Jan 18, 2012I recently got an HTC sensation. Almost immediately after i bought the phone I starting having problems about losing of signal. Some times when i turn on the phone it says, "Signal lost, Limited service", I can't confirm that it says that on phones with english settings, since mine is on swedish settings, but I think that is what it says in english. Well I'm getting kind of tired of this now since it's happening pretty often. Sometimes it can be fixed by turning the device of and on and removing the SD card and then re enter it a couple of times.

For Your information, other brand phone with the same Sim card works proper with stable connection, in the same place and time. After investigation, turn GSM only and cell operator (Kyivstar UA) selected manually, my phone has little bit better network registration, but still lose network sometimes for no reason. Firmware updated to last version, but no changes for the above issue.

Over the course of a minute, the bars decrease until it says "searching" and finally "no service"Â .If you let the phone sit by itself for a few minutes and then pick it up again, the signal bars are back. But then they dwindle away again. You can make a call if you dial it fast enough (before the signal bars disappear).People have noted that they called me and it did not ring or go through.Â
What I've tried: Contacted T-mobile several times. They assure their network is working fine. Others do not seem to have coverage problems in the same area.Â

Aug 23, 2010I have touch screen issue with my Nokia 5800 after installing new 51.0.006 version.After instaling new FW system screen frequently goes black and strats again after 7-10 seconds. Ussually it happens when accessing my TXT messages or writing. I also formated memory card and cleard memory of the phone and installed new FW again but problem remains. When problem occures my phone screen goes black and comes back quickly. Network signal is also lost in the process. Phone has't been dropped when issue occured nor badly used. On my old FW 30 everything was working fine and I did not have this issue?

Mar 15, 2010I live in a poor reception area on the Rogers network. I've noticed that when I go into the basement the phone drops a signal pretty quickly. I am okay with this and is expected. My issue is when I get back on to the main floor, the phone does not pick up a signal again for a long time. Sometimes even toggling airplane mode doesn't work. My wife's iPhone does the same thing.
Anybody else having this problem?

One was the fact I couldn't play Facebook videos over 3G or 4G without getting the unknown error message which I've finally solved by downloading and enabling psiphon VPN connection mode! The other is when I enable 4G I can have it on for like 30 minutes after that my phone tends to lose all signal; meaning no texts or calls and no Internet based activity (unless on WiFi) until a restart of the phone which tends to solve the problem.

It will have 2-3 bars and show 4g but every night and randomly through the day I will look and there is no signal with the circle and line through it. I have to power the phone off and back on to regain. I went to AT&T on Thursday and got a new SIM as suggested. I have only had the phone since Wednesday. I have 2 other Atrix ( not 2's ) in the house and they have no issues.

Mar 18, 2012Firstly, I want to state how extremely impressed I am with the Amaze, both in its construction quality, its wonderful screen, very good normal use battery life, and its generally sophisticated and flawless operation. I am very satisfied with my choice.One of the very few problems I have had, is that occasionally, whilst still in city zones with good service, the phone will lose cellular signal, then run the battery flat much more rapidly than usual whilst trying to re-establish service. My first indication of the problem is when I find the phone dead, when it should still have say 80% charge. Remedy is to switch off & pull battery
Has anyone had similar experience?I recommend an audible warning when cellular service is lost, so that user can take remedial action before battery goes flat, and so that important incoming calls are not lost. This should be an easily programmable feature for next update.

Jun 12, 2012I bought a factory unlocked IPhone 4s (Model MD234LL and Serial DNPGYCCWDT9Y) from US and after the software upgrade 5.1.1 (9B206) I find that the device looses signal strength and does not connect to Internet 3G or on other occasions Internet connections drops. Sometimes I have "No service" that also comes up. Even making phone calls is difficult and during calls the conversation is dropped and i have to call back sometimes. I also use a BlackBerry and have a connection from same service provider but my BlackBerry shows better Internet browsing capabilities than the iPhone. When the iPhone shows no service my BlackBerry has signal strength.
