My brand new Z3 Dual keep losing signal when enabling two SIMs at the same time, this will not happen if I disable one SIM and used the other one only which defies the purpose of using a DUAL SIM cell phone....

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've updated to the latest baseband and main firmware and have tried a software repair but if I leave the phone on WDCMA (preferred)/GSM and leave it in work bag I find that when I check later Time Without Signal goes to 70% or more, GSM is better than 3G round here but what is going on, if I fix it to one or the other the figure is much less.

View 10 Replies View RelatedI am an avid sony fan and I really love my xperia z2 except that I can't use the phone for its main purpose: to text or call or contact someone. It often says 'no service' if not 'emergency calls only'. On the first week, it's not that worst but now almost anywhere I can't contact, except when.in very high open places. My friends have signal bars whereas I have none. I tried changing sim and even factory data reset (as told by the shop) but I don't think my problem was solved.

My XPERIA Active (ST17I) lose connection to cell operator network, very often. For Your information, other brand phone with the same Sim card works proper with stable connection, in the same place and time. After investigation, turn GSM only and cell operator (Kyivstar UA) selected manually, my phone has little bit better network registration, but still lose network sometimes for no reason. Firmware updated to last version, but no changes for the above issue.

I have the s6 edge and I have really weak signal on 3g most of the time i only have 2 bars or only 1 bar or even none at times. On 2g i have full bars. But data speed and call quality arent really good on 2g....

I recently got an HTC sensation. Almost immediately after i bought the phone I starting having problems about losing of signal. Some times when i turn on the phone it says, "Signal lost, Limited service", I can't confirm that it says that on phones with english settings, since mine is on swedish settings, but I think that is what it says in english. Well I'm getting kind of tired of this now since it's happening pretty often. Sometimes it can be fixed by turning the device of and on and removing the SD card and then re enter it a couple of times.

Iv got blackberry 8520 with vodaphone. It suddenly has stopped getting signal most of the time in the house. I know its not sim as sim works fine in other handsets and no prob with handset and service provider say its a blackberry problem so won't help. Iv looked under manage connections and doesn't appear to be option for changing to 3g as service provider suggested.

View 3 Replies View RelatedOn a run today I went down a spiral ramp under a bridge and lost my gps signal several times. I was wearing a footpod. I noticed my pace measurement slowed down from a 6 min mile to about 18 min/mi.
1st question...since I had a paired footpod shouldn't it have taken over to make the pace measurement more accurate in situations exactly like this?
2nd question... assuming the footpod was taking over, how accurate is it since there seems to be no way to calibrate the actual footpod. Is the data from the footpod constantly being taken into account and then integrated back into my final workout stats?
I installed some of the BB upgrades today and now all my icons at the top of my screen have disappeared. If I take out my battery and restart my phone they appear and after awhile they disappear. I am referring to the signal, battery time icons at top of the screen.

Ussually it happens when accessing my TXT messages or writing. I also formated memory card and cleard memory of the phone and installed new FW again but problem remains. When problem occures my phone screen goes black and comes back quickly. Network signal is also lost in the process. Phone has't been dropped when issue occured nor badly used. On my old FW 30 everything was working fine and I did not have this issue?

I work out in the middle of nowhere quite often, where phone signal is either very weak, or non-existent. (I am with Orange BTW). The problem seems to be that when I have been out of signal range for a while, (shortest period so far about 30 mins), and I come back into range, my BB doesn't automatically pick the signal up. The only way that I know to re-gain the signal, is to turn the phone off (red button not battery re-boot!) and back on again. The phone then finds the signal and everything is normal again......that is until I go out of range again! Is there a shortcut to re capture the mobile signal rather than off/on?
