View 2 RepliesI have a aggravating problem that started about a month ago. My phone and battery are not communicating. I am running 5.0 It began one day, I thought I was getting great battery life. It turned out the indicator was stuck at 56% . Now it just stays at 100% . Battery life is normal, I can go all day. How much battery is left. When it's done it dies.
When I go to Battery in settings it says battery data not available. I am sure this is a software issue. Whether it is a app or the OS? After the factory reset I was very careful about what I installed. Recently installed Battery Dr. It stays at 100% as well.
Here is what I've tried.
1. Bought a new battery. This seemed to correct at first, but now both battery act the same.
2. Did a factory date reset. Again this seemed to be the fix. But the issue came back.
3. Wiped the data cache. No real change.
Having issues with no info being shown in the battery section. Example instead of saying for example 6 hours left of usage it just keeps saying still learning usage habit. It was showing before but I did a factory reset and for a day it's been like this. Previously it was giving me info out the box and even when I did a reset before I was getting data instantly.
View 4 Replies View Relatedi am happy to join this forum with all of you,, i just got SGS II from 2 days i noticed that in the 1st day the battery was going well but after i installed some programs and games the battery drain become X2 than 1st day ( 1st day i was testing it and opening options and trying app. and it stay for 1 day and 5 hours approximately. but after installing the games and apps it still for 1 days and 6 hours but without using it as much as 1st day i tried to check the battery usage and i found that every thing is low and good but the display usage became over 76% no widget just 6 and the other pages have been removed all applications in background closed, brightness set on 30% approximately finally android v is 2.3.3.
i fully charged the battery since 2 hours ago and the battery now goes to 93% please i need help about that and i downloaded juice defender today to test it
I've seen quite a few screenshots where people's battery were saying 21 hours for estimated usage time remaining at 100%, and some have been getting 2 days of use, even if it's minimal. My question is how is that even possible, when after a full charge to 100%, my estimated usage time remaining is only 10 hours?? This is my 2nd S6 as the first one had a camera problem, but both only estimate 10 hours when full.

View 3 Replies View RelatedIs this normal battery usage Percentages? it seems odd that the OS use that much and is on that much.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI generally don't have trouble getting through a work day with my S6, but I do wonder whether the Android utilization is high. During a typical day (1 - 2 hours SOT, 14-15 hours off charger), I'm burning about 60%-70% of total battery, 30% of which is Android System (~22%) and Android Kernel (~8%). Google Play and other apps are all typically < 5%. Is this normal, or does this indicate that a factory reset might be a good idea? On previous phones I don't recall core Android being this high (usually <10%).
View 2 Replies View RelatedToday i updates my galaxy s2 through Samsung Kies. Everything went well and it took about 10 minutes to complete. There is one small problem though, in settings ->battery usage its fully charged and saying i have 1m 50 s on battery?!! And when i open the graph it says i have 27 seconds on battery! Whats going on? How can i fix this? I hope this is not a true indication of my current battery level and will cut out at anytime.
View 2 Replies View RelatedFor the past couple of days I've been having some strange battery problems. I can have my phone on and the battery is at 100%. Then I'll shut it off and turn it back on a few hours later and my battery would drop a significant percentage like 30% or so. It doesn't just do this when the phone is fully charged it will do it when the battery is at any percentage.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen you opened up the app drawer there used to be a tab on top for "apps" and another for "widgets" and if you scrolled through your apps, the next swipe to the right took you to your widgets. Now there's no tab for widgets and if you scroll to the end of your apps you just loop around to the beginning of them again. So where did my widgets go?

I have the latest firmware 4.4.4

View 9 Replies View RelatedSince the latest OS-Update to 6.0 Bundle 2949 the usage of the battery is like an iPhone, only 1-2 days life time with a full loaded battery. Before this update, I was able to use a full loaded battery for about one week.
View 3 Replies View RelatedOne difference between GB and ICS is that there is no GPS icon in the status bar when GPS is switched on - unless an app that uses it is running. Does this mean that the GPS uses no power outside of the app? There is no GPS power usage indicator in settings > battery to check if this is the case.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Verizon S6. After the 5.1.1 update, most of my widgets aren't working. Some will half work ei: Doggcatcher podcast widget, will not change album art but the play pause button works. Google Play music will not load, Verizon Wireless data usage will not load and the Google search bar will not work.
I have cleared cache, restarted the phone, power cycled . Both gave different results. The power cycle really killed the widget.
Since updating to 5.0 (T-mobile G900TUVU1DOB1), the widgets installed do not update. The Samsung clock widget being the main one for me. I have tried several clock widgets since and they are all the same.Is this a 5.0 error, Samsung issue, or other?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI installed it last night because it looked interesting. Similar to the MobileMe Find My iPhone but free. Anyways, woke up today (8AM) to go to school. My classes are from 8:30AM-2:15PM. I only have a 1 hour break in which I listened to Slacker radio while I used library computer.
When my last class of the day came around, I saw my battery meter, 8%! It then died 5 minutes later without no use whatsoever except that 1 hour of Slacker Radio and that's all!Nothing was running in the background or anything! So I warn you guys if you install still that it will SEVERELY bring your battery down.
how you would rate my phone's battery performance. My usage stats when my phone was at 1% battery were:
Usage: 7 hours 15 minutes
Standby: 16 hours 33 minutes
-Wifi on for about 3 hours
-1 exchange push email
-Brightness about 40%
-1-2 hours of games
-An hour iPod
-20 minutes 3G talk time
-Texting/Checking twitter
Over the past week or so, I've noticed that my Iphone 4 battery seems to be depleting faster than it had been previously. I've also noticed that my usage time seems quite high, based on my actual usage. To test this a bit, I unplugged my phone at 100% this morning, confirmed that the "time since last full charge" counters were reset, and left my phone untouched for the next 3+ hours. After that time:
Standby: 2hrs, 41 minutes
Usage: 1hr, 13 minutes
Battery: 95%
I do have 3 email accounts configured, with the polling interval at 30 minutes. Push email is disabled. How would I have racked up 73 minutes of usage without touching the phone? I've tried rebooting the phone, but that didn't seem to have much effect...
Last night i put my phone on the charger and when I unplugged it in the morning the battery symbol showed 100% but still showed the charging symbol and stated it was charging. When I tapped on the battery symbol is had the graph but stated "battery usage data isn't available". I shut down/re-started and it still shows "battery usage data isn't available". How can I get things back to normal.

After resetting my phone and switching to Italy ROM and updating to Lumia Cyan my battery usage in Battery Saver is up to 100%. And I have to recharge my phone every day. Regardless to say that I haven't been talking any more than before so this does not make any sense.
View 2 Replies View RelatedSince have charging issues with the original cable that came with my phone breaking and getting a new phone my phone has not been accurately showing the battery usage below 60% it just cuts off there. Time wise it seems to be wearing down at a normal rate though. How do I remedy this issue?
