I have a BlackBerry 9300 curve 3G phone and i am unable to use gprs on it.Kindly tell me the way to check how to enter the settings for GPRS.I can see "edge" written on the screen near the signal meter.

The I phone 4 would always switch to edge in my living room when the 3g signal was low however my 4s just seems to stay at 1 bar and say "searching" when 3g signal has gone whearas my 4 would go straight to edge. I have only ever seen my 4s switch to edge once and when it does I get 4 bars! at home its ok as I can switch the wifi on however when I am at work etc and take the phone out of my pocket its almost always "searching"? just wondering if this is common for a 4s not to use edge or is there something wrong with my phone?
View 2 Replies View RelatedKudos to the designer who made the Full Screen Battery Meter you get when you plug it in using the wall charger after it has shut down due to depleted battery. I don't know if this has always been there or if you also get it if you plug it in to your computer after a full discharge or when you plug it in to the wall charger after you power off (without depleting the battery fully). But it sure is a nice touch - a really smooth animated battery meter that fills the entire screen for the little over an hour that it takes to charge from 0% to 100%. Well done, Team MotoACTV

View 1 Replies View RelatedAlways maintained a very strong 3g signal, 5 bars always no matter where I was. The last 3 or 4 days my signal started dropping like crazy to EDGE - edge - to gps or whatever to no signal. Did everything to try and fix it. Called T-Mobile about the problem and they said no problem we are sending you a new 9700. I will have it Wednesday afternoon. I asked if it will be a new one or refurbished, she said a new one. You can't beat that with a stick. They have the best customer service out of all the carriers. Just wanted to tell my recent experience with my carrier.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI purchased an used blackberry bold 9700 (locked to t-mobile) I recieved and unlock code and It has worked. I now have my ATT sim card inside the phone. It allows me to sms and browse the internet, make phone calls etc. But at the top it says "edge". However it does not let me setup an email it says "your device had a problem connecting to the server" ... Also It does not display the BB app world, or let me download any apps. Can somebody please help me so I can use the blackberry the way it was intended. As another note I recieve a text message from +1121611611 stating "122 Error Invalid Number. Please resend using valid 10 digit mobile number or valid short code. Activate t=6"..

After that, I tried to sync my iphone contacts so my address book will have my contacts but instead of having contacts from my iphone, my iphone contacts were all erased and over-written to the no-contacts from the MacBook address book.
I have seen several threads on recovery via itunes backup but unfortunately, I do not have any backups due to the crashed hdd.
I started getting this error a few months ago. The solution was to restore and re-jailbreak. Well it came back up a few nights ago, so I updated to 3.1.3 thinking it doesn't really matter, they will release a new Jailbreak soon.So I've been without a jailbreak for a couple days, and just this morning I got the error again. Should I bring my phone into Apple?

I miss the full screen album art on the lock screen from my lg G3 while playing any type of media (Pandora, Spotify, etc.) ... Even worked while I used xbmc (now kodi)... I believe even Samsung had this as well. While some didn't like it, I loved it!
Any way to get that back on the s6/edge?? Not sure why they did away with this.

I seem to have noticed that on my phone it says GPRS and on my friends it says EDGE at the top right of the screen on your home screen.I havent got any applications open and my battery still dies quick. View 1 Replies View RelatedI downloaded a couple of apps from Sony Ericsson's web site including a game that I used to play on my Sony Ericsson Z520a phone previoulsy, called "Quadrapop." It's a free Java application, and there was a version specific to the Satio, which is also an S60 5 edition phone, just like the 5800 which I am trying to install on.
When I try installing it, I get a message, "Certificate error" followed by something to the effect of, "contact supplier" I have been able to install some other Satio Java apps on my 5800, but not Quadrapop. Is there anything I can do do get around this issue?

Feel free to point me to the relevant thread if I missed it.We have two iPhones, and both are now experiencing the same problem. The battery meter shows that the battery is fully charged, but then all of a sudden the phone complains that it’s out of charge and dies. While the battery doesn’t last quite as long as it used to, it still seems to last a couple of days (for my normal usage) between charges. It just doesn’t give notice that the charge is going down, which is a problem if we’re not paying attention.
Is anyone else having this problem? Both our phones are doing the same thing now. Any fixes? Is this a sign that our batteries are dying?
just jailbroke today with Spirit on my 3GS 3.13. My battery will show an amount like 89 then jump up to 98. What is going on here? If I shut it off it will go back down then jump right back up.

View 5 Replies View RelatedIn the past few days I've noticed my battery has been on 100% alot lately. I was thinking that I just have a great battery until it started dying for no reason. I thought I had a full charge. Now I realize that even though the meter says 100%, I really don't know how much battery life I have left. I have drained the battery and then recharged fully, rebooted, and it didn't seem to change anything. When draining the battery, I noticed that when it went into the shutdown process, A quick look at the battey meter showed that it said it was at 1% before it shut down. The battery life is fine I think. It will go for a long time before dying but it never leaves 100%.

My battery meter has been on 25% now for nearly half a day. Even when i restart my Berry its still the same. Is that an accurate reading? Its brand new and still on its first charge.
View 2 Replies View RelatedJust wondering if anyone else notices that when they first turn on (power up) their 3GS the battery meter reads really low, like below 20% sometimes, but then after 5 seconds or so will correct and read what it actually is, i.e. 50%.I thought this may be due to jailbreaking but after restoring it still happens. It will even occur first thing in the morning after I have just fully charged my phone but the discrepancy between the initial read and the actual read seems to grow throughout the day. For instance this morning the difference was only 6% where as right now it is 22% (shows 28% then goes to 50%).
I am going to run the phone until it dies today and then try fully charging it to see if that solves it. Any other suggestions/recommendations are welcome.
i have iPhone 4, iOS 5.1, Modem Firmware 04.12.01 and im facing an issue on Wifi zone. its only working within the 3 Meter Zone of Wifi. i tried it on many differetn Wifi Routers (including Cisco Aironet, Linksys, Juniper Wifi) but its didnt work outside 2-3 meters.

This happened to me a few times now now. A couple of weeks ago and yesterday. Both times I was using the network connection as wifi was not available. I used the repair feature within pc companion, but it happened again last night. It should be noted that the phone was fully charged, turned off, turned on during my lunch break and in use for only approx 20 mins.
