My touchscreen vibration and sound are active in my profile.... But no vibration or sound is heard... When i opened drawing app it gave a response,...Just vibrated and heard a tone... But nothing appears on the canvas (drawing app's canvas.....means on the screen)...now my phone shows there is an importan update... And i cant update it b'coz the touch screen isn't working.

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy C6-00 (RM-612) was working fine all this while...and then I upgraded to 41.0.010 (Custom Version 41.0.010.C01.01).
After a day or two of the upgrade, I noticed that the touch left side of the screen drifted ... ie when I press * it dials 0. However the right side seems fine.
I tried the touch screen calibration but nothing happens when I tap the center of the top-left corner bullseye.
I bought this handset 5 months back now i am facing a wierd problem , the right side of the touch screen is not responding. I tried to restore factory setting but when lock code is asked i cannot press 3 .

The touch screen suddenly stopped working from last night It was still working at 2 am when i went to bed to set an alarm.This morning i wouldnt press anything..I tried hard reset byholding odwn the 3 buttons, and now it askes for choice of language and i cant press anything.I also tried restoring it using Nokia Suite, and nothing has worked. I think it might have been a hardware problems.Right now it is still udner warannty. Is there anothing i can do before i bring it in? I currently live in hurstville (NSW) i dont know how ot use the "find a store" it keeps giving me stores in sydney CBD.

I called for Nokia Support in Careline and also support mail, they assist me to reset the factory settings and reinstall the latest software. I did those tasks but unfortunately the Handset remains in same problem. After that I took it in Nokia Care Center, they took time day long and reinstall the software again claiming that the problem might be in software update, after they returned my set and before I reached my Home the problem again arised.

But after that, my the touchscreen of my hand-phone totally disabled (not responding at all). We have the Xperia Ray and it has been working fine for about 6 weeks until the other day when the screen stopped working and we are therefore unable to access the phone. View 1 Replies View RelatedI bought my Nokia X3-02 in 2011. It worked well for 11 months and in the 12th month, its touchscreen stopped working. It was under warranty so I went to Nokia service centre and they changed the Touch screen Digitizer.It worked well for few days and meanwhile its warranty expired. Now it has the same problem and the touch screen doesn't work at all. So, I put the phone back to the phone and started using my other phone.after 2-3 days, I thought that I should take the phone to the service centre, so removed the batter and inserted the SIM card. I started the phone and touch screen was working fine. I thought, I am lucky as the touch screen is working now. But after few hours probably 3-4, the touch screen stopped working again. Quite weird behaviour.So, if i put the phone to off for around 1 day and starts using it again then the touch works and after few hours it stops working again. I went to service centre again and they said, they would firstly change the touch screen ( price INR 1500) and after that they could comment on the phone's behaviour.
UPDATE: I have updated the phone firmware to latest one. Touch works even after 5 hours but not the exact point of contact.. When i try to press Menu, it always activates the Address/exit button, so the wherever you touch it activates the right side of the area.
My dad got mad took my phone and started stomping on it with the heel of his shoe. I just now have gotten it back and at first glance, there is no damage. But after turning it on, the touch screen doesnt work. No matter how hard i press or anything, nothing happens. I do not have apple care warranty. So my question to you is do any of you guys know of a place that can fix this. The glass isnt broken, just the part that senses that you are touching the glass is.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently bought a Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V (MT11). I locked the screen using the Power button of the phone. I have set a password for unlocking my phone. Now, when i press the "Home" key of the phone, the screen comes alive with keypad for punching-in the password but the touchscreen is not responding so i am not able to punch-in the password. I am getting calls on my cell phone but i cannot receive the calls since I cannot slide the "green" button on screen to right (which is the usual way to receive the calls). Could you guys please help me make my phone screen responsive again. This is a brand new phone, just a couple of days old and no apps installed other than loaded by the Company itself.

I can not even switch that off and if I plug it in to the charger, still the mobile doesn't get charged. View 7 Replies View RelatedCouldnt use touch screen at all suddenly today, I reinstalled the latest firmware update but it didnt help so did full reset and now Ive got the countries screen but can only scroll down 3 countries and cannot select any (select and cancel dont work) also the media bar keeps randomly flashing onto the screen. Anyone any idea what's causing this? It hasnt been dropped or anything, first I knew was I couldnt turn off the alarm this morning. I dont know how to go about getting it repaired as it was a competition prize in july 2009 and didnt come with any warranty documents.
