Jan 11, 2015I just came over from iPhone. Is there any way too and short video clips? Can't figure it out. I've tried Textra and stock messaging app.

HTC :: Nexus One Video MMS Bug Videos Too Short
Apr 30, 2010i think i found a bug in the nexus one when sending video MMS. it only lets you record about 8 seconds of video and then says "you've exceeded the message length." i've tried a million different ways, and no matter what it doesnt work right.all previous phones i was able to send up to 30 second clips of reduced quality video. but not on the nexus.so far i've used the messaging app, attach, record video, and it gets up to 298k and then stops, even though the default size in settings is set to 600k.i've also tried from handscent, but that app has no "camera record" option. so i have to attach a video i've already recorded, which i DID, using low quality, and it won't work either saying message too large, even though i have the setting at 600k file size.
finally i've tried to SHARE directly from the camera app and gallery, same result. anyone else noticed this bug? i searched google, and only 1 other post came up in a different forum, describing the same exact issue back in march. guess nobody uses video mms!!

Jul 5, 2012IPhone 4 video recording. I recorded about 10 short video. Is there any way to combine them into just one video? I might want to post on facebook, but don't want to post 10 separate videos.

Jul 16, 2010My iPhone 4 records awesome videos, but when I send them via MMS to others, many say it is so distorted that they can't hardly view it. Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a setting somewhere that I can change so i can send clear videos via MMS?

Jan 2, 2010I've had the new Droid for about a month now and have been obsessed with learning it's capabilities. I just recently set up Google Voice and only mention it because I don't know if that has something to do with the problem.
I know that there's problems with the phone sending videos in messages but I hadn't had a problem sending pictures in messages until now. I don't try that often so I'm not sure when the problem started but I noticed today that when I attach a photo that I took with the phone, it just stays in the "sending" mode. It never sends the message.
It's the same with the default messaging app and another that I downloaded.

Nov 27, 2011It was my mum's 80th on Friday, and got two videos, of 20 seconds, and 28 seconds, that I would like to forward to my sister who had to travel back down south soon after, but too late for me to bluetooth them to her phone. Her fiance suggested I email them, but when I tried Gmail it said video was too large, and when I tried Hotmail with phone's USB hooked up to laptop,couldn't find videos.

May 31, 2011Every time i try to send a text/sms i get a red cross next to it saying " Short message transfer" and i can not send a text.I have tried a battery pull, and removed the area code etc as what I have seen people say on other forums, but nothing has worked!ANY IDEAS? it was working a few days ago and I just tried- and nothing! I can recieve all my text messages (as far as I know) but cant send them.The mobile numbers are correct, so that wouldnt be the issue. I cant send them to anyone, or anhy company eg i was trying to text in to see my balance and that happened. I cant send a single text to an yone! Also the sim card had been recently changed so it is not an issue of an old sim.

Nov 19, 2012I just purchased a motorola photon Q 4GLTE. Used to have the Samsung Moment. On this motorola I can take videos in HD 1080 or HD 720 and 3 other lower settings but none of them will send via text or email. Message says the file is to large and to use the Video MMS setting. I used that setting and the quality of the video is awful and the sound is almost inaudible. but it will send in a text. How can I send or convert my HD videos to mms and send them via text and email? Do I only have the option of the video MMS mode? If so....I would much rather have my samsung moment back. took much better pictures and sent high quality videos. I have searched high and low and went to a sprint repair store and there are no answers to my problem. The store said they are made like that and don't have good quality mms settings. I can't believe this is so. Is there an app or a setting to fix this problem
