Jun 21, 2011Only in the past two days when I delete an email from Hotmail on my PC, it does not delete on my BB.However, if I delete an email from my BB and select "mailbox & handheld", it is deleted from Hotmail on my PC.I have had the same Pearl 8110 on the same T-mobile package for more than 12 months.I have checked that wireless reconciliation is "on" in my BB email settings.Also, late today my BB has started truncating all my messages and not providing the "more" option or automatically loading the rest of the message.

Sep 25, 2011I have installed the 2.3.4 update 3 days before and after that I have noticed that my E-mails are getting deleted automatically from INBOX. I have configured the default E-mail client with POP3 configuration. Everyday older mails are getting deleted from INBOX automatically. Strange thing is that older mails are getting deleted from INBOX only (not from TRASH or SEND box). With 2.3.3 I was not getting this issue. I was able to view 2-3 days older mails also in 2.3.3. But after installing 2.3.4, whenever I'm opening INBOX, Older mails are getting replaced with new mails automatically. I want my older emails to be in INBOX also.

Apr 11, 2012Backed up before updating, even though the update assured me everything would be preserved. All the messages are still there, but the contacts are gone. Apps, photos, everything else backed up and restored with no problem, just contacts are gone.

Aug 11, 2011So i download an update for about 4 hours, it crashes at least twice in the process, and then when everything is finally working, I notice my contacts are completely gone. The ones that sync from facebook are fine, but I don't care about those. Lots of them are gone though. I have no idea what they were saved in before. What account... etc. This happened last time i updated the system, but i had my old phone so i just went to at&t and had them add them all. i didn't think it would happen again, but IT DID!

May 14, 2011For the past couple of days, my Devour has been giving he message that applications have "stopped unexpectedly." The applications it refers to are often either My Verizon Mobile or Messaging. I believe it started when I updated. Is there a way to stop this? Also, my contacts were all deleted about an hour ago. Fortunately, most of them were recovered within about 15 minutes, but none of them have their corresponding pcitures, and my phone is not collecting contact information from Facebook as it used to. Also, when I view a certain contact, it becomes linked with my own information, even after unlinking and deleting my own contact. How can I fix this mess and retrieve contacts from facebook?

When I open an email, in either place, it will show up as read in both. This is whole issue is also taking place with my iPad. I have reset my Outlook on my iPhone several times, yet it is still not sycning.

May 15, 2011Today my Blackberry Curve 8310 deleted all of my received text messages. It also did this (deleted the all of the received messages) about 2 days ago. I don't know why or what keeps happening. I will go to look at a text message and they will all be gone. Only the incoming texts are deleted, the outgoing/sent ones always remain and so do emails. I have lost a ton of important, irreplaceable texts (including those which had pictures attached). This keeps occurring for no apparent reason. When this happens I hadn't turned my phone off or taken the battery out.
I have my setting as follows under Inbox: Options; General Options: Keep Message Forever.

how I would accomplish this through backing up my device? From what I understand, if you backup your device, deleted texts are included in the backup file. If I were to restore my iPhone using this backup file, would the previously deleted texts now show back up on the phone? This is the part I don't fully understand.

Jun 28, 2012I was having problems downloading from the app store (which another thread resolution solved for me) but in the midst of working on this issue, a friend suggested I do a hard reset on the phone by holding the top power button and the little dot on the front until it just shut off. I did this and I come back to none of my text messages. They have all been deleted. I can't find anything on the forums about this.
I am not sure I particularly care, meaning I don't think I had too much in the way of important information contained in them, but it wasn't supposed to do that so that's a bit annoying to me. Why did my phone do something it wasn't supposed to do?
