HTC Desire S :: Sending Videos. Via Laptop, Or SMS On Phone?
Nov 27, 2011
It was my mum's 80th on Friday, and got two videos, of 20 seconds, and 28 seconds, that I would like to forward to my sister who had to travel back down south soon after, but too late for me to bluetooth them to her phone. Her fiance suggested I email them, but when I tried Gmail it said video was too large, and when I tried Hotmail with phone's USB hooked up to laptop, couldn't find videos.
I have HTC Desire. I had some videos and pictures in my mobile. I never deleted them from my mobile, I just transferred them to my PC and with transfer they disappear. I can't see them in Gallery any more. Luckily due to the backup software Astro, i have got my Pictures back but I can't locate my videos anywhere. To remind you, I just transferred them, not deleted them from mobile.
Whenever I try to send images from my BB to my laptop, I receive a "Failed to find service" message. Sending images to my BB from my laptop works perfectly fine.
Originally I received error messages about missing 'peripheral devices', but I've since followed instruction to install them, and resolved that error. I thought this would enable me to send and receive files to/from my BB without issue, but the "sending" part still won't work. I've also tried removing my BB from my Laptop's Devices, and vise versa, then re-pairing them. This also doesn't seem to have any effect.
My BB is a Curve 8500 v5.0.0.681 I'm on Orange UK Laptop is a Sony VAIO
I recently went to a concert and took a load of videos on my camera but can't figure out how to transfer them onto my phone. I realise I'll have to change the formatting but I wasn't sure how to do that (everything I've looked at has told me to download programmes or buy apps to do this), and then afterwards, how to actually get them onto my phone.Â
Just got a new HTC Inspire. It seems to be a good phone, but I can see that there is a lot to learn. how do I load photos and videos from my phone to my laptop?
I've been having trouble with my videos once I transfer them from my phone to my laptop. The sound goes on them but if I move it back to the phone the sound is fine again. Am I doing something wrong when I transfer them?
I downloaded videos from my iphone to my laptop which runs on windows xp. But the videos won't play properly on my laptop - they play in some sort of slow motion.
My iPhone 4 records awesome videos, but when I send them via MMS to others, many say it is so distorted that they can't hardly view it. Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a setting somewhere that I can change so i can send clear videos via MMS?
I've had the new Droid for about a month now and have been obsessed with learning it's capabilities. I just recently set up Google Voice and only mention it because I don't know if that has something to do with the problem.
I know that there's problems with the phone sending videos in messages but I hadn't had a problem sending pictures in messages until now. I don't try that often so I'm not sure when the problem started but I noticed today that when I attach a photo that I took with the phone, it just stays in the "sending" mode. It never sends the message.
It's the same with the default messaging app and another that I downloaded.
I just purchased a motorola photon Q 4GLTE. Used to have the Samsung Moment. On this motorola I can take videos in HD 1080 or HD 720 and 3 other lower settings but none of them will send via text or email. Message says the file is to large and to use the Video MMS setting. I used that setting and the quality of the video is awful and the sound is almost inaudible. but it will send in a text. How can I send or convert my HD videos to mms and send them via text and email? Do I only have the option of the video MMS mode? If so....I would much rather have my samsung moment back. took much better pictures and sent high quality videos. I have searched high and low and went to a sprint repair store and there are no answers to my problem. The store said they are made like that and don't have good quality mms settings. I can't believe this is so. Is there an app or a setting to fix this problem
I've recently noticed that text messages are delayed until I either..
1. Make or take a call 2. Restart my phone 3. Send myself a blank message
I'm not sure if this could be related or not but it seems to have started at the same time as my husband being away in China. We text each other a lot and his are particularly difficult to prompt.
I've registered online with HTC sense, and got to the step where it asks me to login with my phone. I've gone to Setup on my phone where it said to go, saying that I should login when the HTC Sense screen comes up. However, no HTC Sense comes up during the setup?
I've also tried going to HTC Sense website through the phone's browser, but it just has the loading screen constantly cycling through? The phone is an HTC Desire, I'm on Orange (UK) and the OS is Android 2.2.
I brought Desire C 2 months back, till 2days back it is fine with my ear phone, but suddenly left ear phone is not working suddenly. No twists in the wire & did nothing .I don't know what to do to resolve this problem. I want to know this is the HTC responsible to solve this issue.
How can I delete my emails from the phone without it actually deleting from my email account so that I can still access them when I check them from a pc?
The HTC desire and HT Sync work well with Contacts, Photos and Calendar. But with documents, the synchronisation appears to be from the PC to the Desire and not the other way round. Thus it appears to copy rather than synchronise.
On my PC and Galaxy Tab 10.1, when connected to my home router, I get about 1.5 mbps for my download speed. On the HTC I get less than 500 kbps. Anyone any ideas on how I can improve the download speed on the Desire, or is this the speed which it is supposed to operate at?
my phone profile is normal but when some one phones me the ringtone dont play same problem with the notifications is the phone faulty or something I have done wrong?
I set up a new Exchange ActiveSync e-mail account on my Desire HD, and although I can send e-mails from this account from the phone, I am not receiving any (but they are arriving in Outlook on my desktop). So far, I have:Deleted the account and re-installedChanged the 'mail size limit' setting to maximumTried receiving e-mails with the 'sync when roaming' ticked, and also not tickedSet 'include file attachment' to alwaysNone of these have made the slightest difference. What bothers me is that I can use my phone to send from this account, which must mean the account information must be correct and working.
