950 Dual Sim (2 days back) and so far I loved the features and appearance. However, I am getting frustrated with the continuous reboots and on-screen keyboard issues.
When I am trying to type in whats app or Skype (I havent tested other apps yet), the keyboard hangs and then it goes down. I have to keep clicking on the message space and then after a while either it comes up works for sometime and goes down again (unresponsive) or the phone gets restarted. I need to say that I am a bit frustrated with this as this is happening with a frequency of less than 2 minutes. I tried the basic troubleshooting steps of soft reset (volume down + power), but still same.

Feb 26, 2012I just got this phone off Amazon market place, and when I flip the phone to the left to use the qwerty keyboard, the letter 'E' does not work correctly, sometimes it does work but other's it just spams my phone with the letters next to it (W and R). The thing which confuses me is when I go to use a menu on the same place it works fine, just not on the qwerty keyboard, also when I turn the phone to the right to use the qwerty keyboard on that side it seems to work fine.
