But I'd like to hid the notification bar until I swipe down from the top.

Oct 31, 2015I have just come from a Note 4 and the one thing I miss is the teamviewer control via a PC (quicksupport addin for Samsung). All you get with the Nexus 6p is mirroring and not control currently. Any reliable remote control ie desktop controls the android phone?

Feb 20, 2016I'm running the latest Cyanogenmod 13 nightly on my Nexus 6P, without gapps. Unfortunately, I do not have an HDR option in the camera (tried AOSP and Google camera).
I already flashed the vendor.img from Google. What I could do? I do not want to install gapps.

Dec 24, 2015Just as the title says, I tried messing with the dpi, went from 400 to 480, all of them cause chrome to go into tablet mode with the tiny tabs/buttons at the top of the screen. I'm using the PureNexus rom.
Gmail app doesn't allow me to click some embedded links and some links are just plain text and not highlighted/underlined in blue making them clickable.

Oct 31, 2015I'm trying to flash a TWRP, but for some reason the phone doesn't show up any more in adb when in fastboot mode (at the bottom of the phone screen it tells me to connect a USB cable). It was showing fine until yesterday. I have tried several different USB ports. The cable is definitely working (in fact plugging and unplugging it causes Windows to notice and make a sound, and also it works fine in ADB when the phone is booted up.
The only thing that I can think that happened since I had last connected to it in fastboot mode (to unlock the bootloader) is that I connected my PC to a couple other phones (Galaxy S3 and Nexus 5) using them in MTP mode. I have reinstalled Google and universal drivers several times, deleted the device from device manager, etc

Jan 18, 2016I've been looking for an app or xposed module but no luck. I've been out the Android game for awhile with the iPhone 6 but now I'm back. On the iPhone there is a tweak to allow you to have a guest mode button on the lock screen.
I find it to be more convenient when someone picks up my phone. They can enter guest mode without the back and forth handling.

- settings->accounts->google->chrome is set to sync
- did a force close and also rebooted

Oct 9, 2013I noticed after the update, the email notifications in the curtain are always auto expanded now...
Also a couple of other things while I'm here... I do have the contact pic bug, by double tapping home and closing it out fixes it though..
"developer options" are not in this device, an app that will keep the screen on while charging now?? I miss that option..

Aug 17, 2010I just did a hard reset (battery removal) on my Storm2 9550. When it finished booting, I started up the Desktop Software and connected the phone via USB. I got the following message:
This Blackberry device is using an MTP connection. Some media features require mass storage mode for your device, which will interrupt any active media transfer protocol (MTP) connections. Do you want to switch to mass storage mode?
I'm not sure exactly what this means or if I should answer 'Yes' or 'No'. (I didn't have any luck searching for that particular message online).

Apr 29, 2011Ok after some trial and error i am now able to view content on the bbc iplayer in its correct format but its a bit fidly, here is what you need to do:Firstly in your stock browser type about:debug to enable enhanced menu's. Navigate to settings, debug and UAString and change this to iPad BEFORE launching bbc.Now launch BBC/iPlayer, it will come uo slightly formatted for the ipad screen but looks tons better than the mobile version.You will not be able to play videos fro here... go back into settings, debug and change UACString to Desktop then refresh the screen and voila you have the desktop version of BBC iPlayer.My guess is the initial brower check that the bbc do incorectly identifies the device when in desktop mode and tne android page/mobile is just pants. Too many companies in bed with Apple which is why they sucessfully dominate the tablet market.

Motorola said streaming is no longer supported on desktop mode with ICS. The crappy part is she could not report the problem, I was to explain my problem on this forum so the software poeaple could read this. I've got better things to do than registering for a forum so someone might read this and get streaming back. Not a happy camper with ICS.

Draft a txt and then send to multiple recipients without each recipient being able to see the other? Basically the same thing as sending an email to multiple people via BCC option.
Would be handy for business purposes. I don't care if they see my contact. I just don't want them to see eachothers contact since not everyone I'd send to would know the other (and/or want their contact information shared).
Obviously I could copy and paste the same message to multiple people via individual txt msgs... but being able to send a group txt would be way more efficient.

One of the things I wanted to enable was Now on Tap but everytime I try and enable it (either through holding the home button, or doing it through Settings), it won't enable! When I click Get Started, nothing happens. If i'm in the settings app, the toggle just turns off after I press Get Started.

Jan 6, 2016I am rooted on stock 6.0.1 with ElementalX kernel. I have Xposed installed, but I've tried disabling all modules. I've tried deleting the stock clock data and cache. There are no alarms set or off. I've checked the alarms.db file and there are no entries.
How do I get rid of the icon and lock screen info? I only have the Google Clock installed.
The only Google result says to do a battery pull on a different device. Can't really pull the battery on this phone, though.
