When i opened my nokia browser it said that "UPDATE IS AVAILABLE" so i updated it.But after update was complete it told mt that "SOFTWARE NOT SUPPORTED"The again i tried to open the browser but it wont open. Now i can't surf the internet since the other java browser like opera also doesn't work.

Since then, whenever I touch "Internet" icon in the menu (or "Store"), nothing happens, even after several minutes. The icon is highlighted as soon as I tap it, but the app never starts.I reinstalled the software but nothing happened. I restored phone original settings, but it still doesn't work.I had a backup of a couple days ago and restored it too, still no luck.

So I cannot write things, post or access mail, for example, because that requires you to actually type things. All this browser lets me do is hover over the box where you type things in, but not actually type anything on it.

When i click a link or open web browser, it opens for a few seconds then shuts down. Other browsers like skyfire work fine and other apps open fine. View 2 Replies View Relatedmy nokia c3 keypad is not working, i may have got it wet, i don't know, but itll turn on, and if i've taken the battery out, itll let me set the date and time, but once i get passed that stage, itll just stay on the homescreen and buzzes when calls and txts come through but the keypad freezes. it'll let me also turn it off but other than that nothing. I dont know what to do? it seems weird the keypad will work for turning it on/off and numbers(date and time) until i get to the home screen..

And the other web-related icons (Download!, Files on Ovi; Software Update) don't work. Moreover, Download! reports "Unrecoverable error".
It started on 201.12.01 firmware, thought that update would help. 202.12.01 brought no changes.Factory reset wasn't helpful too. Tried uninstalling Opera mobile 10 beta, changing language, also - no changes.
I just installed Opera Mobile 11.5 APAC on my phone. Works excellent.
I went to Settings > Application Settings > Default Applications Changed "Browsing Internet" from Web to Opera Mobile.
When I click a link in an SMS or from a Qt App, the Nokia Browser is called? Why is "Default Browser" not working?
