Apr 6, 2015So I originally tried to update one of my apps that I've been using for awhile when I got the "insufficient space on the device" error message, so then I uninstalled it and tried to download it again and still get the error message.
The app is 20.09MB in size and I currently have 445MB of available space on my Samsung Galaxy S5.
I went through and uninstalled a bunch of apps that I just don't use anymore as well as moved a bunch over to my SD card and yep still getting the message so I don't understand what's going on?
I also tried downloading other apps just to see if it was something within that app or if it's my phone but I get it.

Oct 14, 2011I am a developer and I'm working on a prototype application using Qt on my E7-00.
I would like the users of my application to use maps in offline mode.
So If I use Nokia Ovi Suit , it will take hours to download all the maps (approx 9 GB of data)..more importantly ovi suit refuses to download maps if my phone is not connected to the pc.
Is there a way I can download the maps as a zip file or something from my pc and then later install them on my phone? If yes..where can I find the downlaod links? I am using an E7-00 with Symbain Anna update (round icons..cool!!)

May 23, 2011I have a BB Curve 8520 for 2 weeks now and I still cannot download apps.At first, I had the 4.6 version and I couldn't find BB apps world on my BB so I uprgraded it (5v).Now I have BB apps world I have the possibility to download apps but it doesn't work! Every time I get the same message "Cannot download apps from Blackberry app world...".

Aug 21, 2010I recently received a message telling me that an update was available for App World. I downloaded the update, installed it and rebooted. Now I am unable to download apps. When I hit the download button it takes me to the sign in for BlackBerry ID, then to terms and conditions and then to my ID settings! The only way I can get off this screen is to press Discard, which takes me back to where I started! I just keep going round in circles.

2) How long will this handset's battery run a GPS app like Backcountry Navigator? I typically go into airplane mode to conserve battery (no cell signal where I go typically anyway) and just use GPS.

Jun 7, 2010I've being trying to update my device software but it's impossible, not even downloading the archive from the web.
Everytime I plug in my phone and open the blackberry manager to do whaterver it gives me the message that I haven't installed the Blackberry Device Manager . I updated my desktop manager to version 5.0, and I tried to update my device software and it says that I don't have any updates, after that I have deleted the files device.xml and vendor.xml but again when I plugged in my phone it comes the message that the Blackberry Device Manager is not installed. I've uninstalled the desktop manager and it let me use once but again no update for my phone software and then again the same message that i haven't installed the Blackberry Device Manager
My carrier company here in Ecuador wont help me cause I bought the phone in the USA, but anyways I have friends that have the same problem as and they have bought in Ecuador to Movistar (my carrier) the same phone and the update to 5.0 doesn't work.

It then asks me to enter in my blackberry ID which I do, it then takes me to my information [such as email, username] and gives me options to change my password and recovery question but nothing else. I can't go forward and if I go back I just start again with the download screen and go around in circles!I've uninstalled and reinstalled app world, I've updated the OS, I've tried sending the link from my laptop to the BB but nothing works and I'm getting a tad cranky.

Aug 18, 2012I recently brought the new 9320. I have the basic San Disk memory card which come with the Blackberry. Also as soon as I brought the phone I downloaded the Blackberry Desktop Support software. The desktop software and the storage options on the phone both say that I have a 14.4MB remaining on the phone storage and 1.4GB remaining on my memory card. When I attempt to download apps on the phone through my Wi-Fi it says that there is not enough space remaining. I assume that the phone only attempts to download the app to the device memory. Is there a way that I can get the phone to automatically download the app directly to my memory card? Or is there some other problem which is stopping me downloading apps?

Mar 20, 2011I've had my BB 8900 for 1 week and I'm already thinking it is the single worst thing I've ever purchased.I've got the problem whereby I cannot download apps from BBAW (18 icon and skysports - one paid for, the other free). I've tried every fix found on forums and from google'ing the problem. What works for some is not working for me. I'm getting the error "There was a problem during installation. try again" Then:Blackberry App World is having trouble connecting to the Blackberry App World server. Verify your network connections and try again." BBAW then closes and nada.I've tried updating my BB, changing me BB id, paypal logon, resetting the BBAW using the ALT RST thingy, tried wireless on, wireless off, turning all connections off, restarting the device, hard reset, soft reset, logging out of BBAW, closing the app etc. Tried all the KB's found online and un/reinstallign BBAW. I've googled this for the last 3 days, constantly. Is there anything else I can try before I smash what started to be a great phone into pieces on the back of the useless BBAW.

BB Curve :: 9300 Won't Set Up Emails Or Download Apps
Sep 5, 2011I bought a 9300 literally yesterday, and I'm using it with my current contract sim (which includes data) until I can get a blackberry contract.Apart from the fact that I was abroad this morning, had to turn off mobile services and use only wifi, and I couldn't browse past google (I did use the hotspot browser)...I want to set up my email even though I read I can't get push until I get BB service. However I seem to be lacking the wizard. When I try to set up an email account I get asked whether I have something something Enterprise (which I don't) and can't answer anything but yes. There is a selected dot I can't de-select. So I can't use my email.Also I didn't have App World, so I downloaded it from the browser, and now its in my menu. However if I try and log in with my BB account I get an error and the app crashes, even though the details are correct. So I can't download anything.

May 31, 2012I bought my BB Curve 9360 second hand and, despite making sure I was on a BB supported contract with Orange, have never been able to successfully download apps from appworld. I press 'download' and up comes the Agree/ Disagree box, which disappears after I select 'Agree'. And then - nothing. It has returned to the previous screen detailing information about the app and when I check my downloads, there it isn't. I have experienced a similar thing when I go on the payment methods option - I select 'Agree' and the screen doesn't change. I've been on several other forums but can't find any which have the same problem.I don't understand whether it's my BB or Orange or what?!
