Cseries :: C7 Open Applications Menu Alternative Key

I just noticed that while sliding the screen from top left corner all the way to top right corner (network indicator to battery indicator), Open Applications menu pops up!!! I mean the same function happens as by holding down the menu button or just tapping options, open applications.Was this functionality always there, and I was the only one that didn't know about it? Cause it makes things really easy.

i buy my C3-00 last year of sept...i just thought there something wrong about my sim card signal reception but it's been a while now when i noticed it.my problem is i can't open my sim menu application now whenever i wanted to inquire my load balance...unlike before.

I just buy asha 202 ... I was using mail function to access my gmail but after using 1st day it gets disappear from main menu and when i switchd off and restart the phone its get appear and after using phone for 1 minute it gets disappearkindly assist me i m very disappointd with dis type of errors in new phone of nokia

i have a Nokia C2-02 touch&type. Why i can't open some apps after i restore my phone? One of it is the COMMUNITY app. Everytime i want to open it, it says "invalid application. delete?".

I can't open the settings menu - it just keeps crashing.
It started today and the phone had been getting really hot and draining battery at twice the speed it normally does, so I wanted to check battery usage in settings, which is when i discovered the fault.
Whether I try to access it through the main icon or via the pull-down tray icon, it just flashed white as if it was opening a new window, then returned to the menu.
I figured it was a case of hard reset as, due to the fact settings was unavailable, I couldn't even check for a new software update. So anyway, I hard reset and the problem is still there.
What's weirder is for the first 40 minutes or so it crashed in the same way as before, now it pops up and says 'sorry this crashed, would you like to send an error report'.
So I did. the error report says 'report type: crash, package name 'com.android.settings' ....

when i go to settings>applications>manage applications, i see lots of applications in the list that are not in the menu like application installer service and voice dialer.ok, so i'll list the applications that are in my menu. album, camera, alarm, calendar, settings, calculator, timer, notes, facebook, fm radio, Internet, playnow, video, google talk, browser, gmail, trackid, e-mail, stopwatch, timescape, user guide, neoreader, backup and restore, user support, sync, 2 roadsync's, maps, sim toolkit and some default games.so, these are the applications in my menu. please tell me if something's wrong with my phone.

I'm using Nokia x2-01. In just a twinKle of an eye I Lost all the preinstalled games and apps, all the gallery files and web browser including six menu items of the phone they are calculator; life tools, chat, communities and mail. I tried to download a game from Nokia store, it says certificate not on phone. Tried to update software it says no provider found. Requested for service settings from my service provider it says my device is not recognized

My Ovi Store app was on my menu screen, but when I updated it, it disappeared and it was placed in the folder "Collection". So I'm wondering, is it posibble to put the Ovi Store icon back on the menu screen again?

Most of the time, menu button deosn't react at all, no matter hom many times I press it, in home screen mode, and it takes more then 10 seconds to press and hold for multitask menu to appear.

Woke up this morning to find that my phone wont open the menu and that the keypad is stuff. Ive tryed hard resetting it but did nothing. I cant think of anything that would have caused this to do this and it was working fine last night before going to bed. Any ideas? I really dont wanna have to send it backunless i have to as this is my second one and i dont have a spare phone.

Lately, one touch of my power button causes it to open the profile menu, and then it restarts on it's own, without me holding it. Then it comes back on by itself too, like the power button is jammed...
When I pull the battery out, and leave it out for whatever length of time (I tried 10-20 min), as soon as the battery is back in, it turns itself on.As of the last few days, it has decided than when I place it on a table, or sometimes just getting moved around in my pocket, it wants to restart...
I do NOT want to send it back to manufacturer, as they will give me a $4 phone to use, and still charge me data rates and all that for 8 weeks.... But is there a fix for this, like a program or something that alters what the power button does? Can I disable the power button at all? Other than this issue, my phone is awesome! And if there IS a way of disabling, is there a way I can shut down not using this button, like if my phone freezes or something, besides pulling the battery?

I just bought a brand new 9860 Torch today and all of a sudden I cannot open the options menu to change settings. Also I cannot view my network and connections to see whether my data service is turned on. I am currently not receiving data on my device. This is alarming as I spent a small fortune to acquire this device today. Again I discovered to my horror the earpiece jack does not hold in the port of my device and unable to listen to music via handsfree. The options icon on the home screen does not open at all when I touch it.Instead it freezes. Same with the network and connections options under network connections.

I got my Blackberry Bold 9700 from AT&T about a month and a half ago, and recently I've been having problems opening texts. It'll say I have a new text and I'll go in my inbox to open it but when I click, it won't let me read it. It'll let me open the ones before it, but not the unread one. Even if I click the the menu button then "open" it still doesn't work.

In Nokia Suite I keep getting offered two new applications that I do not want (Microsoft apps and T-Mobile). I have three options: install, back, later. I do not want these apps. Is there any way of stopping them being constantly offered to me over Software Update?

I recently got my Z3+ a few weeks back and it has been working well for me ever since. A few things i've noticed is the phone tends to overheat when its put underwater, and loses network coverage underwater as well. A rumour i've heard is also that the water-resistant feature of the phone is not compatible with salt water? Lastly, only problem i'm having is with applications. Applications i've downloaded, mostly games, tend to give the "Unfortunately, _____ has stopped working." message.

I have a Nokia C7 .recently I have upgraded it with latest OS software which is Symbian Anna versn-22.014.But after the upgradion I am unable to use my any OVI Application (Maps, Facebook through OVI etc.).Its giving error Network not available, but I am able to use Nokia browser and able to access all the sites.
