Nokia Applications :: Ovi Maps Challenge Won't Operate

I just installed a new app: Ovi Maps Challenge, but it will not play. Every attempt to open it results in a mesage that "This app requires Flash Lite 3. Install it or latest phone software. Update now?"I have selected "Update Now" at least 4 times...and after less than a minute, I receive the message that "All apps are up to date."I have turned the phone completely off twice, in an attempt to "reboot" it, but still get the same above messages. I have also opened the Nokia Ovi Suite (2.2.1.23) on my PC, with the Nuron 5230 connected, but that merely confirms that my version of the Suite and the Nuron software are both up to date.What can I do to get Ovi Maps Challenge to function (and / or update Flash Lite 3)?
I have broken my N900. The 32GB EMMC has been disconnected electrically from the phone's PCB and the remaining RAM is far too small to work properly. Can I use the micro-SD card as virtual memory for the phone? Can a Maemo / Linux expert out there suggest something otherwise it goes in to the skip!
i seem to be having a bluetooth challenge in not getting all the drivers.on my desktop (win 7/64bit) i am connected and can transfer files just fine. it took a while but finally all the drivers kicked in after a number of attempts.however, on my booklet 3g, win7/32bit, i cannot send files from my n900 to my booklet, only FROM my booklet.
seems no matter what i do i cannot get my booklet to load the additional drivers.in lookin on my phone in the bluetooth settings between what is different:on my desktop connection under supported profies: a2dp, ftp, hsp, opp and on my booklet connection under supprted profies: *blank*
so i think the issue is obvious there. but i dont understand why the phone is not sending the bluetooth drivers or the booklet is not being able to find the drivers to make my transfers work correctly.i have tried going to broadcom and downloading the latest driver package (did this for my desktop) but when i launch it, it doesnt even find my bluetooth adapter in my booklet, says to turn it on, but no matter what i do, (it is on) it will not recognize it to move on...
I have the Nokia 6600 slide, and I would like to uninstall the Nokia Maps application, because I hardly use it and it takes a lot of space on the memory card (the maps). I suppose that I can just delete the maps in order to free the memory of the card, however would like to know if there is a "proper"
i have a nokia e7 and i wondering if i was able to change the units set on it.Currently it is set on kph and i want it to be in mph as this is the standard unit in the UK.
I lost my map application on nokia 500 and I can't get it back, first I experienced a problem with the check in service now the whole application is goneeven though I downloaded nokia maps v 3.08 from the internet and after installing it it wont open idk what else to do
There used to be a navigate button in nokia maps that linked my maps to nokia drive. It is now gone. Does anyone know how to get it back? using a Lumia 920, latest version of maps and drive
I just received my Nokia Asha 303 which I have won from a competition, and I was surprised to find out that what everyone on the Internet has been saying was true: NO Nokia maps for Nokia Asha 303 units here in the Philippines.Is this some sort of factory defect, or was it intended to be like this? My colleague and I can think of one good reason why it could be intended, but I won't mention it anymore.I just get irritated by the fact that all the other countries have this functionality, and I am not able to enjoy it simply because I reside in the Philippines. Will there be a software update soon that will address this issue? If not, will there be in the future?
I recently updated my n8-00 to symbian anna. When I use the map loader to download australian maps I get the status bar showing the download progress then when it gets to the end it says 'Unrecoverable download error' and no maps are loaded.
Since the last update of maps for Nokia Maps, if I want to use my Nokia 500 as a GPS, I get the message: Car navigation can't start at this location (Autonavigatie kan niet op deze locatie beginnen.) I reinstalled the maps I needed. I even reinstalled the Phone firmware. Software version: 111.021.0028.
I have a Nokia N97 on T-Mobile UK with software v21.0.045 This is the latest version I believe. When I check Nokia's website on how to download the free sat nav version of maps my phone won't let me do it. Nokia says I have to go to applications then sw updates. I do not have a software update option via applications. I can check for sw updates via settings - phone - phone mgmt - device updates - options - check for updates. It appears to receive information from t-mobile but does not display anything on the phone. No options to download ovi maps or anything else. Is there a direct download link that i can simply just click and then install the ovi maps 3.03 from my pc suite's application manager.
I have a brand new Nokia E63.I can't get the Nokia PC suite to 'see' it.I have uninstalled, reinstalled the software - got the most up to date, mad sure I run the Nokia cleaner software to remove all traces, tried the cable drivers, selected the right connection mode on the phone (and tried all the others), got the right CA-101 USB cable (brand new), and followed all the help screens and files I can find. In short I have tried every combination I can think of (and I'm handy around a PC), but the software suite still it can't see the phone when it goes to look for it.I can't even change the connection mode on the phone to mass storage device and get windows to see it when I plug in the USB connection.In short I am totally baffled and can't find my micro SD card reader so connecting the phone is my only current option to update my SD card data. I would certainly welcome some pointers as I can't think of anything else to try and have literally spent hours trying to get it to work. Absolutely nothing happens when I plug the phone into the PC and this seems so odd - normally windows sees something.Running Windows XP on a HP Compaq nx 6325 with Zone Alarm virus and firewall in the background if that makes any difference.
Nokia Maps app cannot connect to the internet. It remains in the offline mode. On trying connecting to internet connection failed is displayed. How could I make nokia maps online?
Is there a way to have the second sim active for data only and disable voice calls on it? I need this for two reasons: Not having to see the popup and choose a sim every time I make a phone call.Eliminate the possibility of choosing the wrong sim when making a phone call, since the second sim is intended for data only.Â
my iPhone fell on the floor yesterday; now it will ony operate when connected to the PC - then it works fine. If I disconnect it from the PC, the screen reverts to black with the apple logo, eventually completely black; iPhone is unresponsive until reconnected to PC.
I have a N85 Navi which I bought less than a year ago. I updated this week the maps and the application (latest version)and added one voice for the navigation. After this update when I open the Maps and select Settings and Navigation (to change i.e. voice), Maps closes automatically without any error messages. I can open all the other settings sub-menus. Any ideas why this is happening? Do I have the to re-install the application, maps and voices?
I am using Nokia Maps 3.03 on my E71 (language: German) plus Nokia Map Loader 3.0, but I am experiencing several problems: Nokia Maps goes online via Internet for a few seconds (which costs me) although I set it to my Wireless connection. How can I switch that off? Every time I load a new map (and voices) via Map Loader and then start the software on my E71, it tells me that the maps are out-dated and I need to delete them. But then I do not see any maps in the software, and also the load of the voice is gone.

I have a problem with my Maps Application. Firstly I only have 9 icons on the Maps display page instead of the 10 that is shown on the Nokia website, I have found I do not have the Michelin guides........any ideas why?
I cannot download the Here and Now 2.0, it states that the Installation failed and have tried many times to reinstall it. Does this have anything to do with the missing Michelin Guide icon not being there?
I updated today to Maps 3.01. (To be noted that Ovi Suite still considers there is a new version of Maps available and would download and install 3.01 again any times I click on update.) When starting Maps the load screen with progress bar appears, then I can see an "empty" map. No keys work. After a few seconds (around 10 or so) the phone restarts.I deleted Cities folder and the file QF, rebooted, reinstalled etc. nothing helps.
The maps in my Nokia X6 16gb are gone after i ran an update in which it says will delete the old maps and voices to replace newer ones. Upon completion of the update, when i checked maps that are available in my device,Instead of new updated maps, there is only 1 map left which is Hong Kong and Macau, and i don't live in either one of it. Tried downloading the maps through the Ovi Suite, always got the message "The connection to the Ovi Maps server timed out"
I purchased Xperia Neo V a few days back and today I connected the phone to the PC through USB and it started charging. Surprisingly I was not able to operate the phone while it was charging (screen was not responding to the tap or touch). This is really annoying, cos I purchased the set only a few days back.

I HOPE THE IS APROBLEM IN SETTING.
I've bought a new 5800 Xpress music recently and have three questions with Ovi maps: 1. I don't see any satellite (photo) maps when selecting the satellite mode in the display options; instead, the map is just filled with a pattern of alternating dark green and light green linear areas. How do I enable real satellite data, as shown in the attached picture? 2. The update speed of the map when navigating on foot or by car seems very slow. Is there some way to increase / improve this? 3. The phone doesn't seem to recognize really well if I hold it vertically or horizontally. Can I improve that behavior, or switch between manually?
My Pearl 8120 is becoming unusable due to its faulty roller ball. I want to replace it with a Pearl 9100. My current carrier is T-Mobile and I'd like to keep it because three other lines are on this account with mine.I believe I can get a code from RIM to unblock the SIM, is that right?T-Mobile does not have the BlackBerry 6.0 OS.Assuming I can unblock my SIM, will the phone run on T-Mobile's system or will I have to change carriers?
May I know C903 GPS is absolutely free or not? I know it connect with satellite but it need internet-connections? Need costs? When using GPS ,need any navigation to operate? What is Navigation use for? GPS same with Navigation?
I have the 32 gig iPhone 4.It runs so slow. I press a key on the keyboard and it won't type it on the screen for 3 seconds.If I select an app it takes forever to load and if I tap a picture in the album it showed it all pixilated foe almostt 3 seconds then becomes clear.Is there any way to get it to run fast again by DEFRAG ing the drive or is there a way to clear old stuff out of its background to help it run fast again? Eg. Like Internet history's casch ect.?
