Nokia :: Can't Get E63 To To Operate With PC Suite
Feb 9, 2010I have a brand new Nokia E63.I can't get the Nokia PC suite to 'see' it.I have uninstalled, reinstalled the software - got the most up to date, mad sure I run the Nokia cleaner software to remove all traces, tried the cable drivers, selected the right connection mode on the phone (and tried all the others), got the right CA-101 USB cable (brand new), and followed all the help screens and files I can find. In short I have tried every combination I can think of (and I'm handy around a PC), but the software suite still it can't see the phone when it goes to look for it.I can't even change the connection mode on the phone to mass storage device and get windows to see it when I plug in the USB connection.In short I am totally baffled and can't find my micro SD card reader so connecting the phone is my only current option to update my SD card data. I would certainly welcome some pointers as I can't think of anything else to try and have literally spent hours trying to get it to work. Absolutely nothing happens when I plug the phone into the PC and this seems so odd - normally windows sees something.Running Windows XP on a HP Compaq nx 6325 with Zone Alarm virus and firewall in the background if that makes any difference.

Apr 9, 2012my iPhone fell on the floor yesterday; now it will ony operate when connected to the PC - then it works fine. If I disconnect it from the PC, the screen reverts to black with the apple logo, eventually completely black; iPhone is unresponsive until reconnected to PC.

Sep 11, 2011The phone internal memory is only 7.2 MB memory. Even Nokia site shows it has 10MB memory.out of this 7.2 MB the phone packed with 4.7 MB of default apps in "Apps and games", and Gallery contains some defaults pictures and default Nokia Ringtones and message tones of 2.0 MB data.Also messaging App showing 417 KB of memory used.Now my phone has only 400-600 KB memory left. And when i run the apps like. Nokia Maps, OVI Store. etc... then apps doesn't start and show message like: "Not enough device memory availabe."I have factory restored my phone and checked the memory still full. I can't delete the games which are totally waste for me. Also there is no option to move any default apps to memory card.Even i can't download any single software from third party sites which is large in size more than 300KB..This phone is working like hell and i am very furstrared with it's poorely implemeted software.have no any single Text/MMS stored in my phone memory. but it is still showing 417KB data used in messaging.Also when i try to apply any theme then it always shows "Please free some memory."

Update now?"I have selected "Update Now" at least 4 times...and after less than a minute, I receive the message that "All apps are up to date."I have turned the phone completely off twice, in an attempt to "reboot" it, but still get the same above messages. Mar 6, 2012I had to pre-install my computer with windows 7. When I connect my nokia via USB it gives "device driver software was not successfully installed"; MTP USB device failed. I have tried contacting nokia and Microsoft in vain. I have windows media player the latest version installed as they asked me to if it is from nokia.

Jul 8, 2012When an audio device is connected to my car audio, the symbol ♪ appears, telling me that not only a PHONE device is connected, but also an audio device, so that I can make calls and also listen to music (in 2 different sources: one for calls (BT Phone channel)and other for mp3 (BT Audio device) < this one with a real good audio).
I connected my nokia c3 to this car audio but it wasnt recognized as an audio device, only as a phone and the symbol ♪ didn't appear. That is, I CAN play songs, but the audio quality is horrible, trashy, as if it was a phone call (cuz it will use the bt phone source, not the bta device). But when i connect any other phone, the audio plays normally.
I got the c3 connected to my PC and it was also recognized as a phone (and also a modem) BUT NOT as an audio device.
