I just installed Opera Mobile 11.5 APAC on my phone. Works excellent.
I went to Settings > Application Settings > Default Applications Changed "Browsing Internet" from Web to Opera Mobile.
When I click a link in an SMS or from a Qt App, the Nokia Browser is called? Why is "Default Browser" not working?
I changed the Default applications | Browsing internet setting from Web to Opera Mini. This does not seem to affect anything. Unless I actually start Opera Mobile, any application that has a URL link will start the default N97 browser instead of Opera Mobile.
Is there something else I need to do in order to change the default browser on the N97?
hey friends,i wanted to know if there is any way of switching opera mini browser to default browser as the nokia browser is much slower than the opera mini. I would also like to know what is making thw nokia browser so slow compared to others.

When I closed the software update and started to use the opera mini and Nokia store, the Nokia store app is closing on its own. Other problems with fp2 are, camera takes long time to open. This gets resolved after i turn the phone off and on but i don't want to keep doing that. When i click a link or open web browser, it opens for a few seconds then shuts down. Other browsers like skyfire work fine and other apps open fine. I have 38MB C: memory left and only have nokia messaging and memory up pro open. Any idea how to resolve this?
