Was transfering photo from old phone to HTC Desire HD via Bluetooth and lost connection. I now have permanent bluetooth notification icon in notification bar say "null" wants to transfer file no bytes. Accept or decline. Selecting either does nothing. I assume the HTC no longer knows where "null" device is. Is there anyway to clear this notification without a factory reset.
I only go on facebook every now and then on my phone and I have before and got the notification and was able to delete them. Tonight when I clicked on the 10fb icon, nothing shows...?
How to clear the system update notifications for Lollipop on both the lock screen and in the notification area at the top left of the screen. I'm not really wanting to update just yet.
I have a BBM notifaction that I cannot clear. I have been through EVERYTHING on my phone, and nope there is nothing pending or open. How do I clear it? I even did a battery pull. The only thing I can think of, was I had a request, accidently hit ignore and saw the person that sent me that request and i requested them back. Thought I cleared it when I added the person but it is still there. So does anyone have any ideas how to clear this?
i upgraded to the .566 and all has gone smooth except for the small "new E-mail" icon at the top wont go away and i dont have any new e-mails. does anyone know how to clear that?
My phone still has the voicemail notification on my front screen and it's driving me crazy. I've deleated all of my messages but it still won't go away.
I am stumped by this one. When I listen to music in the standard music player that comes with the phone (My Music), it creates a notification with the song that I am listening too (thumbs up). However, I am unable to clear this notification even when I stop listening to music and exit out of the program (thumbs down).
Does anyone know how to clear or erase my calendar events from the notification bar? I did some research it is says under Options-Display there should be a option for External Notification. BUT my phone does not have that option.
XYZ's birthday on December 12. By browsing calendar application it is no different to anyone's else. However , it is not cleared from wallpaper. It reads "Today is XYZ's birthday .
All Day " By wallpaper I mean the very initial picture which we slide up to see tiles.
there is a setting somewhere on the phone ( Desire ) that turns off the notification sound ( text , email , etc ) whilst a call is being made , on other phones ive had the phone would just vibrate during a call if you received a text message but not this one.
In the past few days my HTC Desire has started vibrating twice whenever a new facebook notification arrives. As this is very frequent, I find it incredibly annoying. It didn't used to do it so I wonder what has changed and how can I stop it happening?
I don't believe this will be possible but I figured I'd ask. At one time someone found a way to create a truly black icon by using a web site link. You would simply point your browser to this site and save the link to your desktop. You could do this as often as you wished, creating as many "blank" icons as you wished. This allowed you to "arrange" icons on each page in what ever configuration you wanted.
Now that you can set a background image having a "clear" link icon would be useful but I just don't see how it's possible. And no, I don't want to jailbreak to get this feature. I can deal with it if it's not possible.
I have an icon in the area that alerts you to when you have a text msg, email, etc.. It looks like a WiFi symbol, yellow in color, with the #1 at its left. I cannot clear it and nowhere in BB's literature can I find what this icon means..
I have a BB Bold, I have a message icon that will not clear. I've gone through all my emails and haven't been able to clear it, also took the battery out for a little while without any change in the status of the message.
just reporting an issue I have noticed with ICS on my Droid RAZR. If I have a text message conversation open and receive a new message from the same contact, the notification icon pops up, I'm properly notified, but then it won't clear without backing out of the conversation to the higher level text messaging section. I have had success a few times with tapping on the new message to clear the notification icon, but not all the time. This was not an issue I noticed with the previous version of Android.
I can't seem to Change the Default Notification Sound..
I'm using Stock Firmware out of the Box. Phone Details: Android Version: 2.3.3 HTC Sense 2.1 Baseband 20.281.30 Kernel Version 2.6.35.10-g2ee27f5 Build Number 1.48.707.1 Software Number 1.48.707.1
I am a new HTC user and there is one thing that is bothering me about the software and that is the new text message notification. Is there a way for this notification to only say "new message" instead of saying who it is from and what the message says before the message is even opened from the home screen?
My email (and messages) icon wont clear. It says I have 19 unread messages and the only thing in my email are 2 unread messages.I have done the following:
Deleting everything in my message folder Turning the phone off Taking the battery out Sending additional email to see if that re-sets it before taking the battery out
I have an icon that I have two unread e-mails on my Bold homescreen but after two days of searching and clearing all unopenned messages, the icon is still there. How do I clear it?
