May 8, 2012I upgraded my iphone from 5.1 to 5.1.1 sw version today and now my phone does not have signal.

May 7, 2012bug when my phone is idle it goes to no signal mode and 95% i have to get in arguments with my parents and my friends regarding why is my phone switched off .i am very much tired of all this so is there anyway i can downgrade to previous build .The DEVs should really fix this issue moreover Important calls matters to me the most and if the Mobile dosent work
1)Signal lost bug
2)Camera bug (constantly the camera tries to focus on an object but cant focus properly also decrese in pic qualty)
3)Battery drains faster than previous ICS build
4)Notification Bug

Oct 2, 2011I've had this twice now where I couldn't get a GPS signal. This never happened on my Droid 1, but has happened twice in less than 30 days (two different phones - since I replaced the first one when this happened). This has been in 2 completely different locations.

Jan 18, 2012I recently got an HTC sensation. Almost immediately after i bought the phone I starting having problems about losing of signal. Some times when i turn on the phone it says, "Signal lost, Limited service", I can't confirm that it says that on phones with english settings, since mine is on swedish settings, but I think that is what it says in english. Well I'm getting kind of tired of this now since it's happening pretty often. Sometimes it can be fixed by turning the device of and on and removing the SD card and then re enter it a couple of times.

For Your information, other brand phone with the same Sim card works proper with stable connection, in the same place and time. After investigation, turn GSM only and cell operator (Kyivstar UA) selected manually, my phone has little bit better network registration, but still lose network sometimes for no reason. Firmware updated to last version, but no changes for the above issue.

Mar 31, 2012On a run today I went down a spiral ramp under a bridge and lost my gps signal several times. I was wearing a footpod. I noticed my pace measurement slowed down from a 6 min mile to about 18 min/mi.
1st question...since I had a paired footpod shouldn't it have taken over to make the pace measurement more accurate in situations exactly like this?
2nd question... assuming the footpod was taking over, how accurate is it since there seems to be no way to calibrate the actual footpod. Is the data from the footpod constantly being taken into account and then integrated back into my final workout stats?

May 18, 2012after i updated my iphone 4s to the new ios update version 5.1.1 i noticed my signal strength was weak.. like by three bars.. now i cant use data half the places i go, i called at&t and they reset the network stuff for me. still nothing. is there a way to drop back down one step? its obviously a software issue but we all know it takes a while for this stuff to get fixed and i kinda need my phone because its the only one i have. oddly enough the voice signal seems to be ok dispite the fact theres one bar.

Aug 23, 2010I have touch screen issue with my Nokia 5800 after installing new 51.0.006 version.After instaling new FW system screen frequently goes black and strats again after 7-10 seconds. Ussually it happens when accessing my TXT messages or writing. I also formated memory card and cleard memory of the phone and installed new FW again but problem remains. When problem occures my phone screen goes black and comes back quickly. Network signal is also lost in the process. Phone has't been dropped when issue occured nor badly used. On my old FW 30 everything was working fine and I did not have this issue?

Mar 15, 2010I live in a poor reception area on the Rogers network. I've noticed that when I go into the basement the phone drops a signal pretty quickly. I am okay with this and is expected. My issue is when I get back on to the main floor, the phone does not pick up a signal again for a long time. Sometimes even toggling airplane mode doesn't work. My wife's iPhone does the same thing.
Anybody else having this problem?

May 6, 2012I backed up to itunes before update, but last known update showing in itunes is 2010?I had just updated itunes to latest software, if this would make any difference!After the restore has completed, if i open phone app and go onto favourites, the names show for a second and then it goes back to showing numbers only.
Contact list only shows a blank( well.... lined) sheet, as opposed to the alphbetical list on the R/H side. I didn't have icloud, so not backed up to there!!
Also, there is not a "contact groups" icon in the top right of contacts, as suggested on other answers for this problem.
