since quite some time I get a wrong GPS signal in my weather app, Google Maps and Nokia Here its sometimes like 20km(like 15 miles?) off my current position. I deactivated Wlan and mobile network and let GPS on.
View 1 RepliesI downloaded a 3rd party weather app, removed the default Samsung weather widget from my home page, and added the 3rd party widget to my home page. As it turns out, the 3rd party app was buggy, so I removed it. I want to re-add the default S6 Edge weather widget to my home screen, but I can't find it.
I'm using Nova on ATT BTW. It seems that the widgets visible using Nova are slightly different from the widgets available using Touchwiz. How to re-add the default S6 edge weather widget?
On my s5 in the top left corner the temp icon was there all the time. I could pull it down and touch to get the full weather if I wanted.

I cant get it to display on the lock screen nor as a widget on the home screen! I have a feeling i disabled summit else that needs to be enabled again for it to work??
View 3 Replies View RelatedFor some reason, I cannot get the weather to show up on the edge screen along with the time and date.
What I've tried:
* Going to Settings > Edge Screen > Information Stream (switched to on) > Weather (with Edge screen switched to "On")
* Going to the Weather Widget > More > Settings > Edge Screen set to on and Use Current Location set to on as well.
The odd thing is that I did see the weather show up on the edge screen just once before, but how to get it back again.
I was using Google maps today and its showing my location 5 km from my home when I'm sitting at home! I've tried hi accuracy mode in the settings, wiped the cache, ininstalled maps. All without success. Even Google earth is reporting the wrong location. what I can do to resolve it? Factory reset? How good a job does the restore feature on the pc version of smart switch do at restoring the phone?

The clock still keeps time, but the weather icon on the right hand side does not show the current weather, will not update, nor will it allow me to touch the widget and enter into the settings/different cities. It was working fine up until about a week ago. I've tried restarting my phone and removing/re-positioning the widget, but no luck. It can't be uninstalled as it came with OS.

I installed maps 3.0.8 a while ago and was working fine. I used weather widget frequently. Was in the USA last week, Belle came out for my N8 and I upgraded. Used weather widget there, and it showed me USA local weather for Wayne, near Philadelphia.I am home now in Novi Sad and weather widget still shows "Weather for Wayne'' and the temperatures and forecast are for Novi Sad. I tried to go put get GPS lock on Novi Sad in Drive. No change. I can not remove ''Wayne'' in any way I tried. I am having correct forecast and current temperature but I can not remove name of the location.

The I phone 4 would always switch to edge in my living room when the 3g signal was low however my 4s just seems to stay at 1 bar and say "searching" when 3g signal has gone whearas my 4 would go straight to edge. I have only ever seen my 4s switch to edge once and when it does I get 4 bars! at home its ok as I can switch the wifi on however when I am at work etc and take the phone out of my pocket its almost always "searching"? just wondering if this is common for a 4s not to use edge or is there something wrong with my phone?
View 2 Replies View RelatedAlways maintained a very strong 3g signal, 5 bars always no matter where I was. The last 3 or 4 days my signal started dropping like crazy to EDGE - edge - to gps or whatever to no signal. Did everything to try and fix it. Called T-Mobile about the problem and they said no problem we are sending you a new 9700. I will have it Wednesday afternoon. I asked if it will be a new one or refurbished, she said a new one. You can't beat that with a stick. They have the best customer service out of all the carriers. Just wanted to tell my recent experience with my carrier.

Ever since my Verizon Samsung Galaxy S6 system was updated to version G920VVRU1AOE2 two or three days ago, I receive a notification at 6:20 am with the day's weather prediction, and the notification uses sound + vibrate. I can find no way to turn off the sound and the vibration of this notification. Android version is still 5.0.2. How to mute this event?

This morning, I found that it remained completely non-current, still displaying the night's forecast at the end of the morning. It wasn't in line with either the accurateweather or the google now widget forecasts, so I guess that's not where the lock screen widget info comes from.

I have lost functionality of the native app that came with my Galaxy S5. Have tried thr GO and Weather Channel apps and theu both failed. Lollipop sucks, no doubt, but the must be a weather app that works with it on the S5.
