Galaxy S5 :: Battery Usage Data Not Available
Jul 26, 2015I have a aggravating problem that started about a month ago. My phone and battery are not communicating. I am running 5.0 It began one day, I thought I was getting great battery life. It turned out the indicator was stuck at 56% . Now it just stays at 100% . Battery life is normal, I can go all day. How much battery is left. When it's done it dies.
When I go to Battery in settings it says battery data not available. I am sure this is a software issue. Whether it is a app or the OS? After the factory reset I was very careful about what I installed. Recently installed Battery Dr. It stays at 100% as well.
Here is what I've tried.
1. Bought a new battery. This seemed to correct at first, but now both battery act the same.
2. Did a factory date reset. Again this seemed to be the fix. But the issue came back.
3. Wiped the data cache. No real change.

May 25, 2012My husband and I both have the iPhone 3GS. My husband's phone however will count on the phones data usage 20mb over night while it is charging and on our wifi. it is counting this towards his 3g usage and not wifi. We have already had APPLE reset everything at the store. it is still doing it. so he has to turn off all cellualar data usage at night or it keeps racking up the usage even though it is on our wifi. I plug my phone in at night as well and mine is not doing this

Nov 12, 2011i've got my Sensation XE 2 weeks now... and its a very nice phone, but some things are oddly wrong :S
first thing is, i looked at 3G watchdog thismorning, and my device had been eating 200 MB's of internet WHILE I WAS SLEEPING this is not normal use and i have no clue what caused it (i installed 3g watchdog pro this morning)
second thing is, my android system process seems to be eating away battery life rapidly, its using up to 40% cpu (according to watchdog) and com.htc.bg is using roughly 20% okay, i just saw something happening, i restored a backup, watched my cpu, and then my virus scanner said something about com.android.vending being installed, and i saw my android system process skyrocket in cpu usage
yes, i have rooted my phone, and yes i deleted some system applications (like facebook, htc facebook, and some other crappy useless stuff, nothing that should harm my phone)

Galaxy S5 :: Can't Adjust Data Usage
Jun 3, 2015So I got my S5 in May. That same day We all set our data warning limit at 4 gig. We have 5 phones sharing 20 gig. The other day I decide to check my data usage and it shows 8.82!! And I notice my data usage screen is totally different from what it was. Its white background with a green graph. The dates are May 6 - june 3rd todays date and I can't change that date. There is no tab to adjust for data warnings. I've had several phones and pretty sure I'm getting to the correct screen settings data usage. I'm lost! Also checked US cellular web site for my usage and it shows 1.52 GB on my phone. All the phones together usage is at 11.4GB And 8.52 remaining. I thought maybe my phone was showing Total GB used on the phones but its not. I just called us Cellular they're gonna try to do a reset on their end I'll report back if that works.

Jan 29, 2010I have recently got a Blackberry curve 8520. My contract gives me 25MB blackberry usage and 1GB per month data usage. My service provider has said I can check my blackberry usage on the phone but I cannot find how to do this. I have searched the forums and see there is an application for this. However I have been advised by the technical team at my provider that once I start putting applications on I could exceed my limit so we have taken off the facebook and ubertwitter application I had put on.Please can anyone explain what the difference between the two usage amounts are. When I go onto the browser on my phone and look at a web site it shows as blackberry usage on my call record on my internet bill but does not show the actual amount of usage. Yet when I search around for blackberry usage it appears to relate to blackberry emails.I am ploughing through the documentation here for answers. One person at the call centre says I need my bill to say internet usage for the usage to be taken from the 1GB limit the other person says it is OK to say blackberry usage.Can any one explain what the blackberry usage is for or point me in the right direction in the documentation here? Many thanks from a new blackberry owner considering cancelling the contract.
