In mobility many iphone5s, when change network ( for example from 3g to edge ) lost signal during the telephone call. is it possible resolve the problem only if you turn off data line in the mobile phone.

For Your information, other brand phone with the same Sim card works proper with stable connection, in the same place and time. After investigation, turn GSM only and cell operator (Kyivstar UA) selected manually, my phone has little bit better network registration, but still lose network sometimes for no reason. Firmware updated to last version, but no changes for the above issue.

Ussually it happens when accessing my TXT messages or writing. I also formated memory card and cleard memory of the phone and installed new FW again but problem remains. When problem occures my phone screen goes black and comes back quickly. Network signal is also lost in the process. Phone has't been dropped when issue occured nor badly used. On my old FW 30 everything was working fine and I did not have this issue?
View 8 Replies View RelatedI live in a poor reception area on the Rogers network. I've noticed that when I go into the basement the phone drops a signal pretty quickly. I am okay with this and is expected. My issue is when I get back on to the main floor, the phone does not pick up a signal again for a long time. Sometimes even toggling airplane mode doesn't work. My wife's iPhone does the same thing.
Anybody else having this problem?
What do these Icons represent or mean, and the meaning when they change Colors from White to Blue (Status Icons). There was a GB 2.3.4 User Manual Posted on Moto's site, Unfortunately no information was included about these Items. What does it mean when all three are blue, Including the H+ icon having arrows beneath it at the same time? After the update, I noticed that I have lost all of my contacts on the phone, so I plugged it back in to the computer and went with "Restore from backup", which was dated just a few hours prior to updating the firmware.
After it finished restoring, my contacts were all back but half of my apps are missing. I tried redownloading from the App Store as well as syncing from the computer, but the data (game saves, etc) are still missing. How do I get them back?

I bought a factory unlocked IPhone 4s (Model MD234LL and Serial DNPGYCCWDT9Y) from US and after the software upgrade 5.1.1 (9B206) I find that the device looses signal strength and does not connect to Internet 3G or on other occasions Internet connections drops. Sometimes I have "No service" that also comes up. Even making phone calls is difficult and during calls the conversation is dropped and i have to call back sometimes. I also use a BlackBerry and have a connection from same service provider but my BlackBerry shows better Internet browsing capabilities than the iPhone. When the iPhone shows no service my BlackBerry has signal strength.

But every few minutes or so I get the alert saying that I "Cannot activate cellular data network - You are not subscribed to a cellular data service", and it's really annoying because it lights up my iPhone all the time and kills my battery. It's also really annoying - it comes up whenever I'm typing a message or playing a game; literally when I do ANYTHING on my phone. I do not have a data plan, but I have used 'unlockit.co.nz' to install a Fake APN to my iPhone to block data. Rogers has also given me a data block. This has been going on ever since I bought the phone, I thought installing a Fake APN would stop it but I guess not. I can't really restore since I have a lot of stuff on this iPhone already.. but if that's the only option then I will be forced to. I used to have an unlocked Fido 3G (about 2 months ago) without data and it never gave me this alert, do you think it has something to do with my 3GS being locked to Rogers?
This phone is a jailbroken iPhone 3GS (model MC143C) running version 3.1.3 (7E18) and locked to the "Rogers 5.0" network. If it helps the modem firmware is 05.12.01.if there are no real solutions, I still have 2 months left on my warranty. Would Apple fix it or give me a new one if I un-jailbreak it?

A while ago I remember having to restart my phone because it would take FOREVER to re-connect to the network after going through a tunnel on transit, if it even reconnected. One day after doing that I began receiving this message: And I get it all the time. Probably a minimum of 3 times a day. I understand that on occasion I will lose my connection, and it was never a big deal, however now that I get the pop up in front of whatever I'm doing it really bugs me. Does anyone else get this? View 4 Replies View RelatedI am having an awful time loosing cellular data - can't send or receive text messages, use Safari or Find my Friends etc. I came into the forums looking for help and found posts about the personal hotspot constantly spinning. I looked at mine and it was too. I did a hard reset and it finally stopped. Immediately I got connectivity back. I don't know if that is causing my loosing internet or not but it seems coincidence that when it stopped spinning I got it back.Simply going into and out of airplane mode and toggling cellular data on and off never restores connectivity. Often it will restore when I leave the building. But I have 3-4 bars of signal and 4G listed as available when I'm inside.Also, something is chewing up my battery. I was at 100% when I left the house at 8 am and at 65% at 10 am with the phone sitting on the desk doing nothing.

i have problem with my E72 and gps signal. Before it worked ok, now i dont know what is the problem. It looses "fix" every few seconds even in the open sky. I switch phone off and on.
