Does anyone know the file in /sys that the current battery state is located? I would very much like the precise % and this app Elixir 2 has the capabilities if that system file is known.

View 7 Replies View RelatedUsing the stock File Manager app I can see audio files on my Maxx HD's internal storage and also on the SD card. I happen to be looking at ringtone files. If I tap on the filename to play the ringtone, Amazon Cloudplayer pops up and shows all the music files on my SD card. No ringtones can be found. If I back out of Amazon Cloudplayer and use the file manager to try finding and playing ANY audio file on EITHER my SD card or the internal storage I get sent to Amazon Cloudplayer. I then have to use the back button to get back to the file manager icon in the App drawer. Same thing happens if I try to play audio files on my SD card. Amazon Cloud Player pops up. I don't want to use Amazon Cloud Player to play an audio file in SD storage.
If I connect my phone to my PC and navigate to the ringtones on internal storage and click on them they play as per usual (Windows media player). If I use my PC to play audio files on the SD card they play as usual.Why does my phone default to Amazon Cloud Player when I tap on an audio file in File Manager? What is the stock audio file player on the Maxx HD? Why can't I browse to an audio file with the file manager and tap on it and have it play? How do I fix this?
I keep getting a "Bluetooth Changing State" message at the bottom of the screen. The only way to get it to go away is to putll the battery. Within a short period of time it returns.

I thought it was my accidental error until it happened to her and then it reoccurred again and again on my phone.
Is there any information on the max current draw for charging the Droid Razr? Both wall chargers I have output 750ma but I believe my car charger only puts out 700ma. Will charging the phone on a charger with too low current output damage the phone? Will it damage the charger? Or is the phone smart enough to throttle the current usage to what's available? I'm assuming the latter is the case since I can't find any warning on charging current. Will a higher output charger (say 1A or 2A) charge the phone faster? Will it affect the longevity of the battery (slow vs fast charge)?
View 2 Replies View RelatedSo they finally added the ability to share info about the current song you're listening to with friends, however when it comes up with the content of what to send it says "Me recommends <song name> by <artist name>", and continues on with the link to info, etc. Where is it picking up the "Me"? Obviously I have to tell the system who I am somewhere, but haven't found any option inside the Music player nor in the Contacts to specify one of them as my own contact.
View 6 Replies View RelatedDuring the first month of using my Xperia pro, I was very happy with my battery: while being completely idle, the phone spent only about 1% of battery every 2 of even 3 hours. However, last month this suddenly changed to 5% every hour (in airplane mode!), without installing any applications. Actually, right after charging, the battery behaved well for several hours, and then, for no obvious reason, started the drain. Things got worse lately, and I rarely see the good behavior any more.
I tried using apps like BetterBatteryStats and CpuSpy and noted that during the drain periods my phone does not enter deep sleep state at all (i.e. it is awake 100% of the time). BBS ("Raw kernel wakelocks") reported that bq24185_watchdog_lock was active for the whole time (hours!); no other processes or wakelocks took more than few seconds. This bq24185_watchdog_lock seems to be related to the battery charge management hardware (see [URL]). How to restore the initial battery behavior. Removing the battery for a couple of minutes does not work. I have the official kernel and that my phone is not rooted.
I received a "like-new" replacement today, hopefully with the new silicone actuators. The box had the green dot on the flap, but the "test date" on the opposite side of the box is Jan 21, 2010. Where do I locate the 3 digit date code inside the battery cavity?

When I look at the battery use in Settings/Battery Information it shows items such as WIFI at 4+% ( WIFI not even on) or a game I played (today Jewels Star at 25% - only was to make this one disappear is to uninstall the program, this is true with any game I play). My question is, is this information about what WAS running or information on what IS running. or both.

I'm trying to figure out how to create the file name that the app is looking for.
I have tried all combinations I can think of but cannot attach a file on the Droid to an outbound e-mail.
I start to compose, put in the address, move to the body, hit the menu button, select attach file, select a file..... and then I get dumped back out at the inbox and when I open the draft, there is the original e-mail address and a new one too. but no attachment.
The ICS update file was downloaded to my wifes' Bionic and we do not plan to perform the installation.How can I delete the file and stop the 'do you wish to do the install?' prompts? The phone is NOT rooted and we do not wish to do so.

View 3 Replies View Relatedafter purchasing a charm with motoblur last week, i was able to set up my motoblur account through wi-fi, send and receive messages as tests to make sure the phone was working through providers at&t and t-mobile (because i had unlocked and inserted an existing british simcard on the network "3"). i opted to not enter the browser/marketplace due to the price of roaming abroad.after travelling back to the uk today, i was able to make a couple of calls and around twenty sms's with no problems whatsoever, but as i was not roaming abroad any more, i tried the browser, marketplace, maps and Internet. none of these worked due to the network state being disconnected, despite being connected to the provider "3" (found going through settings>status>network connection state: disconnected). thus when returning home, i hunted around the internet on the computer to find a way for browsing to return, just in case i'd by accident declined something earlier in the week. i came upon the "master reset / factory data reset" page on the website: https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/49373/~/charm---master-reset-%2f-factory-data-reset
after following these instructions, the phone reset. ok. then, when going back through the welcome/getting started intro to the phone, there was still a failure of network connection, and any wi-fi connections with the correct password entered always ended in "wrong password entered," or it ignored the previous password and a vicious circle of correct password after correct password began.
