i often experience losing network signal in my HTC Desire S which is not caused by my networl provider. Whats wrong with my unit? Further, i have update my giware to 2.3.5 after that the numbers im tue calculator app became big amd misaligned

View 1 Replies View RelatedAn iPhone 4 (A1332) has the following problem:Â When you wake it (causing the screen to light up & come on) it shows full strength (all bars) in the upper left corner.
Over the course of a minute, the bars decrease until it says "searching" and finally "no service"Â .If you let the phone sit by itself for a few minutes and then pick it up again, the signal bars are back. But then they dwindle away again. You can make a call if you dial it fast enough (before the signal bars disappear).People have noted that they called me and it did not ring or go through.Â
What I've tried: Contacted T-mobile several times. They assure their network is working fine. Others do not seem to have coverage problems in the same area.Â

Since i had to re format my phone after the stamina mode problem every time i lock screen and say put phone down or pocket it seems to lose its signal. I know its not the area as the moment i click to call someone all the bars re appear.Â

One was the fact I couldn't play Facebook videos over 3G or 4G without getting the unknown error message which I've finally solved by downloading and enabling psiphon VPN connection mode! The other is when I enable 4G I can have it on for like 30 minutes after that my phone tends to lose all signal; meaning no texts or calls and no Internet based activity (unless on WiFi) until a restart of the phone which tends to solve the problem.

My new Atrix 2 will randomly lose signal. It will have 2-3 bars and show 4g but every night and randomly through the day I will look and there is no signal with the circle and line through it. I have to power the phone off and back on to regain. I went to AT&T on Thursday and got a new SIM as suggested. I have only had the phone since Wednesday. I have 2 other Atrix ( not 2's ) in the house and they have no issues.

View 5 Replies View Relatedme and my brother use this nokia n8 for internet browsing, camera, and gaming.recently, i realized that the phone loses wifi signal when i hold it in landscape mode. when the phone is in portrait mode, the signal range shows 20-35%, but when i tilt the phone to landscape, the signal drops to 2-6%. it's funny when i'm watching videos on Internet, because i have to tilt my head instead of the phone and i can't use the advantage of the full stretched keyboard - with the tiny keyboard which is designed for one hand operation, i as a quicktyper have to correct every second word that i write.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI live in a poor reception area on the Rogers network. I've noticed that when I go into the basement the phone drops a signal pretty quickly. I am okay with this and is expected. My issue is when I get back on to the main floor, the phone does not pick up a signal again for a long time. Sometimes even toggling airplane mode doesn't work. My wife's iPhone does the same thing.
Anybody else having this problem?
What do these Icons represent or mean, and the meaning when they change Colors from White to Blue (Status Icons). There was a GB 2.3.4 User Manual Posted on Moto's site, Unfortunately no information was included about these Items. What does it mean when all three are blue, Including the H+ icon having arrows beneath it at the same time? after some time (usualy like 1 to 2 hours) in powersaving mode and standby mode together . When I wake up the phone the phone suddenly doesnt have any connection. i have to put the phone in offline mode and back to normal/silent for it to connect back to the network. it seems only to happen while in standby mode with powersaving mode enabled.

I'm still connected to my router and can access things internal to my network (like my Sonos system or router), but can't get to anything external (such as pinging an IP address or doing a DNS lookup).

It happens everyday and is getting worse Sometimes I lose it for 5 minutes, but 3 hours is ridiculous! I'm still connected to 3G. I can talk on the phone and I can use the browser for internet. But i can't get my work emails and my apps don't work. I tried resending my service books nothing I turned on and off all my services on the phone nothing. I run the connection diagnostics and it says Blackberry Registration: No. I updated to the latest leak .161 and that didn't help.I found a thread on Crack Berry where numerous others are encountering the same issue, so I don't think exchanging the device is going to help. Someone from Blackberry please fix this! This is a serious issue!

View 9 Replies View RelatedMy network service provider has given me a plan in which 2G network is by default activated and I am also taking 3G plan on top of it. For normal use i want to use 2G network and in special cases where i need speed I want to use 3G network. Is there any option in the phone where i can switch to any network ( 2G or 3G) as per my need ? or switch off complete mobile network when not needed ?
for example at present If i am accessing network using 2G network and speed is not good enough can i switch to 3G network ? and once my work is done can i switch back to 2 G or completely turn off mobile network ?
My phone works fine with my home WiFi, but as soon as I am out of range, the phone automatically connects with the BTFON/BTOpenzone network (which shows up as an 'Open network', although you have to subscribe to actually connect to it).This doesn't really bother me much, except that when I get back into range of my home network, the phone remains 'connected' to the BT open networks and I have to reconnect manually to my home network. Does anyone know if there is a way to get the phone always to ignore BT? Or at least to make my home network the preferred one when I'm in range?

View 10 Replies View RelatedI bought a factory unlocked IPhone 4s (Model MD234LL and Serial DNPGYCCWDT9Y) from US and after the software upgrade 5.1.1 (9B206) I find that the device looses signal strength and does not connect to Internet 3G or on other occasions Internet connections drops. Sometimes I have "No service" that also comes up. Even making phone calls is difficult and during calls the conversation is dropped and i have to call back sometimes. I also use a BlackBerry and have a connection from same service provider but my BlackBerry shows better Internet browsing capabilities than the iPhone. When the iPhone shows no service my BlackBerry has signal strength.
