Aug 12, 2010Had my C5-00 for a week or so now and all been ok except this morning. The time reset itself to 1am and the date to yesterday. I took off the auto clock and set it myself with the correct date. 15 or so minutes later it reverted back to 1am (but today's date this time)
I have now turned it off and back on and set the time/date (which it asks on 1st boot every time! Strange) and set it back to auto-update.
As of now it is keeping its time/date but seems strange. I have tried the phone update but it says everything is up-to-date.

Sep 11, 2011The phone internal memory is only 7.2 MB memory. Even Nokia site shows it has 10MB memory.out of this 7.2 MB the phone packed with 4.7 MB of default apps in "Apps and games", and Gallery contains some defaults pictures and default Nokia Ringtones and message tones of 2.0 MB data.Also messaging App showing 417 KB of memory used.Now my phone has only 400-600 KB memory left. And when i run the apps like. Nokia Maps, OVI Store. etc... then apps doesn't start and show message like: "Not enough device memory availabe."I have factory restored my phone and checked the memory still full. I can't delete the games which are totally waste for me. Also there is no option to move any default apps to memory card.Even i can't download any single software from third party sites which is large in size more than 300KB..This phone is working like hell and i am very furstrared with it's poorely implemeted software.have no any single Text/MMS stored in my phone memory. but it is still showing 417KB data used in messaging.Also when i try to apply any theme then it always shows "Please free some memory."

Mar 6, 2012I had to pre-install my computer with windows 7. When I connect my nokia via USB it gives "device driver software was not successfully installed"; MTP USB device failed. I have tried contacting nokia and Microsoft in vain. I have windows media player the latest version installed as they asked me to if it is from nokia.

Jul 8, 2012When an audio device is connected to my car audio, the symbol ♪ appears, telling me that not only a PHONE device is connected, but also an audio device, so that I can make calls and also listen to music (in 2 different sources: one for calls (BT Phone channel)and other for mp3 (BT Audio device) < this one with a real good audio).
I connected my nokia c3 to this car audio but it wasnt recognized as an audio device, only as a phone and the symbol ♪ didn't appear. That is, I CAN play songs, but the audio quality is horrible, trashy, as if it was a phone call (cuz it will use the bt phone source, not the bta device). But when i connect any other phone, the audio plays normally.
I got the c3 connected to my PC and it was also recognized as a phone (and also a modem) BUT NOT as an audio device.

Apr 13, 2010Two days ago, my N97 ran out of battery. Since charging it and turning it back on, it does not work!To begin with, every time I turned it on, I would press buttons and nothing happened. One time I turned it on and it asked me to enter the time and date (impossible since pressing anything didn't work). I have now learnt that I can get away with using the keypad for a while after turning it on, but if I should happen to touch the screen, it either goes back to its unresponsive, stalling, state, or it tells me that there is a system error. Jan 27, 2010After reading several threads concerning the build quality of the handsets made on Canada and Mexico, When I received my replacement handset and found that it was made in Canada (on 16 Jan 2010) I set about to finding faults in it. (I have always had a phone made in Hungry) I pressed the damn thing all over, shook it, tested the buttons and eventually FOUND that the track pad was raised at the top. Looking at it further, I discovered that what I thought was the raised bit was the ridge where the hosing meets the screen and the track pad is completely sound and flush.
Although I started (because I was convinced that Canadian and Mexican handset have inherent faults) (and my apologies to All the Canadian and Mexican people), I discovered that this handset is better than the one I had before (which was made in Hungry).Apart from everything being solid, the keypad is slightly different (in my opinion) then my old handset. The raised bits (or ridges) on each key are more prominent so when I move my finger or thumb, Iknow I am on a different key thus avoiding the typing mistakes.
I just wanted to share this because I am sure we all get influenced by what we read and although I am sure that there are some poorly build handsets out there, our starting point should be that the phone is fine, and then deal with anything else that transpires.
BB Torch :: 9860 3G Connection Fails - Blocked State
Dec 28, 2011I just bough the Torch 9860 and already replaced another one for the same problem, and since this second have the same problem, I think it is a general problem. Well the thing is that while the phone is in 3G coverage, it sometimes goes to like a "blocked" state. By this, I mean that the phone states as connected to the network and with full signal, but call wouldn't go out nor in, data is also not available, and the most important thing is that the phone doesn't show any signs of disconnection nor anything problem alike. Up until now, I have only seen this happening while in 3G coverage, and when this problem occurs, I switch the phone to 2G only and starts working fine again.

after following these instructions, the phone reset. ok. then, when going back through the welcome/getting started intro to the phone, there was still a failure of network connection, and any wi-fi connections with the correct password entered always ended in "wrong password entered," or it ignored the previous password and a vicious circle of correct password after correct password began.

Oct 13, 2015I have had my Z5 for a few weeks, and it has been great. In the last day or so it has started to reboot every few minutes. I've spent today trying to debug it with logcat (through adb).
It looks like as soon as the phone tries to go into a lower power state, it crashes and reboots. I've gone through a number of logs, and I thought it was an issue linked to bluetooth, but disabling bluetooth or going into airplane mode didn't work.
The phone is fine when it is being used, or when it is charging it is only when it is idle for about a minute (or less) and all background activities have finished (such as a sync for an app) does it reboot.
For example, listening ot music or a podcast and the phone is fine for hours. But if I stop it, even if it remains connected to the bluetooth device, it crashes.

Xperia Pro/Neo/V/L :: Battery Draining For No Obvious Reason In Idle State
Feb 29, 2012During the first month of using my Xperia pro, I was very happy with my battery: while being completely idle, the phone spent only about 1% of battery every 2 of even 3 hours. However, last month this suddenly changed to 5% every hour (in airplane mode!), without installing any applications. Actually, right after charging, the battery behaved well for several hours, and then, for no obvious reason, started the drain. Things got worse lately, and I rarely see the good behavior any more.
I tried using apps like BetterBatteryStats and CpuSpy and noted that during the drain periods my phone does not enter deep sleep state at all (i.e. it is awake 100% of the time). BBS ("Raw kernel wakelocks") reported that bq24185_watchdog_lock was active for the whole time (hours!); no other processes or wakelocks took more than few seconds. This bq24185_watchdog_lock seems to be related to the battery charge management hardware (see [URL]). How to restore the initial battery behavior. Removing the battery for a couple of minutes does not work. I have the official kernel and that my phone is not rooted.

Sep 16, 2011My triumph seems to go into low power or "sleep"mode (Black screen) and can't be woken with the side power button. The battery life doesn't seems to be the issue because it will happen when the battery is at half charge or full charge. This seems to be occurring when it has not been used in awhile (~30 minutes). The only way to use my phone again is to remove battery and reinsert. Most of the time this occurs the red light is still on and blinking, but once there was no light at all with 3/4 batter life remaining. This is my second Triumph after having a bad ear speaker in the first one. Anyone else having this issue or have any suggestions on how to fix this. I've read the posts and I am curious if it has anything to do with WIFI being on since WIFI is on all the time when I am home.
