Nov 11, 2011I have purchased nokia c6-00 before one month. It is hanging and touch is also not working. The mobile is getting problem in short period. So I am not happy with this phone.

Sep 6, 2012I am extremely fed up with my Nokia Phone as the touch is not working properly. Touching the screen always selects the wrong icons. Left side of the screen is not working at all.Did not expect this to happen with a Nokia Product.

Sep 6, 2012I have buy nokia C5-05 on 05 march 2012 with in 15 day the touch screen problem arise.for repair i submitted my mobile in shahajanpur Nokia care.after 1 month 10 day i received my mobile the nokia care worker told me that they have install a new touch screen.so the mobile touch screen will work properly.but with in a day the same problem a rise with the mobile. so i have again resubmitted 3 time in nokia care,but my mobile touch screen not working properly, changing the mobile touch screen.Or i will file a case in consumer court.

Oct 10, 2011a nokia c6 00.Now it is 9months old. Nw my phones touch screen is not working.... I think the touchscreen is jammed... But screen looks normal... My touchscreen vibration and sound are active in my profile.... But no vibration or sound is heard... When i opened drawing app it gave a response,...Just vibrated and heard a tone... But nothing appears on the canvas (drawing app's canvas.....means on the screen)...now my phone shows there is an importan update... And i cant update it b'coz the touch screen isn't working.

Nov 26, 2011The touch screen suddenly stopped working from last night It was still working at 2 am when i went to bed to set an alarm.This morning i wouldnt press anything..I tried hard reset byholding odwn the 3 buttons, and now it askes for choice of language and i cant press anything.I also tried restoring it using Nokia Suite, and nothing has worked. I think it might have been a hardware problems.Right now it is still udner warannty. Is there anothing i can do before i bring it in? I currently live in hurstville (NSW) i dont know how ot use the "find a store" it keeps giving me stores in sydney CBD.

Sep 22, 2011I have purchased Nokia C6-01 in March 2011 and faced a serious problem from 17 Sep 11 that my phone touch screen freez several times when I have received calls or SMS or in apps running. I called for Nokia Support in Careline and also support mail, they assist me to reset the factory settings and reinstall the latest software. I did those tasks but unfortunately the Handset remains in same problem. After that I took it in Nokia Care Center, they took time day long and reinstall the software again claiming that the problem might be in software update, after they returned my set and before I reached my Home the problem again arised.

Sep 17, 2012My Nokia C3-01 randomly gets its touch capabilities disabled that I need to remove its battery just to restart it. Plus, it also restarts randomly then starts up very slowly at that same moment.
I have reformatted it with the latest version using Nokia Suite 3.5.34, I think this has something to do with the patch, it does not happen more frequent compare from the previous version of its software.

Feb 8, 2010Couldnt use touch screen at all suddenly today, I reinstalled the latest firmware update but it didnt help so did full reset and now Ive got the countries screen but can only scroll down 3 countries and cannot select any (select and cancel dont work) also the media bar keeps randomly flashing onto the screen. Anyone any idea what's causing this? It hasnt been dropped or anything, first I knew was I couldnt turn off the alarm this morning. I dont know how to go about getting it repaired as it was a competition prize in july 2009 and didnt come with any warranty documents.

It is my first time to by a nokia touch screen phone and now the touch screen is not working any more. I tried to update the software to version 6.but no change. Nov 25, 2012Have anyone else noticed that when you plug in the charger the touch screen slows down and doesn't respond properly especially with swiping and scrolling? E.g. instead of swiping it selects item.Try it with lists or a webpage and you should notice that, if you have the same issues.

Mar 19, 2010Since upgrading the phone to V21.0.045 I've had intermittent problems with the touch screen vibrate stopping working, which has fixed itself after a reboot. Also the unreliable slide lock problem has returned with this update. Now, as of this evening vibrate and even the small kick given when you switch on has stopped working. Not fixable by a reboot or taking the battery out.
I'm wondering if this is a hardware issue, simply worn out after 7 months or to do with V21? Can't reinstall V21, the new version of updater won't let me do it.

Apr 5, 2011I was a proud owner of the Nokia X6 since June 2010 till now recently. Every time I send an SMS or edit a contact, it restart itself. Everytime....
I took it back to MTNSP and they told me it cannot be fixed and they gave me a new handset.
The new handset: Now its a new problem, everytime I download software from Ovi, it start hanging, touchscreen not working. I switch it off and on again and it works for about 30 seconds and hangs/freezes. It does this everytime. I tried to delete the programs again but it keeps on doing the same thing. I tried to scan with antivirus program but still no solution

May 12, 2012I was taking a shower; the Lumia 900 on the bathroom counter like I've always had my iPhone 3G. I got a call, dried off, used it, and the buttons on the phone became frozen and all touch input was no longer working. I finally soft reset the device by holding down the power button for 15 seconds (ignore the pull down to shut down tile, you can't drag it) and reset and it works again, but I am concerned. A little bit of humidity seems to have knocked it out, but it may be a coincidence.

When i swipe (ex. for scrolling on the app list) then the phone some times detects the swipe as a tap, and then might open an app og an URL, or what ever is under my finger when it happens. This behavier is very random, and usually happens at the start of swiping (eg. detects me putting my finger on the screen and not lifting it again, but swiping, as a tap).

Jul 8, 2010I just got this phone last week and am quite happy with it. However, I am now having an issue. I updated the sofware through the Nokia updating system through Ovi Suite and now all of a sudden my 1-touch dialing doesn't work properly. I had #2 setup with a name and photograph, but it got wiped during the update. Now I can't assign any names/numbers to any of the 1-touch spots, it just acts like it does. I double-press the number, it takes me to the contacts list, I press the name I want, then hit Select at the bottom of the screen, then it takes me back to the 1-touch screen but doesn't assign the contact to that number. The same thing when I go to Options>Assign, hit the name, Select. Nothing. Has any body else had this problem? If so how is it solved? I couldn't find any mention of it in these message boards. I do use this feature quite often so I'd like to get it fixed.

Nokia: Caller Touch Screen Not Working On 5800 Xpressmusic
Aug 6, 2010I just bought a 5800 Xpressmusic and am going through the learning phase of how to use this phone. So far pretty pleased with what I have figured out how to use but have run into a couple problems. Not sure if I have set up something wrong or if there may be something wrong with the phone. The first problem is the touch screen functions (i.e. answer, silence, options, reject) do not work when I get a call. So sometimes when I hit the "green" button if will connect, but sometimes it will hang up on whomever was calling. I am using AT&T as my provider. The second problem that I am having now is playing music. It used to work, but now it will not play any songs that I have loaded thorough Ovi program. Even the "back" function key is non-responsive, however, the "option" function key does work.
