My HTC M8 is about a month old, and a few days ago it turned off while I was using it at about 60% charge, I couldn't turn it back on until I got home and plug into the charger and it said that the battery was at 0%. There were no problems with the phone after that for a few days but it just happened again today, and I'm wondering if I was it is a battery problem.

I brought a blackberry a couple of days ago and it has been fine. Then today it ran out of battery and so when I got home I put it on charge. It is not turning back on and has been charging for nearly 4 hours. I have tried the battery pull and still nothing. There is no lights and the screen is just blank. What should I do?

On about 3-4 occasions now, I've turned off the phone at night, and the next morning, when turning it back on, I've experienced a loss in battery percentage. I.e., Charged phone to 100%, turned off phone overnight, turned on phone in the AM and battery percentage reads 75%.
Last night, it happened again, only I shut the phone off with about 75% battery. When I turned it on again this morning, my battery percentage had decreased to about 62%.
It's odd, and have never seen this before. This has only happened after the 5.1 update, so not sure if its related to that.
Why would a phone that is turned off be using battery power?
I bought my X6 1 month ago and now it doesn't want to charge or turn on. Before this happened I was on the phone talking and I had low battery so I decided to put my charger in while I was talking. I have charged it all night and it still won't turn on.

After it shut off and I plugged my blackerry in to charge up, I couldn't get the phone to turn back on. I popped the battery in and out of the back hoping for a reboot and nothing. I left it plugged in over night. When I tried to turn it back on this morning it still wouldn't turn on. Even when I have the phone plugged into a charger, the battery continues to drain as it would normally. I work at a phone repair store, so I was able to test it with multiple cords and charging blocks, along with different batteries. I was also able to replace the original charge port with another we had in stock. Same result, nothing.

The battery was replaced after a fault of the battery going flat ( so I was told ) and would not re-charge and the phone will not work or respond to any buttons.After 3 days of operating and after fully charging the battery then running it down and charging it again it has happened again. The battery shows up when the unit is put on charge but it stays showing with the thin red line at the bottom of the battery.

I posted about a problem with my battery losing up to 30% battery on reboot but got no answers so am hoping somebody will test their phone for meWhen my battery drops to just below 50%, if I reboot by pressing and holding the power button for about 8 seconds, on reboot, my battery has dropped to as little as 13%, even if there was 48% left prior to rebooting.I originally thought this was happening after tethering but it has turned out, it does it regardless of how much or how little I use the phone and even without tetheringI am on stock 2.3.4 XEU, manufacture unlocked and wondered if some kind soul would be kind enought to see if they can replicate the problem.It needs to be the 9100, complete stock and not rooted really as I am trying to determine whether it's a hardware issue or software issue.

Then the phone will proceed to turn off after a few seconds. I have tried a soft reset by holding down power and volume down at the same time. I can feel a small vibration after 6 seconds of doing this, but otherwise nothing happens. I have tried 2 different chargers, as well as connecting to the USB in the computer.

If i plug it in to charge.. it charges at about 1% per hour if that.. turn the screen on and it drops several percent,. use it unplugged and it rapidly discharges maybe 15% or more in a very short period of time.
Im guessing i got a bad batch?
Its very odd that both phones exhibit the same behavior.. and just for kicks i left 8.1 on one and put 10 on the other.
I have a Bold 9000 and it is draining the battery very quickly doesnt even last a few hours with a couple of calls and when its flat will only charge if I take out the battery and put in on a universal charger it wont charge with the blackberry mains charger, car charger or usb connection.I have bought two new batteries and all the same thing, turned off all applications I can see.The phone was bought new from an ebay seller in December and I cant get any response now from them and they are no longer on ebay.I have seen something about updating the system.

Is there an easy way to determine what applications are running without having to check each one. I have tried resetting the factory settings,but it indicates that there is an application or call that needs to be closed. There is definitely no call running so it has to be an application.
