I have the s6 edge and I have really weak signal on 3g most of the time i only have 2 bars or only 1 bar or even none at times. On 2g i have full bars. But data speed and call quality arent really good on 2g....
View 4 RepliesI've updated to the latest baseband and main firmware and have tried a software repair but if I leave the phone on WDCMA (preferred)/GSM and leave it in work bag I find that when I check later Time Without Signal goes to 70% or more, GSM is better than 3G round here but what is going on, if I fix it to one or the other the figure is much less.

It often says 'no service' if not 'emergency calls only'. On the first week, it's not that worst but now almost anywhere I can't contact, except when.in very high open places. My friends have signal bars whereas I have none. I tried changing sim and even factory data reset (as told by the shop) but I don't think my problem was solved.

Iv got blackberry 8520 with vodaphone. It suddenly has stopped getting signal most of the time in the house. I know its not sim as sim works fine in other handsets and no prob with handset and service provider say its a blackberry problem so won't help. Iv looked under manage connections and doesn't appear to be option for changing to 3g as service provider suggested.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI work out in the middle of nowhere quite often, where phone signal is either very weak, or non-existent. (I am with Orange BTW). The problem seems to be that when I have been out of signal range for a while, (shortest period so far about 30 mins), and I come back into range, my BB doesn't automatically pick the signal up. The only way that I know to re-gain the signal, is to turn the phone off (red button not battery re-boot!) and back on again. The phone then finds the signal and everything is normal again......that is until I go out of range again! Is there a shortcut to re capture the mobile signal rather than off/on?

Yesterday i let the battery drain all the way out so that i could completely cycle through. It ended up takeing a little over 3 hours to fully charge again. I tried factory reset, clear cache and data, and it comes back. But always, the camera is working after pressing Clear all in Smart Manager. If I simply kill the processes using the standard task manager, the camera shows the same error.
if it's an hardware problem, as I read online, why works after clean all operation? I have stock ROM, without root or special app(just fb, dropbox installed)

Sent it back. I hooked it back up. Starting using it and now i cant get 4g anymore. It will come on then go out and have a X on signal bar. Then i cant do anything no calls no text no nothing. Stock roms and custom roms.Since doing so, I have a really awful signal and quite often no signal at all.Could I have done something to cause this or is it probably just a coincidence?I am with 3 uk.I can't go out seeing if it improves in other areas as I am currently ill. View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm having some really annoying issue with my phone, when I select the Network Mode to GSM/WCDMA (auto connect) it is working perfectly fine but as soon as I change to LTE/GSM/WCDMA (auto connect) I lost 75% of my signal.
Of course without activating LTE I cannot access the 4G Network which is a bit annoying.
I also tried to flash the latest modem for my phone g920i but it didn't solve the problem.
My brand new Galaxy S6, with the most up to date drivers, appears to randomly drop my data connection. After several restarts and updates to the OS, still seems to randomly occur. I know it isn't the network because I actually have better signal than I did with my S4 on Tmobile and I never dropped calls with that phone. This issue I think is software related I think. I did read somewhere on the forums that on verizon people said it was the VoLTE (HD calling) if so that sucks because I love HD calling.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI live in a poor reception area on the Rogers network. I've noticed that when I go into the basement the phone drops a signal pretty quickly. I am okay with this and is expected. My issue is when I get back on to the main floor, the phone does not pick up a signal again for a long time. Sometimes even toggling airplane mode doesn't work. My wife's iPhone does the same thing.

What does it mean when all three are blue, Including the H+ icon having arrows beneath it at the same time? View 15 Replies View RelatedSo i updated a few days ago to 5.1.1 Sprint service! A couple differences/ problems are: #1 Seems to me my data signal isnt good. It shows the LTE signal but when im surfing the next or even on ebay seems to just have the searching circle. then maybe a min or so later it will go. Ill surf again and data will just stop. It seems the data isn't communicating with the phone intermittently
#2 My text sending is way way slow now. Before update it would send pretty much within second of me hitting send. Now it displays the sending for a good 30 seconds! Sometimes even longer.
I have restarted multiple times/ update PRL/ Updated profile multiple times.
I get a poor signal indoors at home - on Orange and it's always been the case. I spoke to their customer services and was told to switch the phone from auto select for Network Mode to GSM only. My choices are GSM only, WCDMA only or Auto.
True, having done so, the signal strength seems better though not amazing but, ordinarily, I get then just a "G" for data. I found that switching to WCDMA only, data goes to 3G or even H and sometime H+ but I nearly always lose the standard signal.
I dont understand the difference between GSM and WCDMA nor whether the results I see when choosing each are to be expected or not. I'd welcome any information from those of you who know more about these things than I do.
i went to replace the cracked screen on an s2, got all the backing of, and started to get the front screen of, and ended up splitting the LCD.so got a front screen with LCD, digitizer, ear peace, use little wise which Im guessing is something to do with the signal. put it all together, and turned phone on, and had no signal at all.
