I bought an N5 a month ago. At first the notifications were expanded by default ,but now i have to drag them down from the left corner to expand. How do i enable expanded notifications again?
Basically I never get any notification of app updates, not do they update automatically. I have to go into app store regularly, then to updates and thereafter it shows the updates available, and shows the badge on the app store logo (ie red 3 for three new updates).
I've tried logging out of the current apple ID, powering off, on, putting apple ID back, no difference.
Tried turning off automatic updates, powering off, on, putting it back on, no difference (it's currently set in obviously).
Also difficult yo test as each time I need to wait for new updates to be issues to see if it works or not.
I used my Nokia N82 since i bought this in Macau way back 14 aug. 2009 & like this phone very much. but now, im afraid to use because the battery model "BP-6MT" were expanded & its hard to close the back cover, the battery still working & the phone w/ out the back cover. I searching replacement or other model for N82 model but not available.
This was working very nicely on the iPhone. I'd setup a route via Google maps, and go. While driving a call would come in, I answer it. The phone screen is displayed.
Because the phone screen is displayed Google maps notifies me of an upcoming navigation instruction. It also auto mutes it's navigation voice so as to not disturb the phone call.
Google maps will also display the same notifications in the lock screen on IOS.
This is much the same as Android dropping down the phone controls when you're in a different app and an incoming call comes in.
Battery in my bb expanded by charging and two buttons on side popped off. I got the phone by contract from T-mobile. They want me to pay for the repairing even though the phone is still in the guaranty time. There is no Blackberry or RIM agent in Czech republic, what should I do now?
is there some kind of an app to auto update the time using the wifi in nokia x6? Do you want to get all the firmware updates for your phone? Get a SIM-free one!
I will receive an iPhone 4 in the beginning of next week and if I've understood things correctly I will have to plug it into my Mac and activate the phone with iTunes. When doing this, will it also auto update iOS to the newest version (4.0.2) without asking? If so, can I prevent it?I'm asking because this will be my first iPhone and I want to be able to jailbreak it, jailbreaking iOS 4.0.2 is not possible today as far as I know.
She doesn't want to be prompted or asked for the iTunes password for every single update. She doesn't have that many apps and finds the little red prompt very annoying. She has unlimited data so that's not a concern. I can understand typing in your password to BUY an app, but to have to enter it for every iTunes transaction is really annoying. I have a Galaxy Nexus and can set it up to not give me update prompts. Is there a similar option for the iPhone?
My blackberry curve 8520 always connects to the internet at 00:00 costing me money can this be turned off?It is on a Sim only deal with no data, I have WiFi in my home but it seems to dismiss this and connect using the Mobile internet. I assume that it is programmed to look for updates at midnight. CaN this function be disabled?
just downloaded the update Nokia released. After the update, I noticed when I unlock the phone, the screen is nice and bright but then it goes a bit dark. Appears the auto brightness control is no longer working correclty.
Everyone is going to think that i mean no home screen rotate, but i mean no screen rotation at all. The only time the screen rotates is when watching the YouTube app. And then it wont rotate back until i go back to my home screen. I have it set to auto rotate in the pull down shade. I have checked the sensor with an app and its working. I have tried a soft restart and that didn't work.
the auto-updating of apps stopped working on my iPhone (4s/iOS 7.1.2). Not sure if that's a coincidence but it seems like it stopped working immediately after iOS 8 got released to developers (on June 2), as if somehow the App Store got configured differently, preventing devices running iOS 7 to auto-update apps. Auto update of apps used to happen at night here, most likely when the system has been idle and plugged in for a while, but no more. I find apps to update every morning, nothing has been done automatically.
ps: I did de-activate reboot and re-activate auto-update, no change.
It looks like my galaxy did an auto update for android and now when I try to do a voice text or anything that opens the microphone, the X will not close it. I have to reboot the phone to get it to go away. Anyother way to force it to close?
So im not reciving any update notifications for any apps. If i go to the Store there is no notifications but if i got to an app like "Nokia Maps" there will be an update. Also I dont recive any of the updates for "Extras+info" that i keep hearing about. I know some people are saying to go to windowsphone.com and force the update from Puchased apps but it doesnt show up there.
Attached is my "Extras+Info" information. Iv tried factory reseting my phone too.
I can't get notifications showing on lock screen after updating software. I've already been into Notifications > App notifcations and ticked priority boxes but still doesn't work. Also tried the 'Lock Screen' section as well, but it only has option for hiding 'Incoming calls'.
After the new 5.1 update i cant have badges notifications on facebook app and messanger app! i reinstalled latest xperia home but nothing happened? I really want the notification cou...nt
I had a system update on my brand new s6 and now it won't vibrate for notifications it works for the keyboard and when it turns on and off so the motor is good. And I went into setting and it's all on. But I just can't get it to work.
FB notifications no longer work since i updated the 4S to iOS 5.1.
Did the update and the notifications stopped working. I didn't change a single setting.einstalled but still no luck.
Deleted the FB app and reinstalled but still didn't work. Did a clean install of 5.1 and reinstalled all my apps (no back up was used) and it still does not work.
I've had my Nexus 6p for 1 week and I have not received any OTA update notifications. I'm still running MDA89D (latest is MDB08M??)I'm on Verizon (with a sim from my Note 4) and have not done any modifications to the phone yet (bootloader, root, etc)According to the factory images page, URL...
As soon as I updated phone to latest firmware, auto rotate stopped working. Previous firmware I had was v21. I made update through Nokia Ovi Suite. I tried several methods to restore auto rotate:
1. restore factory settings (soft reset) 2. unmark auto rotate, restart, mark auto rotate 3. removing battery for few minutes 4. finally tried hard reset
And auto rotate is still not working. Is there anything else that can be done to enable auto rotate again?
I have an app that I don't want to be auto updated, but I want the others to keep being auto updated. In the meanwhile, I turned off auto update entirely but it's a huge inconvenience having to update all the apps manually. Is there a way to keep a specific app from getting auto updated and still keep the auto update on?
