May 23, 2011
My BB torch is not connecting to the Blackberry infrastructure, which mean im not receiving any emails, or BB messages. i have only have the phone for a week now and this should not be happening. is there anything i can do to alter this or does it need to be taken back?
I have a problem with my BlackBerry Curve 8520:Whenever I connect to Wi-Fi it does not connect to BlackBerry Infrastructure and the WiFi icon on the Home screen stays grey and do not turn white.
I have reset the phone many times but still not fixed.
I have seen on the community other people have also this problem, but can not see a reply that works yet
I can use my blackberry in places with public WiFi access - connect, lo-gin and use the WiFi. At home my blackberry is assigned an ip address - seen in WiFi diagnostics and on WiFi modem. The only difference that I noticed between my blackberry at home and on a public WiFi is that the blackberry infrastructure is connected in public. Does my wifi modem need to be set to recognize an remote blackberry structure address?
I baught the phones used from ebay. One of the phones is working fine. The other phone is not connecting to the 3G network. It is not even showing the 3G network when I manually search networks. I want it to connect to the 3G network because WIND only uses 3G.
Both are running the same( latest )OS version. I have switched sim cards(to no avail) and I have tried to restore it to factory settings using the wipe feature in the security settings(nothing)Both phones are next to each other. One is showing 3G the other is showing 2G (same carrier).
Ever since this morning my Blackberry 9300 hasn't received any mail. I have two accounts set up on it, a Gmail account and my work webmail account. If I try to go into the email settings, I get message: 'connecting to email settings' and an hour glass and eventually 'your device has a problem connecting to the server'.
I have tried on both the WIFI at work and the Virgin Media mobile network.
I am having a problem connecting my blackberry phone to a wireless network. The phone wil enter bedside mode and i get a message stating that the phone will not charge. I am able to charge the phone without the dock using the exact same cable. The retailer isnt willing to assist in this matter as they say it is something I need to take up with the manufacture.whats wrong or how to make the phone charge?
I have installed 9800 simulator along with MDS & ESS. MDS is getting started properly. But when i open browser and type any URL, it says requested server not found.
My PC is behind firewall and I use proxy server to connect to internet. Do I need to configure any proxy settings while starting MDS?

I work at a remote mine site for 2 weeks at a time and when i come here i don't have any cell service BUT i do keep in contact with family and friends through BBM (connecting through wifi.) NOW last time i was on my two weeks off my phone was acting slow, so i looked up how to speed it up and read that if i download some version of whatever ".246" from what i was running at the time ".144" it would speed up my phone.. I didnt install it just downloaded it on my two weeks off while i was in cell phone coverage area but when i got to camp i decided to install this upgraded program overnight while i was sleeping. When i woke up it shows i am connected to a wifi signal and i can access the internet browser and that all works fine like normally BUT it wont let me connect through bbm. it says that BBM is not connected to a network.. It says BBM Enterprise Service is "not connected" and Blackberry Internet Service is "Not connected" and mobile network is "not connected" What happened and how do i fix this so i can bbm again while i am here?? or do i have to wait two weeks till i leave camp and go back to home where i have cellphone signal?
my bb torch 9800 is not connecting to wifi settings in my home. i've spoken to tech people both at bell and rim with no solutions. i have three other bb in this house and all connect to wifi. when we change the protocol from wep to wpa my phone works but the others do not. the other phones are brand new. when we switch back to wep setting my phone "fails to associate with network".
I recently moved over to tmobile from sprint with my device and the voice and normal texting work fine. BUt I cannot get on app world or bbm because it wont connect to blackberry service and I am paying for it. what can I do to trouble shoot my phone and get bbm and app world working.
my phone will not connected to wireless network, it receives the gaining OK, but in the Service Status it says BlackBerry Internet Service; Not Connected and also BlackBerry Enterprise Server; Not Connected.
When I try to go to a webpage it says; 'Unable to find requested server'. Is there some setting on my phone I have to change? This has only happened in the last 2 weeks, I usually had you trouble connecting to the internet through wireless connection.
Like I have no trouble gaining internet access through just using my mobile network to connect, which seems strange! Also my BlackBerry App World also says 'having trouble connecting to BlackBerry App World. Verify your network connections and try again.
i recently got a torch 9810 used to use bold...the problem i'm having that i didnt have with the bold is i cannot connect through the wifi at home...it tells me i'm connected but under 'service status' blackberry internet service is still using mobile network (carrier)...why its not changing that status where in the bold i could clearly tell that when i turn wifi on it shows under internet service WIFI.I've contacted my carrier (rogers) and they said its blackberry issue If i dont find a solution for this i may have to say good buy to my brand new torch (i just got it litteraly 2days ago )
I had the jvm error, tried the forced connection by removing battery and connecting to the PC using the USB and doing the update, It stopped at connecting to JVM and has not started since.
When I try to connect, it connect after enterying passkey, but when the PC is trying to find driver, it ask for a disk for driver, but I can't find it.
Is there a way to connect to a hands free device in vehicle without waiting each time to push the yes or no connect button? In other words I want my phone 9810 to auto connect each time I get in vehicle.
I installed the Blackberry desk top software on one computrer and have no problem syncing and updating, but when I installed the software on another computer it does not detect the connected Blackberry. USB is OK because Blackberry charges. What am I missing?
I have a net gear router in my home and i connect it through the bb 9800, but the service status always shows that the bb internet service is connected through the mobile network, i tried it with another router and it was successfully working and the bb internet service is connected through the wifi whenever the wifi is connected.
I have the Torch 9800 and I'm running Wndows XP with the most recent version of Desktop manager.Up until two weeks ago my phone and computer communicated beautifully, syncing, back-ups, file sharing, everything. But last week my computer and phone seemed to fail to see each other and now nothing is happening when I plug my phone in. The phone goes to the 'clock' screen as if it's plugged into a charger and doesn't display a connection issue on it's end, but the computer does not show that anything has been connected. So far I have:
1) Checked the USB connection to the comptuter 2) Tried different USB ports 3) Tried a different USB cable 4) Wiped and re-installed Desktop manager on my computer
I'm at a loss on how to get my computer and phone talking to each other again.
I am trying to connect with desktop software for my blackberry torch 9800 and it asks me password for connection. I am using same unlocking password which I use for my bb but for desktop software it shows incorrect...
