HTC :: Nexus One Video MMS Bug Videos Too Short

i think i found a bug in the nexus one when sending video MMS. it only lets you record about 8 seconds of video and then says "you've exceeded the message length." i've tried a million different ways, and no matter what it doesnt work right.all previous phones i was able to send up to 30 second clips of reduced quality video. but not on the nexus.so far i've used the messaging app, attach, record video, and it gets up to 298k and then stops, even though the default size in settings is set to 600k.i've also tried from handscent, but that app has no "camera record" option. so i have to attach a video i've already recorded, which i DID, using low quality, and it won't work either saying message too large, even though i have the setting at 600k file size.

finally i've tried to SHARE directly from the camera app and gallery, same result. anyone else noticed this bug? i searched google, and only 1 other post came up in a different forum, describing the same exact issue back in march. guess nobody uses video mms!!
