I've got the Bold 9000, and I'm using OS 5.0 (5.0.0.464).My sister went in my phone and deleted ALL my text messages, I've checked SMS Inbox and SMS Outbox, and all the folders, and I didn't have the option selected to save SMS to Sim Card, so no SMS's there. Is there any way at all to retrieve my deleted text conversations? Any hidden folders or logs or anything in the phone's software files to retrieve the texts?
I switch my SIM Card from one 9000 BlackBerry to a new one. I can't retrieve my contacts no matter what I do. My personal and business options are unchecked. The contact list remains empty.
My battery died yesterday, and when it finally recharged today, I couldn't see text that I've sent/ that I've received. If i go to messages > sms inbox, I can see the messages, but when I expand them, it turns to a blank conversation window.
When I text, I also have no confirmation whether I got it or not. I've tried restoring my data, but it still remained the same.
edit: when I turned the phone on for the first time, it displayed a 'integer error 7 >= 7 (or something like that)' message.
I'm using the Bold 9000 with ATT's latest OS, 4.6x. Twice in the last 2 weeks all of my past calendar items - over 1000 - were deleted on my Blackberry. Both times I discovered this when I started a synch with Outlook on my laptop and BB Desktop Software wanted to delete all 1000+ past appts. from Outlook. That would have been a disaster.
This has never happened before and I haven't changed any settings. Calendar is still set to keep all appointments forever.
Is there somewhere else in my Blackberry settings I should be looking to find the source of this problem?
My phone was playing up, mainly the Facebook app. So I deleted the app, then reinstalled it. Next thing I know, all my contacts have been deleted, and I don't know where they have gone! Help!
Recently, my Blackberry Bold 9700 showed that I have an SMS text message that is unread. I tried going into the messages, doing "Mark Prior Opened" and it still shows I have a text message. Then I deleted all my messages in the SMS/MMS icon and still shows I have a message. How can I get ride of this?
I normally have to keep most of my history SMSes as they contain data and contacts from client and usually do not delete them. However i started using the new phone in early november and my sms history get auto deleted to now in mid dec. i have set the default of item from 40 to maximum 50, does not make sense,
I have a BlackBerry Bold 9000 smartphone and using the Blackberry desktop software version 4.2 to sync contacts And outlook emails. But I realized that new contacts added to my blackberry are being deleted automatically.
i just purchased a replacement bb bold 9000 off ebay (it's an unlocked at&t handset that i bought after my bb bold got stolen... total bummer) and it was working fine all week up until last night when it stopped being able to handle incoming and outgoing calls and texts. The internet and email functions still work which is very peculiar. also some further info, when i put my sim card into another handset (in this case a nokia e65) all my normal call functions work and when i put another sim card in the bold the same thing happens (when i try to make a call it instantly pops up with a call failed warning). another thing is the bold shows full service coverage... currently the bold about shows... v4.6.0.304 (Platform 4.0.0.247) im on australia and for some reason i cant update the os to v5
so these issues with unable to retrieve texts and me thinking my texts are being sent and looking at my phone 5 min later and seeing a red x is pissing me off. its been happening every day now for at least a week . im in NY on longisland . i think this was the email they answer u quickly on . Trying to sort out my bosses Blackberry. IT don't know much about them...!
Its a Blackberry Bold 9000 on Vodafone (NZ) OS V4.6.0.247
Right so I know a *bit* about Blackberry's (have a storm...) so I seem to be the go to for a lot of the bosses. As with most work phones, every other application has been deleted off it, eg bluetooth, instant messaging etc. The problem is that the Blackberry Messenger Message button (blue double B) is still appearing on his home screen, even though Instant Chat has been deleted.
I recently lost my iPhone at a concert and unfortunately, it was never connected with iCloud, nor was it backed up to iTunes. I got a new iPhone and connected it to iTunes. I have my contacts (taken from my sister's iPhone) and voicemails, but nothing else. I would really like my old text messages and photos, but have no idea what to do in order to get them.
I accidentally deleted a sent message on my Blackberry Bold 9000. I have the delivery receipt that I received in my Outlook that contains the Original Message ID #. However, this email does not have the text of the email that I sent. How can I retrieve the body of the email I sent using this ID #?
how can I retrieve deleted (by mistake) videos from my C3 phone? I put them as playlist and mistakenly delete it. All names are still there but when play it, it says selected content unavailable...is there any way of retrieving these videos?
I have a question regarding Past BBM messages. Can I recover or retrieve my past messages from my service provider? I share My AT&T& account with my business partner. As in our numbers are in the company name though we use different numbers and handsets. I am tensed if she tries to read my personal messages and bbms. I have looked around online but failed to get any reliable answer.
