BB Torch 9800 :: How To Clear / Erase Calendar Events From Notification Bar?
Aug 14, 2010Does anyone know how to clear or erase my calendar events from the notification bar? I did some research it is says under Options-Display there should be a option for External Notification. BUT my phone does not have that option.

Apr 3, 2011I own a Torch 9800 and since yesterday, the missed call log won't clear. so everytime I need it to clear, I need to pull out the battery, put it back i, however, as soon as I get another missed call, the same happens, i.e. I have to pull out every time I get a missed call for it to clear.

Jul 4, 2010The notification icons for missed calls and SMS messages remains highlighted on the 'slide to open' screen. The number of messages and missed calls increase each day. My partners N900 also receives the icons, but as soon as she enters the phone or the messages, the icons dissappear.We both have the latest software. Is there anyway we can adjust the notifications?

I want to set the alert and have it remind me every two minutes of so that I have new messages and or missed calls. This is how my old phones used to work... I would get an audible alert every 2 minutes until I viewed the messge, etc.

(don't ask) Now I want to consider a Droid 4, but I can't remember if the RAZR had a notification LED for missed calls & messages but the real question is does the Droid 4 have a notification LED? This is important to me, as I need to keep my phone on silent a lot of the time, and the flashing LED is about the only way I know if I've missed a call (without waking the screen.)

The only way I can currently see them is to select "All Calls" in the "Show these call log types in message list".This simply doesn't work for me? May 23, 2012I have somehow set my message box to only show missed calls & I can't get it back to showing all messages?I have looked in messages options - inbox management & Desktop is ticked as well as text messages. I also in 'phone', options, call logs and lists, changed 'Show These Call Log Types in Message List' to None & it still only shows Missed Call as the title & shows the list. It has a white, diagonal arrow with the end protruding out of the circle and the arrow end inside the circle. It has a number 1 next to it. It does not have red asterisk. I am unable to find a way to make the indicator go away.

May 4, 2012All reminders set on my Blackberry Torch 9800 would not provide a reminder (a pop up screen) nor would it vibrate (in normal and vibrate mode) or make a sound (in normal mode) when the time of reminder was set. For example: Time now it is 4:50pm and I set a reminder for 5pm with a reminder set for 5 min. On my previous BB9700 a reminder would be generated at 4:55 pm (a sound and/or vibrate depending on the mode and profile setting). On my current BB 9800, nothing would happen.

Sep 3, 2012I use torch 9800 and use corporate e-mails over the 1 year. 2 days ago received notification regarding mailbox size warning. The text: The mailbox (my corporate e-mail account) is almost full. You should remove some emails from the box as soon as possible to prevent losing any future mail, or ask the admin to upgrade your account to have a larger quota. This mailbox is currently 91.94% (45.97/50.00 Megs) full. Also should I periodically clean /restore my mailbox in the blackberry or it is being automatically deleted after some date?

Jul 16, 2012I am unable to make any calls or take any calls on my phone. When i call anyone the call is connected to the other person but on speaker only and the person cannot hear me.
When someone else tries to call me i am unable to pick up the call. I have tried everything which i can think of but cannot pick up the call. Even hands free is not helping here.
