View 2 Replies View RelatedHave you been able to synchronize address book with your car bluetooth system via rSAP? Volvo V50 built-in bluetooth works otherwise, but does not synchronize address book. Remote SIM access is enabled from E7 bluetooth settings. It is very annoying to see just the number for incoming phone calls, nor can you browse address book and make phone calls with car's built-in system.

In other words, such a cable would have to have a 'Y' configuration with two inputs and one output to the phone. The two inputs need to accept the 5-pin male mini USB connector from the charger and the 5-pin male mini USB connector from the data cable

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm sure the title set off a few noob alarms Everything I've read online says USB 3.0 is backwards compatible with USB 2.0. I recently bought a pair of Anker micro USB 3.0 cables from Amazon UK (can't post a link). When I use these to try to connect my Samsung S5 to my computers, I get mixed results.
On my desktop: plugging into a USB 3.0 port on the motherboard works fine. The USB front panel of my case is USB 2.0 only. Plugging the phone into these ports using the Anker cable results in the phone only charging, Windows does see it. These ports work fine with the phone if I use a micro USB 2.0 cable.
On my laptop, all the ports as USB 2.0. Plugging the phone into the standard ports results in the phone only charging, Linux does mount the phone. However, plug the phone into the yellow "always on" port and my phone is detected.Do I have duff cable, duff phone or there some odd incompatibility here?

View 1 Replies View RelatedFor some reason tonight, by S6 wouldn't charge with the cable, only wireless.
Yes, I've tried multiple cables and chargers.
So, I'm listening to music through my headphones, no problem. I'm listening through the speaker, no problem. But when I want to plug it into the 3.5mm AUX cable in my car, or to connect it to my stereo, nothing happens. Volume is turned up all the way. The music app/spotify/youtube is playing. Other phones and devices play through the same cables.
It's just when connecting to my car or stereo. I'm new to Android...
Is there a cable to connect to a TV via AV plugs?
View 3 Replies View Relatedive been looking at things you can do with the otg cable for galasy s 2 an dam it looks cool. so i got myself a cable 2 acctualy cuz they werent very expensive 1 from amazon an 1 from ebay 2 different cables. it works when i connect a usb flash driver to it totaly fine no problems at all. so i tried my usb mouse/kb, but no luck after a little bit of research i found out that some kb/mouse dont work if they need power so i moved on from that. then i watched some videos an read some threads about using an xbox 360 wired pad but i have the same problem, the lights flash once an then dont come back on an acts like its not powered ive seen others use same pads online an they work fine but not for me.

I have been unable to communicate with one of my old contact since the worldwide blackberry contact a couple of weeks ago . So we decided to delete each other and add each other again. That did not work because whenever I send her invites, she never gets them . However, I get hers but when I hit accept it pushes her to 'pending' .This situation is weird and really frustrating.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a mere 3 BB Msgr contacts, all of which have worked fine the last several months. Suddenly this week, I cannot communicate with one contact, but can with the others. Re-inviting problem contact via email or PIN does not work - invitation never received. Also tried being invited by other BB contact, I never receive the invite. Have tried the trouble shooting described (deleted pending invites, battery reboot, reinvite) to no avail. Now I have stopped getting messages from other 2 BB contacts and am wondering if they have suddenly stopped working also.

I've purchased my Galaxy S6 (SM-G920F) a month earlier. It has updated to Lollipop 5.1.1 15 days before. Yesterday, I bought a OTG cable but it can't read 64GB flash drive. However, it can read all 2 of my 32GB flash drives.
Why:
1. it is not reading 64GB flash drive?
2. what to do to read 64GB, 128GB or more storage via OTG cable?
I will be in a hotel room that has a ethernet cable but no wifi so I like to connect my phone to the cable to access the internet . I have a USB2 OTG cable and a USB to RJ45 ethernet cable but when I connect it all up and try the web browser, the phone just say that it requires a Wi Fi connection.
I tried rooting the phone but keep getting a fail in Odin.

The problem I am facing is that I added my dad at BBM (he is in malaysia i'm in the UK), we can see each other's contact at bbm, but we can't communicate. I can receive his voice notes and everything. I can send him a message too, BUT with a tick next to my messages but without R or D, he claims that he didnt receive any of them.
I tried battery pull, deleting and adding contact (took a while as it takes time for the friend request to be accepted/ add to friend list) and ... googling and i ran out of ideas.
Is it a problem with my blackberry 9700 white or my dad's? or his carrier?
My Torch 9800 has syced with the desktop and laptop with no problems since I got it in late 2010.A fe days ago the above message appeared and neither desktop nor laptop will synce. As far as I can see all software is up to date.

I recently upgraded to a Bold 9650 with Sprint.I have BES for work, but am using the Internet Browser and can access the internet just fine.I am also able to use Google Maps just fine. When I try to use Blackberry Maps, I just get grey lines (no data downloaded). My GPS appears to work fine, as the app can find satellites and my location it just does not download/draw the maps. When I try a search for either a zip code or a city, I get a message that says "Request to server failed". I have deleted and reinstalled Blackberry Maps without resolution.I have also deleted the Blackberry Maps service book, but that did not resolve the issue either (it reappears after restart, so I assume it has re-downloaded a new service book). I have also contacted my company's IT, and they confirmed that the company does not block Blackberry Maps through the BES. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get my Blackberry Maps to communicate with the server? Could this be an issue with the WiFi or SIM (since Sprint is CDMA)? I have found similar issues online, but none with Sprint and none with a successful resolution.
View 9 Replies View RelatedAs of this morning, my phone no longer charges using the supplied Samsung charger. Additionally, when I UNPLUG the cable from my computer or the wall, I receive a notification saying "The dock is connected" which is obviously odd as I have actually just disconnected the cabling. Along with this message, the docking audible is heard when plugging in the charger on either the computer or the wall.
When I plug into my computer, the phone is no longer recognized as a USB device either which makes it difficult to back anything up at this point.
I do not have the lighting bolt or any blinking LED's while the charging cable is plugged in.
So far I have done the following to troubleshoot
- tried different cable on both the computer and wall
- power cycled the phone multiple times
- checked for system updates. I am up to date.
- cleaned / blown out the charging port
- cleared system cache
I have not yet done a factory reset for obvious (last resort) reasons.
My BlackBerry Desktop Software suddenly interrupts to communicate with my BlackBerry 9800 device. I begin to receive a massage:"BlackBerry Desktop Software cannot communicate with theconnected device"The BB9800 isn't rebooting, has full-charged battery and I havethe latest Desktop Software, but "retry" option doesn't help.I have reinstalled the Desktop Software but it doesn't help as well.I can see both device's and media-card's folders and can work with them, but cannot use any other options of theBlackBerry Desktop Software.
